This Hood had an atypical ending, as in the first set, on a whim, they began introducing every song with Page making a THX-like sound crescendo while Trey goofily spoke to the crowd “this next song’s called…”. Typically they don’t speak between songs but every once in a while they just start messing around, much to the delight of us fans. So that final moment in Hood when they all looked at Page for that sound effect it was a callback to the fun they were having at the start of the night.
Great video! I love how chill and open-minded you guys are. It's so fun to see people start to "get" Phish, see how their minds open up about music. You guys are right about how they still play great today; the music is different every time they play regardless of the year, but the energy is always there. Definitely go to a live show whenever things open up again, I guarantee neither of you will regret it. It's an experience that can only vaguely be reproduced on a screen.

I read a quote from bassist, Mike Gordon, years ago about Harry Hood that always stuck with me: (paraphrased) “the ending of Harry Hood has to come about organically, and there’s a magic that has to happen between the four of us, or else it just becomes New Age music”

So I am from VT and went to my first show at Springfield Symphony Hall 1992 and I was 14. You guys are funny and awesome and I think that online you are not seeing or experience the vibe because most are not social media peeps. I’m laughing now before Harry Hood. So Harry Hood was Hood Milk Someone lived near the Factory and there was a big sign. The Band has two phases. Pre Sobriety and then Sober. Tre starting doing Heroin and got arrested. Their

On occasion at Phish shows, you get glow stick wars. People literally launching hundreds of them simultaneously (not towards the band) and if they land near you, you toss them again. It creates an amazing light show type effect.
welp, you got a good dose of lights with this vid, they take just as much care in delivering the highest quality sound when playing live, you just couldn't get that from this particular vid but the way the lights were captured made it a treat.
This was the last show I attended before covid :(

Phish’s sound will withstand the test of time and anyone who can’t appreciate modern Phish is a snob. Modern Phish is certainly different but in a lot of ways what they are doing now is better than ever. No doubt mid-90’s Phish is the best but the Boys are still AMAZING and like all great bands they continue to evolve and reinvent themselves.
Congrats, you have officially joined the main phish argument over the last 20 years...fans that only like 90s phish and fans that like all years.
This song is about opening your fridge and seeing a pint of milk, then closing your fridge and wondering where the milk went. Deep stuff ha ha.
