- Can I beat a Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in Scarlet and Violet using only Ghost types?
Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
Hardcore Rules:
No items in battle (only held)
No overleveling past the next gym leader
Viewer Rules:
Nickname all Pokemon

First time seeing Cheese String Mascot AKA Gholdengo in action so that cool too
I 100% could have gotten both Pokémon, however I know how good Annihilape is and wanted to give the other Pokémon a chance to shine so opted to not use him until I would have to and thankfully the rest of the team carried through well so I never was forced into it

I decided to get Gengar later as it’s stats are pretty solid, felt a bit too op having one before any other trainers have fully evolved mons

U Failed bc ur haunter went over level cap [in the video it shows level cap 35] when ur in a battle it shows [haunter level 36?] 11:10
That was just a mistake on my part, because that Nemona battle is right after the gym I forgot to update the overlay until part way through the battle, after Larry it hops up to lvl42 so they’re fine to use there

Lol that’s funny, to be fair I think if you have a decent physical attacker that isn’t weak to ghost or electric she isn’t too hard, main issue is that Misdreavus is actually really strong for that point in the game and it’s fast too so can really mess you up if you lose ground

ik battlebond was nerfed cuz technically it was a mega and they dont have that rn, but they may change that in the future if they do add megas. Also does its new battle battle ability work like a moxie, cuz if it does I didn’t know that
