His verses, when he sings so softly... Gives me butterflies. She's so rough. and he's so gentle. However, The Russian version makes me INSANE because it's so intensely hot.
@sokarril Sometimes it's difficult to carry the full impact of a song though the translation process. They are very talented and I'm glad to hear the English version so I can fully appreciate the song. The other version was great also but it difficult for me to truly get the full impact of the song when I don't speak the language.
I feel so proud of myself since I can play that intro with my guitar ♥ It was so hard u-u But I made it ^^ I love this song, and the ban *-* OMG just amazing
I can't speak Russian and I think the Russian version is better. It sounds more natural for them and I think something gets lost when they translated the lyrics. I still love both versions though.
+Bob Stachowiak the english version they did for Break the Code has a much more natural sound with the new lyrics. but the russian version is still awesome
It´s funny (without looking at the lyrics) that in russian version I understand some words, but in this version I can´t understand a sh*t.:D Their english really improved.
I'd like to literally translate the lyrics for you so that you can understand the meaning. Since I'm Russian :) The floors are whizzing by. Upward, to the top! Maybe you are alive, But I can't hear your laughter. Stuck in the narrow world, silent in time with each other. We were being got at for 45 minutes and the body was feeling lust, wanting to tell you but unable to.
russian version rocks!! the lyrics are also better, and her voice...is twice powerful in her native language! Why can't they become famous in russian?....they deserve it!
there is one thing that stays constant in music of all genres. If a song is sung in one language, regardless of what your native language is, it will suck in another language
LMAO! was just thinking that XD its almost like a russian peep speaking english, made me think whether its the original singer actually singing it in english :P
Thank goodness Russia, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia is keeping the good music alive, the rest of the world has gone popular and don't care. Good grunge song and a bit before it's time to be called Grunge Revival haha. (Grunge Revival started in 2017 / 2018).
Wow. This is the first time i've been able to listen to them in enlish. Is the traslation they made the basic meaning that is spoken in the russian version? Thanks For uploading!! SLOT IS THR BOMB
@mjtambe Not foreign, she's native but ethnically she doesn't look like pure Russian. I think she has blood mixes, may be Tatarian (Another one historical ethnos of Russia).
itunes is where i buy their music. :D also their website(though its all in russian) has merc and music u can buy. ...though i can't read russian so its kinda of a problem.
Yeah, I'm not downing the bands in the States, but there are alot more great ones in the world than just here. Wish more people would open up and realize that.
this song rocks even though its so simple to play its just drop d tunning with a bar chord on 6th fret for about 5 strums then 3rd fret for about 3 strums
@JakRizen2 Well yeah of course, does a song that is originally written for one language ever sound right when it get accomodated for another? If you want to hear a Russian group that has some originals in English, listen to Tatu.
It gets warmer but we can't SEE it Missing in action, no other news Ropes and cables were torn. We are grenades. Over there, on the 10-th, the deal was only for 5 seconds and flashed away. I know that I loose you once again.
Eh, I don't know Russian either. I found this song when I was looking up music for my husband who is learning the language. I still say the song sounds better in the original language. Seems like there's more feeling to it.
@MrH0useOfWh0res, I can understand a lot of the words that I make out. Although I don't know how that has anything to do with their genre. If you watch one of any interviews with them, they will say that they are an Alternative Rock group. Anything referred to as "girl rock" is generally far more "poppy."
AKA, poetry. AKA, something that takes imagination and lack of any down to earth mentality to interpret. In other words, you have to be tripped out to get it :P
The original language of any song is almost always better than any translation, and in my personal opinion, Russian is a much more beautiful and flexible language than English ever can be.
you're right it sounds kidna weird in english Even if i dont understand russian i like the original version better But its still nice to know what the lyrics are
good instrument especially druming at the beggining, but I've heard both versions and I think the ladt should refrain from screaming (mabey the guys better at it, mabey it doesn't need screaming) 3 stars
I got halfway through the song and then realized it was in English because I happened to look at the tab this was in... I obviously speak English and i prefer the russian version by far.
yeah changing from your own language to a different is hard. I got russian friends and its hard for them to talk to me in english, luckily i know both russian and ukrainian so i can communicate with them
The Russian version is better. Even though I don't understand what is being said, I have a vaige idea of what is happening. (Oh, excuse my spelling errors. I'm only holiday you see.)
This is definitely not the same one that's on "Break the Code" It has different english lyrics and sounds different. Anyone knows where's this from? I can't make out the lyrics for that at all in the chorus except the word intertwine. Which does not appear here.
what the fuck the russian version is way better then that english version...the english version looks like they arent loud enough and i cant comprehend them.
His verses, when he sings so softly... Gives me butterflies.
She's so rough. and he's so gentle. However, The Russian version makes me INSANE because it's so intensely hot.
she has an amazing voice. its amazing that she can sing like that in 2 languages. And her scream is fucking sweet.
That girl really has a set of lungs, this group is definitely one of the best, hope they come here some day...like to see them live
im impressed at how good her english singing voice is!
I wish the radio stations around here would play music like this.
so happy to have found this in english. ty for this treasure.
@sokarril

este grupo en desde su primera impresion es bueno. que maquina de rolas
I feel so proud of myself since I can play that intro with my guitar ♥
It was so hard u-u But I made it ^^
I love this song, and the ban *-* OMG just amazing
i wish i could find this song on limewire. so good in both English and Russian
I like how well they converted the language. No matter what language you change a song to from it's orginal it's hard to do but they did a great job.
I can't speak Russian and I think the Russian version is better. It sounds more natural for them and I think something gets lost when they translated the lyrics. I still love both versions though.
You're right
+Bob Stachowiak the english version they did for Break the Code has a much more natural sound with the new lyrics. but the russian version is still awesome
Still better than the "Two Wars" version they released on the english album.
Well I understand the English version about as much as the Russian version, which is zero.
It´s funny (without looking at the lyrics) that in russian version I understand some words, but in this version I can´t understand a sh*t.:D Their english really improved.
great song in russian and english version
it's expressive
PAZDROVKA FROM POLAND :)
I love the original Russian version even though I speak no Russian but this version is fantastic because I can fully appreciate the song :)
great band and voide, greetings from austria
Slot just has more power when they sing in Russian. I guess the language change is harder for them than it seems.
I want to see more English versions of The Slot's songs
I'd like to literally translate the lyrics for you so that you can understand the meaning. Since I'm Russian :)

Two different battles in my head
Two different springs but only one winter.
Two thin strings in the sleeve,
Hold out till the bottom and become insane
thanks for the translation
LMAO! was just thinking that XD
its almost like a russian peep speaking english,
made me think whether its the original singer actually singing it in english :P
Amazing singer

I like both versions of the song.. but the better thing at the english version is.. that I can understand them ;]
Wow. This is the first time i've been able to listen to them in enlish. Is the traslation they made the basic meaning that is spoken in the russian version? Thanks For uploading!! SLOT IS THR BOMB
Du bist einfach Hammer
This song makes a hell of a lot more sense in Russian than it does in English.

@mjtambe
Not foreign, she's native but ethnically she doesn't look like pure Russian. I think she has blood mixes, may be Tatarian (Another one historical ethnos of Russia).
Omaha, NE USA fan right here =D.
I know a lot of people say the Russian version is better, but this version is still very good.
itunes is where i buy their music. :D also their website(though its all in russian) has merc and music u can buy. ...though i can't read russian so its kinda of a problem.
@TeleKompost I have to agree here - the strength of the russian language suits this song like a glove =)
This is fantastic music, did they go to Europe or the U.S. to tour yet?
Yeah, I'm not downing the bands in the States, but there are alot more great ones in the world than just here. Wish more people would open up and realize that.

the english version is good but the russian version is just so much better and russian is an awesome language
Hmmm... TrackID now tells me it's from an album "Slot Festival" from 2007
i'm from the netherlands to but i also like the russian version more. it sounds so... i don't what it is but i like russian i think xD
It gets warmer but we can't SEE it
Missing in action, no other news
Ropes and cables were torn. We are grenades.
Over there, on the 10-th, the deal was only for 5 seconds and flashed away.
I know that I loose you once again.
Still can't understand a thing they are saying, but I still love her voice, and dig on his.
prikolno
That woman can SHOUT! Great song, anyway.
Eh, I don't know Russian either. I found this song when I was looking up music for my husband who is learning the language. I still say the song sounds better in the original language. Seems like there's more feeling to it.

I think so too, even though i dont understand the most part of it
AKA, poetry. AKA, something that takes imagination and lack of any down to earth mentality to interpret. In other words, you have to be tripped out to get it :P
Does anyone know if Slot has had three or only two different female lead singers?
dang. i wish i could buy this song from somewhere. all the downloads i could find were like 1:27 long.... ;[
@ExMyHeartOut In clip they sing it in russian!
haha we would listen to the russian version in russian class all the time haha metal instead of class work
myn moe ni, ze ;)
Dutch is too hard for anyone else to understand!!
lovely song
The original language of any song is almost always better than any translation, and in my personal opinion, Russian is a much more beautiful and flexible language than English ever can be.
I speak russian and study english, but can understand here almost nothing. I thought my english was better before hearing this song :)
I'm English and the Russian version sounds WAY better.
you're right
it sounds kidna weird in english
Even if i dont understand russian i like the original version better
But its still nice to know what the lyrics are
Wana PM me telling me where I can download their Russian stuff?
I can't find it.
allerbeste band
good instrument especially druming at the beggining, but I've heard both versions and I think the ladt should refrain from screaming (mabey the guys better at it, mabey it doesn't need screaming) 3 stars
this is a voice over in English but its still awesome
отлично
i like her outfit :)
i like this version more than the other version in english... different lyric
I got halfway through the song and then realized it was in English because I happened to look at the tab this was in... I obviously speak English and i prefer the russian version by far.
yeah changing from your own language to a different is hard. I got russian friends and its hard for them to talk to me in english, luckily i know both russian and ukrainian so i can communicate with them
I believe 3 is the number
I feel the same. I love the Russian version; however, I speak only English (sadly).
The Russian version is better. Even though I don't understand what is being said, I have a vaige idea of what is happening. (Oh, excuse my spelling errors. I'm only holiday you see.)
@BAMxITSxWIZOUT Were they born then?
This is definitely not the same one that's on "Break the Code"
It has different english lyrics and sounds different.
Anyone knows where's this from?
I can't make out the lyrics for that at all in the chorus except the word intertwine. Which does not appear here.
avada0 HEllo, are your sure your not mistaking with the original version in russian ?
watch?v=3xy1FZYRU6Y
Nope. This one is the more similar though. Apparently it's from an album "Slot Festival", but it's impossible to find.
You have number of Nookie? :D
Is so awesome this song... Buy the album Trinity ... :D
good job ! how is that done ?
what the fuck the russian version is way better then that english version...the english version looks like they arent loud enough and i cant comprehend them.
this bands tottaly awsome and they have fit singer come to england
Always.
Две войны!
Russian version is better.
This is quite good, but I have a question. Is the lead singer ethnically Russian or is she foreign?
I would rather hear the original "Their donkeys won't live"
The Russian language is beautfil and elegant language that when translated into English loses that elegance in words.
even tho they re singin in a diff lang. i love them!
