I am so greatful for this video. It led me right to what I needed to save my battery.
This helped me solve my boot issue as quick boot disable function was not available for me and usb connection wasn't getting established unless the player was completely shut down each time.

@@yucel1cinar benzer model teyp bende de var. Kontak kapattın arabayı kilitledin gittin, geldin kontak açtın teyp direkt hiç kapatılmamış gibi açılıyordu. Aküden yiyeceğini düşündüm. Bu videoda yaptığı işlemi izleyerek kontak arabadan çıktıktan sonra tamamen kapanabilmesini sağladım.

This is great information. So I have a question for you. I recently installed the radio and had the power issue you described. Unfortunately, I didn’t see your video first and attempted a factory restore. No the radio seems to be stuck in a boot cycle with the screen displaying “Android is starting....”. Would you have any suggestions on how to get the radio to complete the reboot?
Do we need to switch off the music info screen system everytime when we turn off the car ignition or leave the system on?

I did the same exact steps i have my unit fitted in a golf mk5 but the screen wouldnt turn off at all. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

@@nasimahmed3356 i made sure that the canbus is plugged in properly and the issue was that the screen came with an extra cable that had to be plugged in to another cable, i just unplugged them and it worked. Try to plug or unplug some cables until it works that was my method 😅

hi, your video is the only one that has same menu and settings as mine. is there a way to change the sleep time, because I don't want to wait for my head unit to reboot everytime I have 3-5mins short stops (eg. to refuel the petrol)

Now I am only wondering how I fix the issue of radio always thinking the headlights are on when I start the car because it sets the screen brightness into night mode where it’s too dim in the daytime. Any ideas?

I have a different problem. New EKIY T7 in a Venza 2010. When I turn the car on (not the engine) the unit is working. But when I turn the engine the unit powers off. Do you know what the issue might be?
So I did this, the codes were right, but after doing deep Sleep, it still consumes 500mA, do you think the radio is defective?
I am able to access the “Engineering test debugging” but I am unable to select the “direct shutdown mode”. It only allows me to select between “user mode” and “direct sleep mode” please help.
I've just installed a EKIY T7 on my 2010 Venza. But.... When I turn the car on (not the engine) the unit is working. But when I hit the ignition the unit powers off. Do you know what the issue might be?
After I saw the problem I disconnected everything but the power cable (second harness with RCA, 4g, GPS, etc.), and the problem remains.

If this doesn't work and you don't need your canbus, you can always remove the canbus or check if there is a splitter that connects to the unit and to the canbus. If its from unit to canbus to power then its fine but not both canbus and head unit
how do we amend the user defined time, i want mine to shut down after 1 hour, we had this option on the older units, thanks
I don't know if you have found your solution, I'm looking for I, too. I want my AA to still running for at least 30 mins. it's such a hassle to wait for the AA to boot up after 5 mins petrol refuel 😂😂

There is no front cam and AUX option in this model. Even there is no option to connect additional mic you have bear with the front mic on the stereo.

In settings menu, go to “factory settings”- pass is “8888”-
Then, search for the box that says “key light settings” (it’s on right side, 3rd down from top)
In there you’ll have the option to set the colors of the LEDs in the buttons to be whatever you wish

Its difficult to tell without knowing the model. Also their are thousands of models too makes it more difficult. Many times vendor/supplier also change it.
Mostly default passwords are : 8888, 0000, 1234, 9999 , 123456, 00000 etc. But difficult to guess in your case.

I have put a switch on the red wire (connect the yellow wire normally because of the saved settings like clock or saved rf) and now every time i want to turn the device on i have to press the switch (which i dont mind) and every time i leave the car i put the switch off. It doesnt bother me to do it, at least im not worried any more about having drained battery because of my radio.

How to display battery status
Battery is connected through your car. It will be always full, if your car's battery is charged.
You can also check the battery status under settings, or install battery android apps from google playstore to check battery status.
