For LED's instead of using the side marker light plug you will connect at your headlight assemblies harness plug to the wires shown in this article: support.f150leds.com/en/articles/5520946-installing-raptor-lights-or-side-vent-lighting-on-a-2021-f150-with-factory-led-headlights
We would love to but unfortunately we have not been able to get a 21 with stock LED's! We do have a help article explaining the difference for LED trim's though! support.f150leds.com/en/articles/5520946-installing-raptor-lights-or-side-vent-lighting-on-a-2021-f150-with-factory-led-headlights
Just below the lights you installed on the grill there are factory openings that looks like you could make a light that could just snap into that space which would look much nicer in my option I’d rather see you come out with a light fitted for that space that just clips in. It would give you just a little bit bigger of a light and possibly make it look more factory installed.
The wiring schematic provided for the models up to ‘23 with factory LED headlamps shows a different color wire for the drivers-side DRL than my ‘24 STX. Your schematic says Blue/Grey. The only blue wire on the ‘24 is Blue/Green. Ground is still Black/Yellow. Please advise. Thanks!
Hey IPSteve! We can certainly get this sorted for you, can you please message our support team directly and let us know the model/trim of your truck? Thank you for your support! www.f150leds.com/pages/contact-us
We zip tied them together in a tight bundle then zip tied the bundle to a plastic piece next to the washer fluid reservoir where the wires are at no risk of being melted by any hot surfaces!
I have a 2022 XLT. I also have the side vent lights from F-150 LED’s installed. By the way, I absolutely love them. Can I splice into the same side marker wires twice? Once for the side vent lights and one for the grill lights.
Hey @TexXxaSMaDMaN. ! Thank you for your support, we are glad to hear you are enjoying them! Yes you can indeed draw power from the same source for both of these kits. Please let us know how we serve you further, thank you again for your support!
Did your 2022xlt come with LEDS?.. if so I thought the instructions said that if the vehicle came with factory LED’s you were to splice into the headlight assembly.
I’m planning to install this on my 23 tremor. But was also wondering if you guys thought of having an orange/amber accent light for tremor grills? To replace the tremor-specific orange accent on the grill from factory
Hey Hunter, thanks for your support! You can use the following guide to find the color wire you need for attaching your raptor kit to your OEM LED headlights! Thank you again for your support! These are waterproof! As with anything, a small percentage of our products have experienced failure due to water exposure but we stand by our products and always replace any defective products!
Little late to this thread but I have to agree (for now) with F150LEDS comment. I purchased a set about a year ago. About a few weeks ago, the right most LED bar was not fully lit. F150LEDs quickly sent me a replacement and I performed a reinstall. This past weekend, the middle LED bar had a similar failure. A quick email to support and a new LED bar is being shipped as I write this comment. I suspect after looking closely at the failed LED bar that the wire entry at the rear is a weakness for possible water entry. The wire itself was not sealed into the LED bar because it was pulled back with the hole and individual wires exposed. Perhaps adding a glue gun bead (or another sealant) around the wire entry will prevent water entry into the LED bar. Just my observation from looking at the failed lights. Not sure how long they will stand by their products though… 🤷♂️
Hey Kenny! Just to confirm, are you asking about OEM 'upfitter' switches? If so you can simply ground the black wire to a bolt in the frame and use the easy wire connector to attach to red wire to the AUX/upfitter wire of your choice. Please reach out to us directly and we cna help you through each step! www.f150leds.com/pages/contact-us Thanks again, we look foward to serving you soon!
Hey there! Yes, the overall process is exactly the same. Please reach out to our support team if you run into any issues! We would love some pics after your install! Thanks for your support! www.f150leds.com/pages/contact-us
You should anticipate having to center them yourselves, but we've had tons of great reviews and little to no customers seem to have issues centering their lights!
Hey Alex! No problem, with LED headlights you will connect as shown in the instruction guide below. support.f150leds.com/en/articles/5520946-installing-raptor-lights-or-side-vent-lighting-on-a-2021-f150-with-factory-led-headlights Thanks Alex, we look foward to serving you further!
Very similar, except instead of using the sidemarker you will be wiring into the headlight harness. A wire diagram and colors for ground and power can be found here: support.f150leds.com/en/articles/5520946-installing-raptor-lights-or-side-vent-lighting-on-a-2021-f150-with-factory-led-headlights
I bought the raptor grille and when I leave my lights on auto setting the orange lights never turn off. I spliced them to my fog lights since I have a lariat sport so the wiring is different. Any tips ?
Hey Hunter! Try wiring them as this guide shows, it should resolve everything for you! Thanks for your support! support.f150leds.com/en/articles/5520946-installing-raptor-lights-or-side-vent-lighting-on-a-2021-f150-with-factory-led-headlights
Hey fjimmel! Yes the installation is very similar! We actually have an installation video on a F250 that we will link below. Thanks for your support, we look foward to serving you soon! ruclips.net/video/dC6F1oPg1AA/видео.html
Thanks Michael, as I'm sure you know, the 21 F150's have a ton of variation! We chose this XLT model to serve the largest segment we could, but we offer full support for any other trim packages through our spectacular customer support team! Should you have any questions you can see options of how to message them here: www.f150leds.com/pages/contact-us
Hey there! was that a guess at what could happen or did that happen to you? If so that is certainly not common, but your recommendation about glue can definitely work as well! Please let us know how we can serve you further!
I have a 2021 XLT with the LED headlights, does this wire in the same way to the front sidemarker socket?
For LED's instead of using the side marker light plug you will connect at your headlight assemblies harness plug to the wires shown in this article: support.f150leds.com/en/articles/5520946-installing-raptor-lights-or-side-vent-lighting-on-a-2021-f150-with-factory-led-headlights
could you post video of how to wire for factory trims with led
Please make a video for those trims with leds. That would bring more customers
Wish I would have known this was the halo one before I took my stuff apart. There’s instructions for the LED aren’t clear

where did you hide the wires across the top of the engine bay?
We zip tied them together in a tight bundle then zip tied the bundle to a plastic piece next to the washer fluid reservoir where the wires are at no risk of being melted by any hot surfaces!
Y'all should just supply a piggyback plug instead of that splice clip. Was excited till I saw that...
Agreed, splice connectors are the best way to turn factory quality electrical systems into a dumpster fire...
Those splicers are notorious for failing. A piggyback harness is needed here for sure.

That's awesome, we look forward to serving you soon! They will look great on your Tremor. Thank you for the suggestion for the accent grill lighting.
I suspect install on an F150 Ranger or F150 Tremor that has Aux switches really easy !
Hey @Marc, yes having OEM AUX switches aren't necessary but can make things even easier! We look foward to serving you, let us know how we can help!
I have a lariat sport with the big ass computer on the headlights. How do I wire these or a grille to a lariat ?

Are these waterproof? Couple reviews saying they broke after washing their car or it rained and they broke.

I got a 4 marker light kit for my 23 Tundra just to do something different, but gonna run it to my fuse box instead.

Does each grill have a special recessed location for mounting? So that everything is centered properly or do we have to center them?
You should anticipate having to center them yourselves, but we've had tons of great reviews and little to no customers seem to have issues centering their lights!
How to install this on 23 platinum , there is no bulbs like that , only LED… confused. Any manual ?
Hey Alex! No problem, with LED headlights you will connect as shown in the instruction guide below.

Watching the video this should work with an F 350 SD. Have you ever tried it.

please make these with white lights
They come in white
Where did you get those quick splice connector?
You can typically get them at any hardware store, but they come included with any of our kits that require you to splice!
Do this work with a 2021 F150 Tremor?
Tremor comes with upfitter switches. Can you use one of those switches for this install?
These will work with the 21 tremor! There are several reviews of tremor owners with photos and they look great!
The wiring of any XLT High or better F150 is going to be completely different than that in this video.
Thanks Michael, as I'm sure you know, the 21 F150's have a ton of variation! Does anyone have experience installing these in cold temperatures? -10 C?
Will this work on an 02 xlt
Yes! Our grill lights are universal!
I got a 21 F150 Xlt.. will this fit?
Hey Diana! Absolutely, these will work great on your 21 XLT! Thanks for your support, we look foward to serving you soon!
1 month and that 3m Tape is hanging. Super glue or remove grill and screw it in.
Hey there! was that a guess at what could happen or did that happen to you? If so that is certainly not common, but your recommendation about glue can definitely work as well! Please let us know how we can serve you further!
That's pretty awesome. Need to get my hands on some of this stuff and show it on my channel. Pretty rad. 🤘
