      @nobodyknows1015 12 дней назад

      @@jennycomelatelyno Tywin was right, Joffrey just wanted to go at her, that’s not how u should do it especially if your opponents have three dragons. Tywin said that to Joffrey only so he didn’t get involved, really what he wanted to do was get help from Dorne. After all, Dorne succeeded in killing Rhaenys the conquer and her dragon. Joffrey would’ve probably just would’ve sent thousands of men over there and probably fail in his attempt, the right choice would to a least try to invole the only one house that has experience with this kind of situation so u can at least have a chance against those formidable beasts.

    • @jennycomelately
      @jennycomelately 11 дней назад +1

      @@nobodyknows1015 Do you actually have an episode and scene to back that up or are you just writing fanfiction to white knight for your over-rated tv daddy?
      Joeffry literally never said any of that shit about sending thousands of men, he’d likely continue Robert’s plan since the entire character reason for him wanting to continue pursuing her was about him emulating Robert.
      And if that was actually tywin’s plan (and not just something you made up) to get Dorn (the most staunchly anti-Lannister and pro-targ kingdom) to kill Dany somehow?? then he’s completely downsy.
      He’d be handing two of his most bitter and powerful rivals the means and justification to unite against him.
      Plus Dorn’s success against dragons is purely based on their geography(salt mines). And luck with a scorpion bolt. A comon technology widely circulated and understood in subsequent eras. A technology he made zero effort to reimplement because he literally does not take them seriously as a threat.
      The entire point of that scene was for the third time in his life, Tywin failed to make a crazy/stupid King trust him since he’s too proud to be an effective manipulator. And that he, just like everyone else over looking the threat of ice beyond the wall, Tywin is also overlooking the threat of fire from over seas. Focusing on petty rivalaries and ambition instead of actual legitimate threats.

    The energy was on point this episode! And the dialogue this season was so fricken good! I feel like there's so much to talk about lol. Starting with Sansa. My heart absolutely breaks for her. And she's definitely a character that you have more appreciation for when you rewatch the show. The scene where Joffrey makes her look at Neds head on the spike, and the scene in this episode when Tyrion walks in on her crying. Both those scenes just make me feel like I've been punched in the gut. And I seriously can't say this enough, but Tywin is one of my favorite characters. Everything about the way he carries himself is amazing. I'll never stop saying it lol. Top tier character. It's crazy that this last few episodes, we're seeing the Starks get absolutely ripped apart. They're dying, and splitting up, and missing each other. It's so frustrating. And at the same time, we're seeing the Lannisters just keep on keeping on. Cersi and Jaime being brought back together feels so.... Unfair. But at the same time, you feel for Jaime. He's been on such a brutal journey, that you do feel some happiness for him. It's conflicting lol.

    Well season 3 and 4 are generally considered the best TV ever committed to TV by an awful lot of people. And even when it isnt as good afterwards its still pretty good, just doesnt quite have that magic of the GRRM dialogue. And you'll feel his lack of authorship as HBO went on without him. Turns out just like Matt and Trey you kinda need a genius to run these things and the world is in a dire shortage of geniuses.

    Arya said that she was 11 years old on the first season of Game of Thrones. The show mostly moves at about the pace of one year per season so keep that in mind. Maisie Williams, who portrays Arya on the show is a little older than that, she is around 16-17 at season 4.
    Bran Stark stated that he was 10 years old in the first season of Game of Thrones, which means he’'ll be ~13-14 years old in season 4. Isaac Hempstead Wright, who plays Brann, is once again a little older than the person he portrays, he was 12 at season 1.

    As mean as Tywin sometimes is to Tyrion in private, he often checks others (especially Joffrey) when they are coming at Tyrion (like at Tyrions wedding and in the small counsel meeting).
    Tywin actually has good reason to believe that Tyrion isn't his son, btw. So when Tywin's wife died giving birth to Tyrion, it was especially brutal for their family.
    Thirty+ years later and Tywin never remarried -- for someone like Tywin who values his legacy so much, that's a big deal.

    People tend to forget Sansa's plight because most folks don't like her for being a privileged brat, I guess. Plus, she isn't a "bad bitch" and doesn't fight. Sansa is underrated because even though she isn't a fighter she is learning how to play the game. As far as she's concerned she's alone with no one around to help her, so all she can do is keep a mask on to survive. A trait that doesn't seem to appeal to people. In a place where no one can be trusted and everyone lies. Even raising a fist can get you killed. But too, she saw Ned get beheaded (I'm sure she feels guilty as heck for that), she had to stare at his head when Joffrey put it on a spike, she's been humiliated and tormented by Joffrey and had to marry Tyrion. Not the worst of what any of the other Starks have had to endure but she is a kid. And every girl can't be like Arya. Especially in that kind of setting.
    Also, Arya can't be much younger than Sansa with Bran following behind Arya, right?
    Rickon looks like he's 5 or 6!

As for the ages of the Stark children, by this point in the story, about a year and a half or so after the death of John Arryn: Robb is 17, Sansa 14, Arya 12, Bran 11, Rickon 8. Note that Arya is older than Bran; in the very first episode when the family is lined up and waiting for King Robert to arrive, Arya shows up and shoves Bran to the side, taking her place next to Sansa, which means she is older than Bran.

    People are still telling reactors not to watch Season 8? Don't listen to that crap. No matter how you feel about it, if you don't watch Season 8, you don't get to experience one of the biggest collective gasp moments, simultaneously shared by old and new GOT fans, around the world, on the night that it first aired. No one has to tell you, you will know when you see it, but not if you don't watch ... now hurry up and get to Season 8! LOL 🤪

    Even season 8 is enjoyable. It just doesn't have same level of quality as the earlier seasons or even season 6 which is faster but still tons of fun. Things move faster than they should in the later seasons especially season 8, but it is still pretty damn great and many really incredible scenes and episodes.

    No spoilers, Season 8 wasn't bad in my opinion. I think that people just exaggerated because with a show as big as this, everybody wants it to end their own way. I think the ending was true to the overall theme and style of the show.

    Ramsay insisting that Theon Greyjoy forget his real name and call himself "Reek" is a very common torture/submission tactic to this day. When C.I.A and other agencies tortured and experimented on people they made them forget their real identities on purpose so that they are pliable and submissive. They made people go on transgression state, something like going back to baby state, sucking on your thumb and talk baby words cause they forgot their identities and they were no longer a threat. Hitler did the same with the Jews, he called them rats publicly, on every opportunity so that people start seeing them as rats and jewish themselves feel shame for their identity. Never forget your identity.

    I mean seasons 1-5 are the best TV series I've ever seen. Starting season 6 the writing gets worse and worse until season 8. I won't say seasons 7&8 are terrible or unwatchable, it's just that the standard was set so high in seasons 1-5 that it's noticeable. Seasons 7 & 8 are about standard TV writing wise and nothing special.

    • @DylanMarshall3
      @DylanMarshall3 16 дней назад

      All this is correct. I still fuck with Season 6 a good bit, and can tolerate 7. But man, Season 8 is a steaming pile of dog shit. This show is still worth watching for everyone. The biggest problem is how much the writers deviated from the books starting at Season 5-6.

    Theon is an interesting arch at first you dislike him much but as the seasons go on you feel bad for him, Ramsey didn't just break him he shattered his soul and smothered it.
