super sick! Drummer is hella good. Only thing that's a tad sad is, that all the whammy pitch shenanigans are tracks, but well, still very fun show.
I actually found that a lot of the filtered guitar and whammy stuff existed in the actual guitar files while I was mixing it. Still a lot of textures in the tracks but if you watch their pedalboards during an older song you’ll see quite a bit of stomp work

always wanted to know, how do these guys don't go deaf after a year of playing shows? yes, i've been to only one show and yes i was scared for my ears (amateur mixing going on here).
They use in-ear monitoring. Protects their hearing from the loudness of things like drums on stage, and means they can hear each other at a comfortable volume
they have in ears and/or ear plugs to help with that.
If you’re going to go to more shows wear ear protection. There are good ones designed specifically for concerts that still preserve the nuances of the audio.
I’m 42 now and been going to shows since high school, you’ll be glad you did.
