The V8-powered 1986 Mack Super-Liner of Thomas W. Menges Trucking

Grantsville, Maryland-based owner-operator Tom Menges showed this classic beauty at the 2023 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky. The truck is still mostly original, including the 500-hp Mack V8 under the hood. Menges knew about the truck since it was new, and after it sat for 11 years, Menges talked the owner into selling it to him in April 2022.

That's a good looking old.
Superliner love them trucks. I drove a 89 Superliner logging truck for.
12 yrs. It had a 3406 cat.
With a 15 speed transmission.

I owned a 1987 Superliner day cab that I purchased new when I was in the petroleum transport business. 500hp had plenty of power.
