2 weeks of daily use and they're still going strong, temperature in my town has dropped further but my hands are remaining warm, I'd still recommend these for cold morning commutes!
I have a pair of heated gloves. Mine are not to heat my hands. They are to stop my hands from getting cold. Rst I thought they were far too expensive. However, after using them. Game changer. Jon&Denise 🧙♂️🦉
Hey dude - thanks for watching. Do you have a link to them? Wouldn't mind trying a set of heated grips. Was looking at the Oxford ones recently but open to trying anything that makes life more comfortable 😅
Thanks! They seem pretty solid as far as keeping water out - I havnt tested then in heavy rain yet, but they were fine in light rain. I'll test heavy rain soon and find out 😅
Having just rode home in pretty heavy rain I'd say they're resistant, not so much waterproof, could feel them getting damp inside after a 30 minute ride,
I still have not done electric stuff. Heated grips on my Concours and I would not ride the W800 below 50 degrees. Thanks for the look into electric gloves. My hands were toasty just watching this video!
It was a complete knee jerk reaction to the weather, I can't say I ever planned to get heated clothing, but now I've opened pandoras box, I've been looking at all sorts of heated jackets, socks etc 🤣
Yes Have some too ,Seem Ok for the One Hour Commute (Mine deo lose power if left connected But okj if I take the Battery Pack out when I get to work, ) Its been to hot to ware them lately though ;0)
I've heard other people say about them discharging if left plugged in, I'm in the habit of disconnecting them when not in use now. I havbt used mine for a while for the same reason, hasn't been cold enough to warrant them. Cheers mate!
@@mattyhempkin1875 lovely looking bike, but I think with harleys the price tags are huge just because it has a harley badge on it, if I was ever going to get a bike that sort of American style I think I'd go with a suzuki boulevard. Ideally looking to get an mt09 early next year though
@@mattyhempkin1875 I do find them more attractive, but I certainly wouldn't say I dislike cruiser types, I'd love one for more chilled long distance rides
Hey bud! Firstly thank you for watching! They're still going strong for me, I would just reinforce the point they are deffo not motorcycle gloves, so if you do have an 'off' they wont offer a lot of protection, but if you're like me and ride fairly reserved through winter it's not so much of a worry, I find the cold in my hands is more of a risk of me having an accident, double edged sword I guess! Ride Safe mate!
I havnt actually timed it, as I usually stick them on charge when I go to bed, next time I use them I'll check how long it takes to recharge them though dude
got a pair and they work well, many thanks, about 5 hours charging from flat, all in the little instruction leaflet. got just over 2 hours on high, more than enough to go to work and back. even medium is fine with my handlebar mitts. again thanks for the goo review. £30.99 well spent@@thelimeyrider
@@thelimeyrider also because of you I ride in the rain now too. I’m not scared anymore and I learn little changes that help. Once I saw how you did it I was like okay I got to just do it. Thank you for this review, I've just ordered one 👌🏾
@Kwasimotor Hi, thanks for checking it out! I had mine on yesterday again - still going strong 😁

I can't believe what a difference having the gloves make, I regret not getting any sooner! Cheers for watching 🙂
My cheapo £12 ebay heated grips (wrap around) have so far lasted 2 years and worked just fine.

I got the similar ones but they heat the both sides 2 weeks ago and they are great
Aye, gleaming bit of kit!
Nice video for the time of year! We've had a few rainy days lately down south, so, do you think these decently waterproof?
Thanks! They seem pretty solid as far as keeping water out - I havnt tested then in heavy rain yet, but they were fine in light rain. I'll test heavy rain soon and find out 😅

@@thelimeyrider Ta, good to know! Revit have an alternative but that’s hundreds of pounds. Mental.
will definitely give them a go. thanks
They're still doing a good job, definitely worth a try, worst case scenario you could send them back I suppose! 😁

Good video, at that price I will look into them. thanks for sharing.
Mine are holding up well still, I keep expecting them to suddenly stop working but so far so good!
Would you ever go for a harley iron 833 sportster 1200

Definetley worth a punt and would compliment the heated grips!
I think with both running you may have some sweaty hands bud, 😅
@@thelimeyrider Suppose so but up here in Scotland it gets bloody cold lol

@thelimeyrider if the temperature is in double figures here it's classed as summer 🤣🤣🤣

Down to £39.99 now, good video, cheers.
Ah mega, even more of a bargain haha, cheers for watching mate!

I naturally talk way too fast and often forget to slow it down when recording
Didn’t mean to be rude😃👍
@@hectorshouse7348 haha, no offence taken, aware I do it, need to work on it 😅
They are probably snowmobile gloves.
Yea I was thinking something like that, I'm almost certain they're not made for bikes, but seem to hold up well enough!
I'm sure you're a really smart and likable guy. But if the purpose of a review is to impart information - I couldn't understand a word you said.
@vigt548 yea - I get told a lot I speak way top fast, I do try slow down when recording but sometimes forget, my bad! Thanks for watching anyway!
