Emerald is so pretty. Drago is a squawker He does talk. Like you said it can me squawky but it is clear he says nigh nigh, what up, Dammit, love you. He picked up dammit from me when I was working on my model railroad layout and I got really mad and said it a bunch. He only says it when he is mad just like I do. So he know its an anger word. My boy is a good eater but I'm having a hard time getting him to eat vegies. Drago dose parrot lace as i like to call it. He destroys my shirts but its ok For he makes me the best ragged looking wasteland shirts. He bites my finger like your girl is doing the only draw back is He will get the tip of my finger and nail roll it sideways and give it a good squeeze which hurts but not bad. I have tough hide so I'm Ok with it. He took time to really warm up to me. Now he loves to sit on my shoulder and snuggle. His one bad little habit is he will take the tip of his beak which he files down to a sharp point and pinches the skin on my nick never no blood I think its a play thing, soon as he does it he says what up after a say ow! He is my little buddy I love him dearly. I so enjoy your videos.
Thank you for posting! Drago does sound like a little bit of trouble with the nipping - LOL. Of course they all always are. Yes, it seems like everyone always loves their Hahn’s- So glad you enjoyed the videos, thank you for watching!
Thanks for doing this video. It appears to be a tough choice. I guess it depends also on what’s available near me and the price to some extent. But that size range is what I feel is ok for our house at this time.
Your Hahn's macaw seems very playful and cuddly here, but she is not at the top of your favorite list. How is the Golden conure different in comparison to the Hahn's macaw?
@@ParrotBliss yes I'm also interested in that comparison the 2 being close in terms of size, my guess is the hahn's is quieter than the sun conure and slightly less boisterous (making it my first choice at this point) but again that depends on the bird I guess?
@@ParrotBliss ok..ty...I really want to get something my grandchildren can play with as well as me...I have a rescue nanday conure and she bites everyone but me and sometimes me...lol..my grandchildren love my birds and do have others they play with bit on wanting a little larger bird but I want to make a right decision...all your babies love you so much...its probably heaven!
Please, tell me how better to hold as a pet, one or one pair of blue fronted amazon? I have a boy (near 4 years old ) and recent i got an 8 months old girl for him. In the last few weeks, he's become aggressive towards me. Will it be permanent or shortly? What am I supposed to do to keep him on my side? Thanks! I am very anxious and nervous about his attitude and I would like to know if he will return to me as he was before or not. What should I do? I am a poor old man who has in this world only a parrot and a few dollars a day, the vets ask me many hundreds of dollars for a little advice. Shame on them! Please can someone help me with a free advice. Thank you !

Amazing bird. Thank you so much for teaching us about Emerald.
It's my pleasure - and, she's a ham so she loves it!
