i love splatoon! i love marina & pearl! i love agent eight! i love these characters a lot... so i wanted to make something to express that love. marina especially is a character that i feel a really deep connection to, and the story of side order made me reflect on what her journey has been... and why she and pearl need each other.
anyway! i'll let the music speak for itself. thank you for listening.

the "heart counting four" lyric is so genuinely amazing and is actually exactly what happens at the final boss of side order too, its genius, no matter how badly you're beat or how close to death and defeat you are, as long as your heart can catch the beat you will stand back and win, its so dramatic and epic and cool
Normally I’m not too big on English covers of Splatoon songs, but this was executed beautifully!! The lyrics work really well and the voices you chose are nice as well ^^

The way you worked in melodies from a bunch of other OTH songs (the Nasty Majesty reference is really sneaky lol) is absolutely amazing, it all works together perfectly! The lyrics are really beautiful too, just fantastic work all around

@@TheMCPRINCESSPearl it's whenever it goes "on, on and on and on" (first time is 1:26), it has the same rhythm as the "na nana nana na" part in Nasty Majesty. The notes aren't an *exact* match so it might be a coincidence, but the video also shows the Metro at that part so I feel like it has to be intentional!
