FAQs/Why would they do that?! Answers
We are so glad you are here! Welcome to our channel!
1. We are in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border.
2. We do this on a volunteer basis.
3. Kim aka Mom is retired. Jennifer owns her own business as a massage therapist.
4. We film multiple locations in one day since we can’t go out all the time given Jen’s full time job. You may not see all the locations we filmed that day in one video.
5. You may see other people in our videos at times including Granny aka Sue (mom’s mom), Jeff (Kim’s husband and Jennifer’s dad), or Jessica (Jennifer’s little sister) and Lucy (our beautiful, amazing, wonderful dog).
6. Many wonder why we put stuff down culverts. A few reasons: it provides help for wildlife, we like to and it would have gone downstream anyway. If it blocks another culvert then we will take care of that too but most of the locations we visit are in incredibly rural areas where there won’t be another culvert for miles.
7. We care about wildlife and never want to cause harm to them. The only reason we will clear a beaver damn is if it is threatening land or roads that can not be accessed any other way. It may not be the road directly within sight but a farm road close by.
8. We appreciate advice in the comments. We understand that we will receive constructive criticism in the comments. What we won’t allow is the calling of names, derogatory terms, or just plain calling us stupid or idiots. We are all adults here and the internet is already a largely negative place as it is, let’s not add to it. We are people doing our best to help our neighborhood and planet by picking up trash and clearing culverts. Why do we deserve hate for that?
9. You may not agree with or like the way we did something but that doesn’t mean we did it wrong. There is a right/wrong way to dismantle a bomb. Clearing culverts is up for interpretation to the one doing the work.
10. We hope that you enjoy our videos and will keep coming back for more! Any other questions you have feel free to ask in the comments.

Another great video and a massive whirlpool a lot of water flowing great clean outs.
You two are awesome.
Nothing is cooler than seeing two woman playing in the water and helping make drainage smoother!! Great job ladies
Exceptional job ladies and such quick results for your effort be proud
Maybe spray paint a small bright colored little circle at the culverts to make them easier to locate. Just a quick little spray
Not good in the snow…better to use plastic ribbons in trees.😊
Great work ladies! ❤❤Yes, the noise level of the grunt is directly proportional to the size of the tree in the culvert!😂😂❤❤
Why of course 😂
Great job again ladies always have a wonderful time watching you both can't wait until Thursday for another one God you hope you are having a great day 🙏❤️❄️🥶🌲🎄🦌🎁🛍️
Great job as always girls! ❤
Could you go on a pretty day when water is down and makes a paint mark where culverts are? It wouldn’t help when it real high but if there was only a little water flowing over the road you might be able to see a neon color on the road which I just saw a lot of gravel on the side so I just took up space for nothing. LOL!
This is another awesome video. You all really charge right into these drains.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Aloha 🌺 Wow so much water! Good job Kim & Jen! 🥰
Good work girls, from UK.
Nice job you two! 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
That’s a lot of thankless work. You know your value even if nobody cheers you on. God bless you
you are a breath of fresh air, keep going thanks
Great job!
Glad you pick up the trash also!
A small dot of florescent paint when dry will help locating
nice job again.
Thanks for the simultaneous views from the entry and the exit!
I LOVE IT WHEN MOM GETS WATER IN HER BOOT!! Love the accent! ❤❤❤
Great job ladies working together…it was a fun video to watch 👏
With that kind of water pressure you most likely kept that road from washing out .Well done Jim's wood shop.
Over the summer one thing you can do to find the culverts in the water. You could mix up epoxy and epoxy a small reflector on the asphalt right on the edge . Then when the water is flowing over you can find the reflector and know tour over the top of the culvert intake. Simple cheap and may help. Thumbs up for you ladies.
Awesome whirlpool!
Lordy Jen you scared the dickens out of me near that whirlpool! Yes I know you're both careful but the mom in me was like get the heck back!💜🐸
Great variety on this one! That one huge whirlpool on the new bridge was pretty amazing, how it formed up sideways. When you guys get rain, you really get RAIN. Thanks again for such great content! You're incredible!
That was a BIG whirlpool!
I TOTALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO LADIES ANOTHER JOB WELL DONE 😊

Riveting, what a great whirlpool! I think Post 10 would be jealous! Thank you again for another great video! Monday, December 11th. 😎🇨🇦😎
You two need to be careful after the heavy rains. If you feel in near the big whirlpool it would suck you down. Please be careful. Stay safe!!!!
Yes we will 😊

I don't think it's that dangerous. Look at the amount of water pushing these guys - they seem very little affected.

Welcome to our channel 🤗
I have been watching your channel since it opened and how your camera skills have improved over time. I have to say, I think I vote this video hands down the best one yet! Thank You!
Thank you, every time I watch a video I think about how we could make it better.
@@culvertsandmore It is definitely shown in each new video. I think you have the formula. Camera 1 on the intake, camera 2 on the exit pipe. Or if you dont have camera two, film the unblocking then run over to show us the exit result. The commentary is very helpful as well and keeps the viewer interested. Good job again!
Cool video as always. Stay safe out there.
Could do with you ladies in the UK at the moment! We have lots of flooding due to a string of storms and many of our rivers are clogged!
nice going
You ladies have got me hooked. Keep up the good work.
Règle n° 2. Ne jamais plier les genoux.
Règle n° 1. Ne pas mouiller les bottes !
Règle n° 3. Manipuler le râteau à une main.
Hi gals. Kim, it's a good job that you are in the US and I am in AUS or I would be tracking you down and acquiring your purple jacket as I collect all things purple. Hand it over, ha. Sue, mum from Adelaide, South Australia 🇦🇺 💜
You would love my collection of purple comforters, bed spread, sheets, pillow cases, blankets and curtains
Impressive whirlpool around 29:00 minutes!!
👍👍, super
Fabulous as usual. Question, what do your neighbours think of the fantastic work you both do?😊😊😊😊😊
Want to ladies to be careful when water is flowing over those bridges want to be see you and mom for years to come
Are there County workers to unclog the culverts? I've never known citizens that go and do this.
Would it be ok to ask what Jeff and Kim do/did for a living? Some hard-working folks.
For 32 years dad worked in auto parts stores. Mom worked several jobs throughout the years
😁
when you do this you should invess in some waders - Waterproof boots that cover the whole leg and hips, and sometimes the chest; worn by anglers.
We do have some actually. You will see them in some videos. In summer, it’s really hot and we need to wear snake bit proof boots. Thanks for the advice!
@@culvertsandmore im sure there is snake proof wellies also :D
you must clear slow moving culvart you must see what you left

Maybe get a stand for your camera so you can help her. Just a idea but what do I know I’m just a hillbilly 😆
We do have 2 cameras stands but a lot of times we get better views if one of us holds the camera
@@culvertsandmore I see what you mean. Y’all do good work. I watched one where your Dad was helping. It’s cool to do things with your parents.
