- Despite dealing with injuries, Nathan MacKinnon continued his dominance and proved once again why he is one of the very best players in the world. Putting up 65 points in just 48 games, he had the fourth best points-per-game average in the NHL this season.

McDavid McDavid McDavid is all you hear these days, it’s seriously annoying because there is so much talent from other players swept under the rug just because McDavid is the poster boy.
Everything he does looks so amazing and satisfying to watch. His motion and all his movements are extremely aesthetically pleasing to watch and utterly flawless.
One thing a lot of people that dont watch Oilers games dont know:
McDavid usually has 2 players shadowing him, always at least 1. This obviously helps create more room for his teammates, but even with 2 shadows, he still outscores the rest of the league by a lot.
If the refs were impartial, Connor would easily draw 5 penalties per game.

Feeling the need to comment on an entirely separate NHL Superstars highlight video to 'remind' everyone that McDavid is apparently way better than everyone can clearly perceive for themselves because we don't watch mostly EDM games or something??

Mackinnon actually got his team to the 2nd round. Mackinnon>Mcdavid, Crosby, and Mathews,
I'm a Montreal fan by heart and I will always be but if they didn't exist avalanche are for sure my second favorite team along with MacKinnon being my favorite player.

The fact that Nate and Sid workout together is perfect for Hockey.
He’s the best player because he seems to be the only superstar in the league that can actually take it to a whole new level in the playoffs. Unlike mcd, matthews, marner…
He is on a team that allows him to raise his game to the next level. If he had entire strategys schemed against shutting him down (like McDavid does) with no depth to help him out it would be a different story. Love Mackinnon though, easily the 2nd best player in the league.
