Hello Sir 👋😁 I have never juiced, this is the first time it was explained. Excellent!! Thank you so much, I'm going to start juicing! God Bless you ! Have a nice day 🌷
I've heard others in the plant based you tube world state juicing removes the fiber, it's best to eat the whole food as is. Is that true or myth? I need my fiber😊 thanks for another great video!
That is correct, but, for the six benefits I stated, juicing is great. Water doesn't have fiber either, but that's not a reason not to drink it. Also, a person like myself who literally eats 500% more fiber than the RDA, drinking juice is not going to cause a lack of fiber. So, like so many things, it depends on a person's health status, current diet, and health goals.
@amayl5191 thank you for mentioning fiber! Yes, PLEASE follow the advise of the scientists who are showing us the harms of any juicing that 1) throws away the fiber (the food for the beneficial bacteria in our large intestine) and 2) contains more than 12g of fructose which without the fiber is absorbed in our small intestine to then be turned into fat in our liver. I do not like to eat salads, so I put the vegetables and a bit of whole fruit for taste into a Vitamix as Dr. Brooke Goldner demonstrates.
@@healthyveganeating I have to say that your listed benefits are better achieved with those ingredients and water in a high -powered blender, per several studies according to Dr. Michael Greger, Dr. Brooke Goldner and others. Throwing away the fiber is counterproductive.
I was just thinking of juicing . I just purchased a juicer . This is all new to me cuz I want to stop eating animal proteins as well so it’s going to be an interesting journey for me and my husband. I’m 56 and he is 66 🙏
@@healthyveganeating thank you so much ! Your channel is very informative and inspirational. Smh but then I see people like you who look sooooo healthy and make me want to do it. I know once I do, I know my body aches , fatigue, anxiety and hypothyroidism will get much better 🙏
Well, the one point I want to make is that removing meat alone from an unhealthy diet is not going to result in good health. If you are eating meat, refined sugar, refined wheat products, a high amount of oil, and other high glycemic and high fat foods, meat is not your main problem. Being a healthy vegan is not simply a result of removing meat from your diet. It requires eating a diverse diet of healthy, high micronutrient foods, as well as responsibly supplementing. Exercise, especially weight barring, should also be part of the healthy vegan equation.

Hi Javant. I just got a Nama juicer. I have been juicing for about a week now. I dont feel that great. I guess I am detoxing. My juices are green...I have made a kale one, a carrot and a beet juice. Hoping to feel better soon. I usually drink a juice and then wait about an hour and have breakfast....maybe I need to skip that meal after juicing. Your videos are always so helpful. Thank you.

At it I want to get to 200
Great results, but be mindful that loosing weight alone will typically result in better numbers. However, there are some ways to loose weight that can cause detrimental effects long term. I would not utilize juicing and eating just fruit to become healthy. Long term, this would potentially create some vitamin deficiencies and additional health issues. And, once you stop juicing, the weight is going to come right back unless you change the way you were eating prior to juicing. So, the approach I would use is to skip the juicing / raw fruit and just change my diet to healthy, whole foods that are balanced to give me the vitamins and minerals needed ( along with proper supplements). This is how I would approach it based on what I know. I am not a healthcare provider, so please don't make changes based on what I am saying. I suggest speaking to your healthcare provider about this topic for guidance. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏾

I have all those ingredients for the juice except I have red bell peppers and strawberries instead of an orange bell pepper and raspberries. I’m sure I can use these, but wondering if it makes any difference. Probably just in the taste? I love juicing, and it healed my body. I have at least one green juice every morning. I also put in about four green apples because I like mine a little sweeter. What do you think of that? I hope it’s OK. It sure makes it taste great. I also add turmeric, ginger, cilantro, parsley, cucumber, celery, and lemon.
Thank you for watching! Many people feel that juicing is not good because of the fiber being removed and it potentially being high glycemic. I want to present a healthy way to juice in my videos and I am looking forward to sharing. Please stay tuned.

Thank you Javant for this! I really appreciate the time that you put into explaining the benefits of juicing! I've always heard conflicting information about juicing, however, I really appreciate how you explained it! Is there any way to use the pulp generally speaking from the juicing for the fiber? I usually discard the pulp myself, but I'm always looking for ways to use the pulp for the fiber content.
Thank you for the video! A clarifying question I have a bout fasting: drinking juice is not considered part of intermittent fasting because it still contains natural sugars right? Thanks in advance!
That depends on the type of fast. Some people do water fasts and others do juicing fasts. If you are doing a true fast (water) you would be breaking the fast if you consumed juice. If you do a juice fast, you could consume juice the whole time.
Hey there, I'm pretty new to the channel (LOVE IT) !! so sorry if this question has been asked and answered already... For the solids that are left over from juicing, can that used of muffins, pancakes, veggie stock or anything? May one the juice is extracted the flavor is spent? Hey thank you ❤
Absolutely, I have done several over the years. I am not big on measuring juice or foods. I would drink juice before and after my workouts, and first thing in the morning during my fasts.
Juice fasting is about fasting the body from digesting food. So, yes, you are correct that it effects blood sugar, but it still allows your digestive system to rest.
Thanks. Another question please. I've also seen something you've used that looks like a "NutriBullet" when you've made some of your sauces or cheese mixture. Anyways, do you have a nutribullet as well or what other good blenders do you recommend?
That was really useful I also juice and can see the benefits of it. What kind of bottle is that which you have the juice in? Also how long can juice be stored in the fridge before you lose the nutrients?
I have several bottles that I have saved over the years, so I am not sure where I got it. Whole produce and juiced produce looses nutrients daily, so its best to use asap. As soon as they are picked, they are loosing nutrients during transport, sitting on the grocery shelf, and in our refrigerators.
Initially, yes, because I didn't like eating whole plant foods. However, I was juicing cruciferous veggies, onions, cabbage, and other veggies, and adding an apple or two.
i never understood the logic of juicing. why waste the nutritious fiber? Whole fruit, why just fruit without fiber? specific illness might enjoy less fiber tho. juicing is wasting non-toxic advantagous nutriment? only reasond id see is specific illness with fiber or "wanting to drink 600 fruit instead of eating 40"
easy an delicious to "drink" the meal tho, i get that part, (and nice for ehlping people transition to whole food plant based, but some go obsessive with it) i prefer no jucing 55 nutriment 2200 calori 3$ canaidan without animal corpse or secretion + b12 and iodinised salt and synthetic creatine and vitamine D
@@healthyveganeating -- I, too, am curious about what @XeL_ had to say in the FIRST comment. I have NO idea what the rambling stuff in the second comment is. When you have time, might you address the issue of the wasted fiber? Thank you, you are a marvelous and charismatic spokesperson for this healthy way of eating and we keep referring friends who are interested TO YOUR CHANNEL.
I agree. I follow evidence based science showing that juicing can lead to type 2 diabetes without having the fiber to slow down the sugar spike that happens without the fiber. I used to eat fruit juice sweetened jam without any other sugars added, and juiced along with my whole food vegan diet and exercise program, until my GP doctor, Naturopathic Doctor, Registered Dietician and Certified Nutritionist told me that removing and breaking down the pulp and fiber from whole fruit and vegetables is the equivalent of drinking pop with similar negative health impacts, even if you're getting the vitamins and antioxidant benefits from the fruit and veggies. Sure enough, my blood test results proved that by moving me into prediabetes stage (I don't eat any added sugars at all in my diet, except from fruit), although my energy was super high (which I was told was from the sugar spike). I quit juicing and making smoothies and started following Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn's advice of eating whole fruits with a little bit of protein to further mitigate blood sugar spikes. My blood test results are normal now and the nut butter I have with my fruit adds to my protein intake and bigger muscles from my strength training, particularly important for me as I get older (I am a 48 year old East Asian woman).

👌🏾
I have some carrots, lime, blueberry, celery, and Ginger what benefits could this give me?
All of those foods are super health promoting, so that is a great mix. 👌🏾
I'm a big juicer. It's fabulous!!🎉❤
Thank you for watching! Many people feel that juicing is not good because of the fiber being removed and it potentially being high glycemic. I want to present a healthy way to juice in my videos and I am looking forward to sharing. Please stay tuned.
Hello Javant, thank you for taking us on this healthier path to living better.
May I ask what brand of juicer you have?
I’m using my KUVINGS REVO830 (I also use the AUTO10 and love them both. To view these juicers and receive a discount go to: shrsl.com/40gkt and use the code: HEALTHYVEGAN for 10 % Ooff. Enjoy :)
I have a couple videos showing what I do with the pulp and more coming :)
Taaaaaaste! I will definitely try this recipe. Thank you++
You are welcome!
Thank You.
You're welcome🙂
Great presentation. Question: doesn't a glass of juice break the fast?
Not if you’re doing a juice fast.
Thank you for the video! A clarifying question I have a bout fasting: drinking juice is not considered part of intermittent fasting because it still contains natural sugars right?
Thanks in advance!
It depends on the type of fast. There several different approaches to fasting, some include juice, and others don't.
Nice one
🙏🏾
Thank you so much
You're welcome
Hi if we fasting and you have a juce you do STOP the fasting right ?
That depends on the type of fast. Some people do water fasts and others do juicing fasts. If you are doing a true fast (water) you would be breaking the fast if you consumed juice. If you do a juice fast, you could consume juice the whole time.
Hey there, I'm pretty new to the channel (LOVE IT) !! so sorry if this question has been asked and answered already... For the solids that are left over from juicing, can that used of muffins, pancakes, veggie stock or anything? May one the juice is extracted the flavor is spent? Hey thank you ❤
You can use the pulp to create other dishes 👌🏾
I use to use that juicer, it was awesome. Now however, Im partial to the Nama C2. Juicer and blender in one.
Nice!
This is very helpful
Glad you appreciate it
Please, What do you do with the pulp when you’re finished juicing ‼️. Thank you
Broth, Soup, or sometimes compost.
@@healthyveganeating Thank you! Possibly freeze it to use later?
Sure, that would work too
How many oz a day would you drink on a juice fast? How have you did a juice fast?
Absolutely, I have done several over the years. I am not big on measuring juice or foods. I would drink juice before and after my workouts, and first thing in the morning during my fasts.
@@healthyveganeating thanks for the reply
Sure, every time!
Hey King goodevening I've alot of weight but I would like gain some health fat back what other healthy fats can I eat or juice ?
I don't really give personal advice for people's issues.
Thanks - great video as ever! ❤😊 But I thought that juice actually breaks a fast, because it has an effect on blood sugar (makes it rise)?
Juice fasting is about fasting the body from digesting food. So, yes, you are correct that it effects blood sugar, but it still allows your digestive system to rest.
@@healthyveganeating Gotcha! Thanks for answering. 😀 👍
You're welcome
What kind of juicers are those? Is any of them the "Nama" brand? I'm looking to get one soon & looking for some recommendations?
The juicer I use is a Kuvings REVO830... You can get it here shrsl.com/40gkt and use my code HEALTHYVEGAN for 10% off.
Thank you for this useful information@@healthyveganeating
Sure, you're welcome
I do have. a small blender! Would a juicer be better to mix with fruit instead of a blender?
Either could work
Which juicer are you using please?
Please look in the descriptions under the video and you will see a link for this juicer with my discount code should you decide to purchase.
Nice juicers!😉
Thank you!
What about fiber

@@healthyveganeating thank you 😊
Yes, excellent wow❤❤❤
🙏🏾
Omg that looks amazing
🙏🏾
What about diabetes?
I got rid of my pre diabetes by eating healthy and exercising 👌🏾
But you juiced while having it?
Initially, yes, because I didn't like eating whole plant foods. However, I was juicing cruciferous veggies, onions, cabbage, and other veggies, and adding an apple or two.
Excellent!!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😋😋😋
Thank you!
Thank you so much for all you do and share!!😘
You are so welcome!
i never understood the logic of juicing. why waste the nutritious fiber?
Whole fruit, why just fruit without fiber?
specific illness might enjoy less fiber tho.
juicing is wasting non-toxic advantagous nutriment?
only reasond id see is specific illness with fiber or "wanting to drink 600 fruit instead of eating 40"
easy an delicious to "drink" the meal tho, i get that part, (and nice for ehlping people transition to whole food plant based, but some go obsessive with it)
i prefer no jucing 55 nutriment 2200 calori 3$ canaidan without animal corpse or secretion + b12 and iodinised salt and synthetic creatine and vitamine D
🤔
That is correct about fiber, but for the six benefits I stated, juicing is great. Water doesn't have fiber either, but that's not a reason not to drink it. Also, a person like myself who literally eats 500% more fiber than the RDA, drinking juice is not going to cause a lack of fiber. So, like so many things, it depends on a person's health status, current diet, and health goals.
Benefit no. 7😅😋
😁
