HSN is selling the Moro G Pure for $69.99 with one year of service and 1500 minutes of calling, 1500 texts and 1.5 gb. of Data with free shipping by Christmas. Cheap on some ends, but for grandma and grandpa it's not such a bad deal. I swap them out and never have any phone bill. But that's just me. I'm an old bastard on a fixed income!😺
I've had Moto G pure and Power now I got a Play. I'd say Plays 90hz screen, with slightly more powerful CPU and GPU, plus extra 2 MP depth sensing camera is still an advantage. I'd say G play is incredible for under 200 bucks. PS: I paid 155cad +tax.. haha

I'm wanting to get my parents new phones for Christmas, and since my dad prefers moto and my mom doesn't care what brand, and since they're not heavy phone users, these two became my main two options. Really is making me lean towards the Play ngl update: purchased the 2 Plays, will update on how they like it after Christmas!
@@Excalibur2 It went great! They both really enjoyed their new phones once they learned how to operate them haha. It was a pretty major upgrade since their old phones were over 5 years old, so it took a couple of weeks for them to learn how to navigate the swipe control. Definitely was a great buy on my part.

My 1st motorola phone i jus ordered moto g pure free from my carrier upgrade. Coming from a Samsung note 4 on Andriod 6. Altho camera wnt be as amazing as Note 4 n the bench marks are wayyy different, im glad i have a new phone getting in the mail within 3 business days so maybe by Wed of next week i should have it! Great review Kevin. With LG gone Moto is my go to budget phone. But they release so many phones that all look alike it's hard to tell the difference. The Pure with such a low powered chip must give epic battery life compared to the Play.
The sad thing is I used to be a huge fan of Motorola. But lately they cut corners on things like having a 720p display, having a mono speaker, 60 hertz refresh rate, and having awful cameras often with no ultra wide camera. And I get they are budget devices, but Motorola needs to evolve and give you more value for your money.
well the problem with that is Motorola will never come anywhere near the $150, with the evolution that your suggesting, besides if you want a hi resolution screen and widescreen cameras unfortunately you're going to have to pay a little more and I'd say get something like Moto g stylus and the only way you're going to get a higher refresh rate on the screen is if you go a little higher around 5 to $700 for the edge, because at the end of the day all that stuff that you prefer you're just never going to get in a budget phone let alone $150 phone at least not right now now I'd say maybe that might be possible in the near future when the price of parts go down, but you can't really get mad at Lenovo for that, there's just trying to build phones that people can afford, so I don't understand why you would expect lenovo to be able to build something with more than 720p 60hz display at $150 price point because it's just not possible to source parts that cheap unless you want inferior crap from China as if we don't already get enough of that, I say for what's on offer and $150 I'd argue that Lenovo offers a lot of that price point aside from the fact that there might be other devices on the market at the same price will slightly better specs I'll bet a year or too old and out of date version Android
That sounds like good things to me. 720, I've come to realize I can't tell most of the time, and it performs better with lower resolution to render. Same with refresh rate - I don't know if I could tell the difference unless I had 2 phones side by side past 60 fps. The only complaint I have is that I wish the speaker was front facing and had a better camera.
The best feature on the moto g play is the 2 + day battery life. 13 minutes of you talking and did you even mention that ? Also why can't you run these phones on wifi and show them both in action ? Open some apps , RUclips , Google chrome web browser,etc. If you're going to compare these phones show people what they can do not just list the specs of each phone. You spend way too much time listing specs and nothing else.
Good phone for general use. Does most of what I need. I saved money on plan and phone. Yes moto is stepping up there game. Iv had some high end phones, just left the iphone SE. Because of small screen. I'm impressed with these phone, iv got the pure.

I searched online and I found Moto G Fast and Moto G Power can catch the 5GHz wifi. The sales recommended me to buy Galaxy A02S, but I check Galaxy A02S online it is not compatible with 5GHz wifi. It just support 2.4GHz. Is that correct? Can you help check it Please?

Then, one looks at the 2020 Moto G Fast w/better GeekBench scores than both (Snapdragon 665), 16MP main camera capable of 4K video capture, 8MP ultrawide, 8MP selfie. After purchasing/experiencing a couple 2020 Moto G's had pretty high hope for the brand going into 2021 but to-date not even coming close to impressing. And the rumoured G Power (2022) ain't making it sound like we'll be any better off in 2022 neither such a shame.
Funny thing.. people THINK they get a good deal on a phone from a carrier.. BUT pay an additional $15 a month for service verse a different carrier.. so over a year that is an extra $180..$360 if you keep the phone 2 years.

im looking a budget phone i have this phone the frist phone i have last 7 years never play games just call and texting the second phone still work but i cannot use call anymore because they told me my phone is 3g you need to up grade to 4 g or 5 g im disappointed but i have no choice to look whats affordables phones i hate to pay a high price phone
the one thing to keep in mind is while the processors is better on the play the GPU on the pure as three times as powerful so considering both these processors have identical clock speeds even though the Snapdragon threads better and more efficiently gaming wise I'm willing to bet that the power VR is going to beat the adreno hand's down when it comes to gaming performance, and I back that up with the sheer fact that I'm actually able to get PSP emulation specifically vice City stories runs way better on the power VR versus the play that I used to have

moto g pure is confirmed by Motorola that will get a definite Android 12 update, meanwhile Moto G Play is yet to be confirmed, my guess the Play will not get an Android 12 update.
I really wish motorola at least put the snapdragon 450 in it or something similar to it because the helio g25 is really slow and for an extra $10 id just buy the g play its way better , faster and has a bigger battery so clearly the g power is better

It might have had something to do with how I was holding the phones, but they’re the same size.
