FNAC cannot differentiate Follicular adenoma from follicular carcinoma(i.e. benign and malignant follicular neoplasms)
The needle that is used for FNAC is 25-27 gauge.

I'm in 2nd year of MBBS currently and the pathology teachers in my college are so rude towards us that it's heartbreaking. I loved pathology towards the beginning but when the teachers ridiculed us for not being able to recall one point it started to hamper my mental health terribly. To top it off, I'm an introvert staying a state away from my home so my only friend here is my girlfriend. Can't believe that somebody who initially put her heart and soul into pathology started to grow a phobia of the subject solely because of the faculty members. And it is not just me. Even our seniors have developed a phobia of such an important branch. I so wish we got a teacher half as nice as your sister is. It could have been the push we needed to keep falling for the subject rather than pushing it away because it's a branch we need to know for every clinical subject and even research for that matter. I know this was a long and elaborate rant but I just cannot help myself. Thank you so much for this video. Seeing how nice she is shoved my prejudice and stereotype away.

Hey, how do you guys deal with mental or physical issues. For me whenever I fall ill I just can't study for 2-3 days & usually I am falling sick every 2 or 3 months and mental issues are a forever problem. If I analyse, I am mentally troubled for atleast 10 days in a month and just don't get the point of studying then.

The main thing about government colleges is that , abg won’t work half of the time and they don’t have enough investigations for medicine branch and all , like some investigations . That too in Tamil Nadu . Hailing from Cmc , I’ve heard a lot from my PG’s who did internship in government colleges and . The management where if the patient can walk then they have to discharge the patient without fully recovering , and the way they take culture and all so unsterilely is a big question
