Just came across your channel and it was nice to see someone else clean them without taking off the membrane never seem that brand before. I buy aunt Bessie’s when I can fine them $15.99 5lbs bag the very clean. They looked yummy.🙂
Yes, you can cook them in a crock pot, but there is a subtle difference. Sort of like microwave popcorn vs. stovetop. One is ok, but the other is fabulous! Stovetop chitlins are way better!
Thank you! For this video. I never seen my grandma Mom and Aunts. Take out the nembrain. Only rhe trash and fat. If you take out the membrane . It won't have a texture or flavor.
Still too much fat and impurities once you added seasoning and onions…ect …. I boil mine 3times for 1 1/2 hr pour water off after each boil rinse chittlins and pot. The 4th time add bell pepper, garlic onion potatoes, seasoning…ect…

How many bags or pails of chitterlings do I have to buy to feed a family of 4?
I would say at least 6-10 bags, depending on how large your appetites are.

They’re very good. Not a whole lot of maintenance.
I want some chitlins and hog maws so bad.
😊 you’ve definitely got to get some soon
You take the fat and trash off. Don't take the second skin or membranes off I only use Aunt Bessie's. You are doing a great job.
😊 Thank you
Don’t take the membrane off? That’s what most people say is not to eat that, take it off?
❤
😊 Thank you so much!
How to fry chitterlings
Interesting…deep fry?
Yeh you took off the membrane off! And why not just cut the chittlins up while in the pot?
That’s another option (to cut them in the pot).
Bro Gran-Gran used large bowls or pales and would of said "get my food out that damn sink boy."
😂
need me some😊
