Of which service to use. For my family we went with Hulu live plus Disney. I tried all the rest including utube and passed . Even though with all of the add-ons I am spending alot, it is still less than Direct TV satellite service by $100 a month. We have 3 high-end large screen tvs (75,65,55"), picture quality is paramount for me. Ease of use is also very important, and even though having to navigate to different apps is a bit of a pain, it's still fairly easy to accomplish. So far I am happy with the service, and hopefully this remains the same in a few months.
RUclips TV works best for our family. Tried Hulu Live and the interface is not as good and when pausing live TV we could not skip past commercials. RUclips TV does not have this restriction. However, we don't like how hard RUclips TV is constantly pushing their NFL Sunday Ticket or NBA League Pass - constantly taking-up at least half the Home screen.
I am thinking about switching from hulu live to RUclips. I have had significant problems with programs recording and being unable to delete them. I have called numerous times without resolution. The customer service is from India and their English is mostly indecipherable. They will put you on hold and say we will escalate your problem to a manager. After a few minutes the customer rep says we have escalated the problem and expect a resolution in 3-5 business days. Of course nothing happens and the problem remains. Somehow recordings change from "new only" to "new and reruns". Hulu does not support 4k content unless its amazon prime or netflix or at least that is what Alexa tells me as of 1/24/25. I am somewhat concerned that RUclips TV may have the similar problems. I tried it for one month several years ago and the interface was clunky for me. Has anyone had any customer service issues with RUclips TV or is it outsourced as well? I would sincerely appreciate any response in this issue. Has anyone used both for an extended period of time? Thanks.
I would say the customer service with RUclips TV, if anything, is worse than Hulu's. I worked in call center settings for most of my 20s and its definitely an area that's on the decline for all of the companies right now- especially as some of them gradually switch over to AI chatbots.
Great review!!
Thank you!
QUESTION - Are there any streaming services that do NOT include ESPN? I have no interest in sports.
I'm stilling with RUclips TV 👍🏾
Sounds like a plan!
Had Hulu live few years never had problems with it and we love it!
Glad to hear it!

$82 a month for RUclips?!!!! Yikes.
I hate the app for RUclips TV. I'm shocked you think it is more polished.
