The advantages of these are that you don't have to be connected to the bike to power them, meaning you can stay warm even when you're not riding - they're also intended for other outdoor activities. Separate batteries also means being able to change the temperature on each individual item. I see what you mean by them having a limited lifetime in a sense, but in the written review I make the point that these batteries can be fully recharged up to 500 times before needing to be replaced.
@@RiderUK20 Connecting to the bike battery ad recharging in same time while riding and independent heat while being off is best solution. really why should one waste battery while bike provide free electricity?
@@RiderUK20 Toi have a choice is best. Integration of the heating through the gear(protective clothing) to the bike battery and also all of those have their own energy supply. Maybe one can not ride so long, but if it happen and during day the battery is low you have no heat in the gear. But having the option to recharge and use in same time the bike battery is great right? I think manufacturers should not exclude those basic facts and create better practical products not only trend motivated.
Isnt integrated system gloves to vest or jacket to pants to bike battery better? Those are many batteries and last limited time.

That's a valid point. Perhaps a comparison video between the two would be interesting 🤔
