Dated response I know, but it’s typically an iconic design element and even if final fantasy X was one of the more good looking ps2 games, it still had some blocky’ness to it. Plus the hook like design could be part of the sea like centricity with how they use water in many ways like a sport, traversal that most games at the time didn’t do much with traveling or even fighting underwater. The hook like shape could also serve a practice use similar to how harpoons and other sea based blades tend to have like hooking onto objects if one say got thrown into turbulent like waters and needed to latch onto something like a rock or debris. Which could also be a slight reference for the more offense ends like catching someone’s weapon in a rather awkward hole to allow the ability to disarm someone or restrict them from being able to fight properly. Its most likely just the cool factor still at the end of the day, to help them stand out by not wielding very generic weaponry and tools that won’t give you an idea of what kind of person they be. And nothing better says your some speedy light on your toes fighter, then light weight, unrestrictive equipment that can be used more for quick strikes you can do dozens of times and often use more as a prop to setup other attacks, then only relying on the blade itself.
@@ДАРТАНЬЯН-з2щ The ones that melt steel aren’t fueled with gas ;) you need a whole other setup for that which will cost 100x more then my current furnace
Dear PressTube. I love your work. I have a problem that maybe you could help with? There is a large playground in our town where there is a spring rocker in the shape of a car. Unfortunately, the steering wheel was destroyed by the children. On my own initiative, I rebuilt the steering wheel out of wood, but it was destroyed again. Then I 3D printed a full plastic one, but it was destroyed again. Then I filled a hollow steering wheel with concrete, but it was destroyed again. The only option I can see is to make it completely out of metal. But unfortunately I don't have the technology to cast metal. Is that something you could help to make?
If you're build something out of wood you need to pay attention to grain direction, if you make a wooden steering wheel out of a single piece it would inevitably have weak points as at least two parts of the wheel would go against the grain. Concrete has little tensile strength by itself so if you just pour it in a mold it will crack easily. Metals are good thermal conductors so if you make if a solid piece of metal it will get unconfortably cold in winter and could get dangerously hot in summer to the point of causing skin burns. Your best choice might be to shape a steel rebar to form a frame for the wheel to then encase in concrete and paint it using a good quality white outdoors paint to reduce thermal absorption.
Talk about a blast from the past, one of my favorite weapons in Final Fantasy X

Could you cast things FROM IRON OR STEEL?
Beautiful as always
Cheers.
If you preheat the mold and make hole for air to escape. There will be very small impurities on surface
What I think???I'll be expecting one in my mail soon...n do include kratos's weapons as well

It’s alive!
I always wondered why they'd shape a sword like that? What's the purpose... maybe makes it lighter? Or just looks cool.
In Final Fantasy: the Rule of Cool reigns supreme.

It's a fish hook turned sword..
Polineasion influences all throughout the game. It's most definitely a culture reference thing
I thought you were going to play Thunderstruck for a moment at the end
It look amazing
Why did you put pewter in with the brass casings? Was that just a weird flex move?
It looks cool but, there's 1 problem The handle is too small to hold,I think it needs a bigger and good griped handle to grab.😊
That is good work
Dodging 200 lighting strikes 💀 ☠️ 💀
How much do you want for this Tidus Longsword?I will definitely buy it!
Sorry, not for sale :)
How much would it cost to get a copy of that sword made?
Pretty awesome
Thanks!
impresionante!!! genio!
Have you made Kratos's axe from God of War?
No leather bound grip or test strikes? Sadge.
I liked it but I just wish it was longer it’s to small it’s like the size of a short sword his sword wax like a good 4 feet
What alloy did you use?
Buster sword next please 😊
