Its hard for me to forgive myself for mistakes i make as a parent. Everything else i easily forgive myself for.
You were doing the best you were capable of at those times and your best keeps getting better! I'm not a parent so I can't relate, but I wanted to tell you that.
You are not alone.
I can relate way too much... It's hard, we're all just human but yeahh in that area we truly don't wanna make any mistakes... But we do, we just do... You live you learn, but most of the times too late... And I'm still so sad about a lot of it... That's just my honest truth..... 😢

If my soul told your soul to lift weights, thats a feedback loop we got into that reflects society's expectations of traditional males. I changed it to "lift weights" in the sense of relieving yourself of those burdens.

I’m 20 and I constantly feel stressed out. Like I’m not doing enough and I’m wasting my life. Idk how to not feel like that when society constantly reinforces that sort of thought process. I’m pre-med in college, so the pressure to do more, more, more is amplified. Feels impossible to be gentle with myself
i've always thought to be a failure in school since i was a kid. people do not see me, i feel like im just a piece of paper. and its really hard for me now, i know i can do it, im just scared. and i dont know how to control this past self of me...
What about intrusive/unwanted thoughts? Are those child wounds that need awareness?
It's all about tradeoffs.
