One pack series I would have liked to see here is Material Energy. If you don't know what it is (even though you probably do considering knowing packs is what you do here), it is a modpack where you progress through modular rooms. Its definitely the best map based modpack series I have seen.
"Life in the woods" from Phedran was my favourite pack. Or the more technical "After Humans" from Debitor. That one was based on life in the woods. I miss the good old times :)
Tekkit Classic definitely played a big role in popularizing mods & modpacks for Minecraft. Compared to what we have today it’s obviously lacking in content, but back in 2013 Tekkit was mindblowing. I always liked the Technic SSP pack though cause I remembered it had more stuff and I like the control I have over a solo world :)
I tried RAD 2 but I was not able to keep up. At the beginning of the game, zombies have 20 hp and I do 4 hp of damage with a stone sword. I got past level 20. Zombies have over 80 hp and my iron sword does 5hp. As a result, it now takes 16 hits to kill a zombie when I only needed 5 hits at the beginning so it feels like I am regressing! I am better at RL Craft! I will give darkrpg a try. Also, great content. Thanks.

I just wanna go back and time and play technic mod packs which I could try anything I want, find new ways to produce items. I don't have any free time nowadays and I won't for a few years. I don't think anyone will even see this comment but I just wanna have a comment on this video.
I have an idea for my own morph mod. I call it the "Morphusion Mod". In this mod, you can craft an organ known as the Shapeless Gland. It is crafted via 8 items that are correlated with a mob around a Gene Absorber which is made 4 Blood Bottles, 4 Iron Ingots and an Ender Pearl. To put this gene into the player, they need to find an abandoned laboratory which has a Genetic Modifier that needs to be fixed (I'll leave the fixing up to you to interpret) Once you have the Shapeless Gland implanted, you can turn into the 1st 8 mobs that were used to craft that Gland. To obtain more mobs, you gotta kill em. Just like the Shapeshifter Mod, you can use the mobs' abilities (including modded mobs) with the inclusion of new abilities like summoning Snow Golems if snow is in your area, shoot different types of webs corresponding to what item you have in your hand (Blaze Rod = fire webs, Poison Potion = poisonous webs, etc.) And many many more Now here's where things get interesting; as the name of the mod suggests, you can fuse your morphs by shift right clicking the morph to select it. Once you have selected 2 mobs, press "enter" to fuse. You get the weaknesses of the mobs and you can't turn into overpowered bosses like the Wither Storm and such (you can become weaker bosses like the Wither or Ender Dragon). Oh yeah, you can also become modded mobs as long as said mobs aren't overpowered Now here are some examples for the fusions (and yes, they have preset name and you can rename em): Snow Golem + Blaze = Frostfire: Shoot fire and snow, fly, create a trail of either fire or snow, place down Jack o Lanterns and summon other Frostfire Golems Blaze + Enderman = Infernowarp: Unleash a small shockwave of fire when teleporting, shoot an explosive Ender Pearl, evaporate water (including rain) and pick up blocks and burn them for a bigger explosion Enderman + Golem = Void Slammer: Pick up enemies to inflict status effects similar to the Mutant Enderman, Ender Uppercut; Teleport to a mob to land an uppercut, As you can see, there are endless possibilities to the fusions. You can come up with fusions of your own

Got Java edition with pc game pass few months ago, just made some customs skins. Never understood how to get mods. Until my uncle said a few like ftb (feed the beast) now I’ve got some mods but no idea how to use them right. Good suggestions tho
out of all the modpacks presented MCEternal is the modpack i love....i still play the pack a bit enhanced with draconic evolution, environmental tech, and a few more mods
Hey! So I just wanna clarify, this is your personal opinion and ranking right? Because if not, this really isn’t correct, some of these modpacks arent even the true experience, and some of them are heavily overrated and aren’t that good, for example the origins mod which just enhances your vanilla smp experience, and that’s just one. What I would recommend is that you add some of the most famous ftb or technic ones, like ftb stone block 2 or attack of the b team, those are very famous.
Yes, of course all lists like this are heavily influenced by opinion, everyone will have their own ratings, this is just for those who come to me for their recommendations, my list will be different to other peoples personal picks I agree. Origins is a mod, although there's some good modpacks featuring it I totally agree!

Fabric or Forge mods? Yeah, its easier to get a modpack for beginners but manually installing mods is nicer for a more custom experience sometimes.
