I love watching these painting videos. They're simple and easy to follow, and inspire me to improve my own painting. I'm really looking forward to seeing these characters in action!
We were on vacation so sorry about not contributing to the campaign:)! So happy your beloved Orks were voted highest!!!! Those bestiarum figs were AWESOME!!!! You make painting look so easy and I think thats GREAT! Love what your doing Buddy!!!!!
It may sound odd, typically because we associate Knights with chevaliers riding into combat and, historically speaking, women didn't typically engage in combat (there are notable exceptions including at least one saint). But yes, the feminine of "Sir" in regards to Knighthood is "Dame", although there's a lot of Fantasy, including the typically decently-researched 'A Song of Ice and Fire' (Game of Thrones) that just default to "Ser" as a unisex term.
I used rattle can grey primer from Walmart. The cheap stuff. Then I did a drybrush of apple barrel antique parchment. It is almost white but gives a warm hue.
what are those army builder paints? i know only the army painter paints hahaha, really enjoy this kind of videos, since my painting skills are of a 5 year only and my hands don´t help much, speed paints and getting this painted fast and good enough for playing( not critizing your paintjobs, but mine ) , are a blessing. Have a great week mate pd: what are the essential speedpaints to have and paint most fantasy and medieval stuff? i have all of the vallejo ones but more complimentary ones would be great, i´m not good at painting nor color schemes though, many thanks
Doing the fantasy and medieval stuff start with this. 2 different brown. Leather and darker leather. A khaki or bone color. Skin color, I use crusader skin mostly. A black and then metallics. That should get you through 80% of fantasy models. Then whatever uniform or heraldry colors you want to do.

It's so rare for me to see a painting video that actually holds my attention because you keep it simple but effective. Thanks Fitz.
They look amazing.

A female knight is referred to as Dame (name) rather than Sir.
Today I Learned!

Love the underpainting! How did you approach the undercoat to set up the speed paints?
