I've just read it yesterday.
I had to re-read those lines for about 10 times, it was so epic.
This was such a beautiful moment to me, to me these were the words of a dwarf who realized that all the gold, jewels, and wealth in the world meant nothing compared the lives of his friends, his kin, and even the lives of the men and elves, and he decided he'd give his life for every last one of them.
They are rallying to their KING !

The first time I heard this my eyes started to water and my face just cracked into a huge smile. This scene is the only one in all the middle earth movies to make my cry. (Excluding Thorin's death & funeral of course)

love the integration of the Lake Town theme at the end. iit shows that at this moment both the dwarves and men were rallying to their king
So in the first Hobbit, there's the song "Over Hill" that plays with some epic mountain backgrounds, thinking maybe a more epic-ified version of that? This one is just amazing!
First of all thank you very much !! Actually a lot of people asked me to make something about this theme and I’m already working on it. I’ll put this part in the final mashup :) but as I’m not famous enough to live from composing, I do not have a lot of time to work on it so you’ll have to wait a bit ! I’ll do my best !

@@VirgilMusic True man. the movies aren't bad. They are very faithful adaptations of the books. Of course sometimes, movie productions change some things or improve some things, but even so, the films are very faithful to the books and good.

I know that battle of the five armies is arguably the worst Hobbit movie, but the scene where Thorin's company charges out of the gate with this theme playing is probably the highlight of the entire trilogy imo
