We live in a culture of lying and covering ones own tracks. That is natural for power to go off on someone and then making it fatal enough that they have to come up with another story that always sounds ill rational.

My question is HOW can the off-duty officer say that he was in fear for his life if the black man was SHOT IN HIS BACK with multi gun shots by the off- duty officer. That is a clear indication that there was NO THREAT if the victims BACK was shot as if he was fleeing away in order to not cause any threat to the shooter. This appears to be an angered off-duty cop who shot a man in cold blood who was crossing the street in front of his vehicle.
There was NO Gun shot thru the windshield. The Lady witness tried to stop his bleeding and no Officers assisted her. FOUL AF!!!
We have a witness a white witness and they want to just ignore the other witness statements who physically saw him hit him with his truck this is why we should not be funding police

This man absolutely DID NOT run into traffic and attempt to jump onto a moving truck.
And even if he did he was unarmed and there is no reason for a person in a vehicle with a gun to feel threatened and need to kill him. The whole story is ridiculous the cop deserves to be in jail for premeditated murder and the chief deserves to go to jail as an accomplice after the fact just like any of us as regular citizen if we tried to help out a murderer and cover up for him

That is exactly what I notice. The off-duty officer was on the phone trying to articulate his side of the story. We saw this same scenario with the mistaken taser case. The officer was crying and being comforted by fellow officers but none of them sought medical help or rendered first aid to the victim.
If the Pedestrian wasn't hit...why did he say he jumped on his car and then back pedal and say he didn't hit him? Either way "IF" the officer felt threatened enough to use deadly force, why didn't he just drive away instead of exiting his vehicle? He clearly could have just driven away from a pedestrian and deescalated the situation completely

In fact, if it were true, that would mean the pedestrian were suicidal. The lady that rendered aid to the victim claims that no one else even attempted to check on or call for emergency response until moments after it was to late. She said the cop hit the man and then got out of the truck and shot him.

She says all the deputies were standing around doing nothing while she was trying to save him, she also said he didn’t even try to help the man when it happened, he was too busy trying to call his boss at the sheriffs office. She said he didn’t jump on the vehicle, he was hit by the vehicle and then the cop got out and shot him… sketch af.
Police officers are trained not to help anyone they shoot. They want them dead so they can’t testify in court. It’s also a good way to keep them from suing.

I respect that the lady was helping the man that got shot. But the driver had already check to see if he was alive, he reported that the man was "Gone" because he was not breathing.
The other problem I have with her statement is "The truck NEVER hit the man". The Black Box, the one witness statement they have on Body Cam, the truck had NO Front-end damage and there is no report of the man having injuries consistent with being hit by a huge truck.
The truck was stopped when the man jumped on the hood, that is why there is no front-end damage and the Black Box shows NO Collision...NO Evidence IS Evidence.

However several had said he was the aggressor so I hope we get the truth. police routinely escalate situations so it’s very hard to take his word or his wife’s word for it as neither administered first aid which seems sorta required or at least the right thing to do being trained.
She's trying to get a jump on painting a mental picture (which is suspicious). Saying the truck didn't hit anything implies that the guy was just violent and ripped the windshield wiper off, and that the other guy was just fearing for his life (typical cop BS). Funny how she has no problem trying to make the victim the aggressor with an ongoing federal investigation. It's suspicious because if she is on the side of law, and wants actual justice (despite her opinion of the matter), you should have no comment on the case whatsoever.

The shooters excuse is that he was beating on the windshield but even if that is true why not fire through the windshield if you were so scared for the safety of yourself and your family.......or better yet, why not drive off?? If this guy is not arrested, prosecuted, and given a life sentence then this will be more confirmation that there is no such thing as "equal justice".
I worked thru college as a first responder and we all know each other like people that basically live together while working do, I'm convinced that every Commanding Officer in the country has a mental list of exactly who on their force is likely to get into this situation because of their attitude. it's on them to weed them out. It shouldn't take a District Attorney and people in the streets to make that simplest call.

The problem ALL the evidence points to him doing just that, "Running out into traffic from the OTHER side of the road".
-The 1 witness (who was his friend and he trying to stop him from running into traffic) who said he ran into the street, the truck stopped and he DID jump on the hood.

-NO Front-End Damage to the Truck
-No report yet on injuries consistent with a BIG truck hitting the man. Being hit by a BIG Truck give different kind of injuries than being hit a lower built car. Truck crushes from the knees up to the chest and throws you in the air several (can be 10 feet or more) in front of the Truck. In a smaller car your knees are broken and you end up on the hood, in a BIG truck, you would never end up on the hood unless you jumped.

@@andyxfish When you have a witness on Camera the scene of the accident who is a friend of the man who ran across 2 or 3 lanes of traffic from the other side of the road and jumped on top of the car..."The friend he tried to stop him from running into the road, but he could not stop him...then he jumped on top of the stop truck and busted the wiper and started pounding the Windshield".
It is not hard to investigate with that kind of video.
Now, what happened after he got out of the truck and shot him, not sure if there is any evidence out there on that.

I had a man to jump in front of my car but I didn't get out of the car and shoot him.
I recently moved to a smaller community to get away from this kind of conduct I was wrong I had the wrong color hair not white enough and my style of clothing didn't match I was followed by several none identifiable marked vehicles for months including being staired at rudely by citezens and police officers. Their is a number to call to have the local police department investigated. If you are being harassed or stalked by an officer off duty or on don't handle it yourself take a video spread the word to family and friends don't call the local department look online and find that number to report these rogue cops. They no longer harass or stalk me and their jobs are on the line enough said.

Hash’s 911 call, which lasted approximately four minutes, was answered at 2:18 p.m. on Jan. 8.
He gave the operator his location on the southwest side of Fayetteville and told her what happened.
“I just had a male jump on my vehicle and broke my windshield. I just shot him,” said Hash, who never gave his name to the operator during the recording and only identified himself as a lieutenant with the sheriff’s office.
The operator asked Hash if he was beside the victim and he said he was. When the operator asked if Walker was breathing, Hash responded, “He’s gone, ma’am. No ma’am, he is not breathing. He’s gone.”
During the call, Hash directed his attention away from the 911 operator after she asked what kind of vehicle the victim was in.
He yelled to someone at the scene, “I’m the deputy sheriff. He jumped on my vehicle and I just had to shoot him.”
Hash told the operator that he was driving his Ford F-150 when the victim “came flying across Bingham Drive, running, and I stopped so I wouldn’t hit him and he jumped on my car and started screaming.”
According to Hash, Walker pulled off the windshield wipers and began beating the windshield, breaking it, The deputy said his wife and daughter were in the truck with him.
The operator then asked Hash if Walker had any weapons on him and he responded, “I don’t know.” He repeated that the victim took the windshield wipers off the truck.
1. So the man did run into the street
2. The 911 call and the black box shows he did not hit the man with his truck
3. The man must of jumped on the truck.
-That is what the 911 call says
-How did the wipers and window get busted...the driver could not have jumped out of the truck and ripped the wiper off and then bust his the windshield (witness would have seen that)
4. The driver of the truck did get next to the man who was shot and did confirm he was "Gone"
So now we need to know why he shot the man who jumped on the hood of his truck:
1. Was the man on drugs?
2. Did the man who jumped on the hood also try to get in his truck?
3. When the truck driver got out of his truck, did the man try to attack him?
4. Was the man acting so crazy (jumping on the hood and breaking the wipers/windshield, that is crazy) that he and his family felt threatened?
5. Did the truck driver just shoot him because he was angry for busting up his hood and breaking his wipers/windshield?
Something is very fishy about this story and needs to be investigated completely

You can tell by the way she spoke that she was trying to sell the story in favor of the officer's actions. Male or female police chiefs are proving to be no different in results and the way that they deal with the people who work in law enforcement.

A lot of people don't understand that you can impact or hit somebody with minimum or maximum Force, but it's discretionary and based on what velocity and point of impact. Even if the cop says he's so called jumped on the huge truck, that still be impact.

Cops can barely break a window with a baton but this young man broke this cops windshield with the butt end of a windshield wiper. Yet no aid rendered to him after hit by the pickup and then shot.

The large truck wouldn't register a 200 pound man. I believe the officer hit Mr. Walker- not intentionally but carelessly, THEN Mr. Walker- injury level unclear- attacked the truck out of frustration- can't blame him! Then the officer got out and wanted to put Mr. Walker "in his place." The officer's wife knows the truth but will repeat anything her husband says- which is expected in this situation.
But I believe if there was no gun involved, Mr. Walker would be alive.

There is no way for the black box can indicate where on the vehicle an impact occurred. It's one sensor that determines a change in inertia. If either event occurred, the victim being ran into, or the victim jumping onto the vehicle, the sensor will detect the change in the vehicles inertia. The way the chief is copsplaining the black box sounds like a ruse to deflect fault.
And when they got the truck they could have changed the sensor

So the impact of hitting a body didnt show up on black box , does it record the force of that body jumping onto the hood? Same forces /physics of mass and velocity . Trucks don't have "technology" that detects impact. They have air bag sensors and if they don't deploy, they won't record any information.

They can tell where you've been how long you've stayed your phone calls if hooked up to your car just do a Google search and it will tell you just how much data your vehicle collects on your everyday routine and driving behaviors
All vehicles 2014 & newer have EDR systems.
EDRs collect two types of data:
Non-deployment event record: Data about crashes that did not lead to the deployment of the airbags. Both pre-crash and post-crash data are recorded, but the information is wiped out after 250 ignition cycles.
Deployment event data: Information collected in the event of airbag deployment. The recorded data includes pre-crash and crash information and possibly some post-crash details, depending on the damage to the vehicle and the EDR. This information is never overridden when the airbags do deploy.
What information does the EDR capture?
The NHTSA is in the process of implementing a rule that will standardize the information collected by EDRs. For now, the data collected by the event recorder can vary based on the auto manufacturer, the model of the vehicle and the EDR unit itself. However, the unit normally captures 15 or more variables, monitored about 20 seconds before the crash and 5-10 seconds after the crash. The information usually includes:
Pre-crash vehicle operational dynamics such as the speed, use of accelerator, engine RPM, use of steering wheel.
Crash force, both forward and lateral.
Crash duration.
Application of brakes and activation of antilock brake.
Change in speed after impact.
Activation of fault codes or warning signals.
Engagement of stability control.
Vehicle roll angle.
Number of ignition attempts after the accident.
Use of restraint and engagement of pretension and force-limiter for front seat occupants.
Position of front seats.
Size (weight) of front seat occupants.
Number of impacts.
Deployment of airbags, speed of deployment and faults, if any.
Activation of the automatic collision notification system.
In addition to these, some units also record the duration of the trip, time of the day when the crash occurred, the vehicle location at the time of the crash and the vehicle route. One more thing to remember is that EDRs only function when the vehicle is turned on. If you were in an accident in which somebody rammed his car into your stationary vehicle while the vehicle is not on, your EDR will not have information about this crash.
