It is clear that Justin has spent quite a bit of time as a flight instructor. His calm and coolness while providing quality instruction is something to look up to.
I fly this plane in x-plane, and it's my favorite by a long-shot because of the visibility and simple instrumentation. I realize that I am in a sim, but the handling is incredible, and I understand that they did a great job emulating it. Not the best looking plane, but a small price to pay for a 7-passenger jet at $2m.
@@thelegleg1 Well for lakes and stuff you'd be high enough to glide if you have engine failure, and with oceans I doubt you're flying over one in a vision jet
The airport we were flying at was a 1430m (4692ft) runway and we were airborne just under 2/3 of the way down. There were only 3 of us onboard though and we weren't fully fuelled. I haven't seen performance charts for MTOW take-off roll but I feel the sweet spot for this aircraft is 3-4 people onboard and not too much extra weight. For single pilot IFR though, this would be a lot of fun, a great business travel tool.

Great video Stef! I bet it was an incredible experience to log your first jet hours! The ST22T is my somewhat realistic dream plane... The vision jet is the pipe dream! Would be incredible to get up and over some weather, and not have to worry about carrying oxygen.
Yeah a real treat to fly. You're right it would be nice to have the option to get over some weather cruising up to 31K in the SF50. If you're looking at an SR22T though that would get you fairly high too but yes with oxygen of course. Or you sit where I do, around 10-15K with oxygen, which is still good 95% of the time.
Get Cirrus to sponsor your RTW adventure with one of those babies, Stef. 😀👍 Never ceases to amaze how much the tech involved helps pilots have a far less stressful flying experience in jets rather than prop aircraft. As long as one learns to stay ahead of the aircraft!
Yeah even if you forget turbine vs piston, any aircraft with a FADEC control takes workload away from the pilot. It's an expensive toy, but flies well. And not sure about that sponsorship, but Cirrus if you're reading this I'm happy to talk... 😂

Hey Stef great video, that must have been REALLY fun to fly. That aircraft has just been sold to a corporate airline at Bankstown “FalconAir” and will have an Australian registration in the upcoming months.
That plane (Cirrus Jet G2) has got to be at the pinnacle of currently available GA aircraft. So, so sweet. I envy you. :) (BTW, I think I have now watched all of your vlogs, and have subscribed of course)
As always Stef, awesome video, "whats it like to fly a vision jet", I would love to know "whats it like to have a spare $1.96M" - wow, but I guess you get what you pay for, gotta dream high! Keep safe!
Haha yes, that's what it was, a respectful bow at the end of a flight. We can't shake hands any more so that'll probably have to do in future flight reviews as well.
Your videos just keep getting better! In the future, like after covid 19 and stuff, can yiu record some videos where we can see the instruments as you use them. Kind of like aviation 101
I do show avionics in other videos. In this one I was restricted to one camera though so couldn't get as much footage of the cockpit. Here's an example, if you're interested in the cockpit layout and instrumentation side of things: ruclips.net/video/y6qoZlFvZuA/видео.html
It is now going to be based at Bankstown as it has been bought by a corporate airline their. And yes I got to see it up close at Bankstown too and it looks very nice.

Stef, my flight school at Bankstown, which you went to as well, BFS, actually owns n755ds, it is currently at Ballina and will soon be delivered for the final time to bfs.
That was a fun flight, what a well engineered plane. I wanted to mention that aviation 101 has a series on preventing low speed stalls on take offs and landing which are responsible for many fatalities. They are working to educate pilots on how to prevent or minimize these situations because the minimum speed criteria and instruction is generally not covered in normal training. Aviation 101 also has a downloadable guide fro pilot education. You might want to give it a go . Cheers, Rik Spector
Stefan, thx for new video. So, how noise it’s inside? Tell your minuses , because it’s lots of positive feedbacks and nobody writing nothing about minuses.
Flying private is only a luxury if you are safe. As commercial flight prices continue to rise without increasing their safety standards, flying in a private jet seems less unrealistic. Regardless of whether you’re looking to impress clients or go on vacation, safety should always be the number one concern. Flying without fear is certainly worth an investment.
I haven't flown one, but I think the Vision G2 is a fantastic aircraft, to say the very least. What did you say the ceiling FL on the G2 was again please Stef?
Stefan-What a great job! Had to be really exciting. One question that's been bothering me: Why doesn't the hot jet exhaust from the Williams jet harm the top of the fuselage? Thanks-All your videos are great!
That would be a great aircraft to add to you “Fleet”. It is definitely a great jet plane for the money. I wonder what the sales volume is on this bad boy.
Haha, if I add it to the fleet I might be removed from the family! I know at the time we recorded this when the jet first arrived in Australia they'd already sold quite a few. They have back orders in the years rather than months from what I've been told.
It is clear that Justin has spent quite a bit of time as a flight instructor. His calm and coolness while providing quality instruction is something to look up to.
I love that demo pilot. So calm and reassuring. When I buy my Vision Jet (yeah, right), I’m definitely going to schedule some time with him!
