trucks looking good, cant wait to see this thing take flight
Been waiting on new content!
Trying to finish up another video this week. Just need more daylight. Did some work over the weekend and it’s rowdy.
I’ve been told the trick with LS valve cover gaskets is to put them in the freezer for a bit before you install them and they will contract and not be so loose when you’re putting them in. Haven’t tried it yet myself
I have an issue with them being a little too short. Gotta stretch them out before install
Kewl im still remodeling my new to me garage. Got parts and all i can do is stare at them until get garage done
I love the truck brother. I need to order a set of Ls3 rockers with the trunion upgrade. I found a set of low milage 821 Ls3 heads for $300. Bare but that's OK. I'm going to prob run the BTR .660 valve springs and the rocker set. Michigan Motorsports sell the Gm Performance stock valves not too bad. I am still waiting on my Ls3 block from the machine shop. 6 months now but there was a miss communication so oh well.
@lsblue Have you tried a few dabs of Permatex Aviation Form-A-Gasket on the valve cover gaskets?
I do a very light amount just on the valve cover side. It stays sticky but doesn’t harden fully
That’s exactly what I did to get them to stick.
You have heat in that garage? Winter is starting to arrive in Kentucky lol. I'm sure you didn't do that this morning at 27 degrees out.
No unfortunately I don’t have heat in there unless I leave the door to the house open. Been working on it throughout last week.
@@LsBluu I have two garages. One is attached to the house I'm guessing like yours. I have ceiling fans and a few heat vents that was here when I bought the house luckily. The other garage I run diesel fuel heaters. Back when I got them diesel wasn't expensive like it is today. When it's really cold like this morning, it makes it livable but not exactly toasty lol is that baby here yet? I'm guessing not because you have time and a little money to work on the S10 lol I'm hoping to see you this summer at the valley and making some low 6 passes.
She’s not here just yet. Expecting her around February. I’m shooting to dig deep into the 6’s on the bottle and a 6 all motor. It went 7.29 all motor with a garbage 60’.
@@LsBluu I think you'll hit 6's on engine. Maybe even 5's on laughing gas! Better hurry up and get those mods done though. when the baby arrives that truck will be on the back burner a while. Just think. One day you'll hear the words, dad can I drive the S10? Lol I really think you'll be a good dad. Wishing you and your wife the best of luck. If you don't post another video before Christmas. I hope you and your family have a very merry Christmas!
I sincerely appreciate that
Hey what is your fuel pressure on the nitrous running with the Efi terminator setup ? Thanks nice truck !
Currently 60 psi. Also running the appropriate jets for that pressure.
