I'm sure many of us were imagining this game with this lighting when we first played it back in the day. Now we get the real thing thanks to this tech.
The levels need more ambient lighting. You can't see anything here unless you're near a light source. In the real world, light bounces off of things and dimly lights up nearby objects and surfaces. UnrealEd 1 doesn't do radiosity but you can give entire zones a dim lighting effect.
Amazing! Do you intend to redistribute light sources around the game as well? Since the light plays such a strong part in the stealth mechanics, keeping the same lightsources and applying raytracing on them might disrupt some balances.
i tried to run this earlier but the frame rate was really bad and cut scenes were super buggy … overall just didn’t seem to work correctly , any tips on how to have it run this smoothly ?
First time I'm actually kinda excited for a remix project.

My vision is augmented.
Wow, that really transforms the game entirely.
How can we support this project?
My fav Deus Ex game!
hopefully this remix project will be finished and not left in a WIP status.

You could make an absolute fortune selling child safety corners in the Deus Ex universe. You wouldn't have to take over the world with guns.
Da Rucky Money looks so good.. I spill my drink!!
Oh god finally its all coming together!!
Looks so good! Now i want to try.
Amazing!

1:27 trippy, the hallway looks like a flat texture but then you walk through it. Seemed to lack depth.
Does This Work With the New Vision mod and HTO Mod ?
Nice job 👍
Nice, nice, nice.
It's nice job, cool!

Might need a RTX 4090
i have a 3080 that must be it@@omarelhusni3102
should probably wait until we get a competed version of a Remix mod
I'ma try it out
beautiful. but very tiny ui though
Haha, yea UI was set to minimum :)
Looks great but still dark as fuck :p
Could a 3060ti / 5800x handle this?
If there was way to add more lights and npc this game would be great
This game IS great though.
Rtx remix literally does exactly that, you can swap out entire objects in the game, add lights etc, it's just early days
Did not need to remember how bad footsteps sounded in old games... Holy crap.. I'd have to mod that sound out to be able to play
asset replacement when?
I didn't play original, but it looks like surfaces require to reduce their specularity factor.
Now definetly is better than Cyberpunk 2077. Much more better lol
now use it to enhance those silly footsteps, sounds like you're wearing size 3s
i assume this won't work on AMD
Does this work with the Revision mod?
Does this work with revision ?
I'm going to try it - have a 4090 so frame rate shouldn't be an issue like others have suggested.
