They've got the adrenaline rush and the mean machines, but most of all, they've got the extreme need for speed. On the turbo-charged streets of Los Angeles, every night is a championship race. With nitro-boosted fury, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), rules the road turning all his challengers into dust. He and his rival, Johnny Tran (Rick Yune) are the boldest, the baddest and the best. But now, there's new rage on the road. They know he's tough, they know he's fast, but what they don't know is that he's a speed demon detective (Paul Walker) with enough drive and determination to come out the winner. With intense full-throttle action, awesome high-speed stunts, and full-on pedal to the metal intensity, this fast and furious assault puts you in the driver's seat and dares you to exceed all limits.

2 fast 2 furious has a short film that shows what happens in between the first and second film i recommend checking it out even if its on your own time
Finally next already HHAHAHAHA
This OG film and Tokyo Drift are the only ones I'm nostalgic about. I liked this one because it did feel a bit simpler and grounded. Franchise got massive and super over-the-top action flick, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just not what I wanted from F&F
I feel the exact same way. I saw the original in the theater when it came out and it’s always been nostalgic to me. Tokyo drift is amazing as well.
I stopped paying attention when they introduced The Rock.
Nothing can ever top the original because it was grounded. I really stopped going to see them in theaters after Tokyo drift and totally stopped watching after Fast 7
tokyo drift is ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
@@k3n12ock I like most of them better than the original. The original just just a point break rip off.
I enjoy all of them despite how crazy they got. They’re always entertaining
It’s not so much how crazy they got as A) Dont make any plausible sense (explain how Letty can’t remember a single thing about her childhood but is able to retain all her expert knowledge of guns, martial arts, cars and retain all her skills? Muscle memory?) B) They have zero to do with street racing or the original story that could of easily been wrapped up in either 4, 5 or 6, now it’s just an international spy/heist series (made for international audiences)
@@markg1727 yeah and they are still good movies
The last two were absolutely awful.
Watch all the movies
It’s better to see for yourself if you’ll like them or not.
@@Shawn-ol4wb shoot I bet yo family still went to watch it 🤡
FUN FACT: Ja Rule was supposed to be in the rest of the F&F movies but he decided to focus more on his music career. The creators of the series always wanted an actor with music ties so they approached Ludacris and the rest is F&F history!
Mightve been better to just continue w his terrible acting 🤣Ja's biggest accomplishment thats still relevant today is getting roasted by 50 cents.
@@elcrucius 😂😂.. Man should have 100% stayed with the franchise. I wonder if he watches these movies thinking, "Damn, that was supposed to be me."
50 cent was approached to star but he felt he wasn't big enough to star in a film
@@marlonclark1896 he totally should have been in this one man
source : trust me bro
The reactions are great but I'm surprised by how much I'd like hear more about the wild high school stories haha.
There's no way y'all watching this oh I can't wait to see all of them with you
YESS!
Same
When vin said 9 seconds flat, he’s referring to how fast that car can go from zero to a 1/4 of a mile. Whenever you hear someone say 10 second car, that’s how fast a car can go from zero to a quarter mile. Not sure if you know, but when Jesse said “a 2JZ engine”, he’s referring to the model of the engine. The 2JZ is a legendary and revered engine in the JDM car community.
Takes literally 5 sec & no effort to find out & include in video but they want viewer engagement. 🚮 It's like playing 'got your nose' with adults & every channel thrives on it like it's not obvious & gross.
@@RENOWN55CHARGE Some people don’t know that though. Not everyone is immersed in the car culture.
@@Eternalsfan think he meant it takes literally 5 secs and zero effort to google it lol
@@Drummer4President true but this is definitely a live reaction. He even said he saw the movie but it was 20 years ago. I don’t know about you, but my memory is not that good
This movie was never about racing. It was about an undercover cop who goes rogue. It was never about just racing.
I’m crying. I ATE IT AND ALL THE PACKAGING!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 You guys are married for sure! Nothing is safe in our house! 😂
He passed during fast 7 movie.
Interesting Fact: the highway scene at 6:27 is the same area where the T-1000 chases Sarah, John, and the T-800 in his police helicopter in Terminator 2! Just look closely at the chemical plant in the background as the clue.👍
This movie definitely has an impact on me growing up. Got into the car scene in Los Angeles because of this movie. Still remember where I was when I heard he died. Me and some friends went to pay are respects at his crash site. Thousands of cars where there. Including some of the original cars from the movies.
Oh damn. If you guys are going through the whole saga, y'all are in for a ride (heh). Enjoy! I love these movies unbashedly. Personally, I prefer the craziness of the later instalments ("Fast Five" is my personal favorite of the movies overall), as they concentrated more on the action and characters. But there is something quaint and nostalgic about seeing the street racing roots (even though I think "Tokyo Drift" is the only one really about racing, if we're being real). But you can't make a long-running franchise strictly based in the racing scene. The characters get older, and racing in general can't consistently be the theme when there's never any question that they can lose. Seeing them defy death in absurd ways? As stupid as it is, it's way more interesting to me lol. But to each their own! I hope you guys continue with the series past the first 2. There's a reason why these have kept going, and why they received bigger budgets, bigger box office, and relatively better reviews than the original core 3.
I whole-heartedly agree!
i actually disagree and think these movies arent well reviewed at all, and in hindside many have come to realize the superior quality and coherence of the earlier movies
@@zachanator2011 Maybe not the more recent entries like F9 or F10... even then, compare the reviews and audience reactions to the films from 5 and on, and the reviews and reactions are consistently higher than any of the original 3 movies. The later movies strive for something completely different than what the first 3 did, which is fair. It is up to personal tastes. But that being said, the action-oriented movies tend to hit with general audiences more than the racing-era ones ever did. NONE of these movies are coherent, don't get that twisted. But while the later movies are stupid movies that KNOW they're stupid movies, the first 3 are stupid movies that don't realize they're stupid movies.
Back when it was all about racing
yep
The movie literally starts with a heist and is about an undercover cop, what do you mean all about racing
@@gontse1386the “heist” scenes are probably in total 15 mins of the whole movie…….racing……an hour 15. Seems like it’s more about racing than the heist to me.
It's absolutely hilarious when Jane says "naughty" things because it's so unassuming. We all know what she meant when she said "2 in the..." and kept smiling. 😇🤣
The beginning. I still remember watching this in theaters in 2001. I never thought as a 23 year old then that a 44 year old would be getting ready for a 10th installment. And my father said *NO* to racing stripes, saying _”They broadcast to the world you’re not responsible and you put a X on your back.”_ 😄
Keep it going!! one of the best action franchises ever!! A super fun saga!!
10 second car means it can run a quarter mile in 10 seconds
Awe yes, this is my jam. I have the whole 4K 8 movie collection. "FF1 is fire. It even has Letty in the floor playing "Gran Turismo. I love this movie. 🤩
10 second car is basically a car fast enough to race in a quarter mile race, which is 10 seconds.
By the way, 10 second car means it should run a 1/4 (quarter) mile drag race in 10 seconds.
Pay your respects to the late Paul walker r.i.p
🙏🙏🙏
Car culture and car modification is still MASSIVE. I’m certainly still involved, though never quite like they do in these movies. Most people I’ve been around were more into making the cars go, stop, and turn faster, without regard to appearance.
Love this series! Do them all please!!!
Check out initial D when you get a chance and check out people's reaction to the series as well.
Whole series🔥
When I was younger I had a very heavy foot... until I got involved with my first serious girlfriend. We were almost involved in a very serious accident, and the realization that I had put her at risk smartened me up.. mostly...if it was just me or me and my buddies I still drove fast but when she was in the car I limited my speeding.
nearly killed myself when i was driving one of my old BMW's I went off the side of an off-ramp at like 30 mph, would've been at a higher speed but I slammed my brakes. lucky as hell that it didn't kill me considering my tires were bald and I didn't even know it. god looked out for me that night 😖😖
Hey you two... Great videos... Love the reactions...
And I have but a humble request... Watch Transformers Prime!😁... It's soooo worth it... You won't be disappointed... It may be a children's show... But let me tell you... The action, the story, the animation is good for it's time and only improves as it goes, it may seem slightly.... Childish... At first... But just stick with it and you WON'T be disappointed
"JUSTIN" !! 🤣🤣 I like her reactions
My feelings are still hurt from Jane saying she's going to call the cops because of the exhaust smoke from Bumble Bee😮💨🤦🏾♂️ dude could have been trying to get to work while being in a bad financial situation.
Paul Walker passed away part way part-way through production of Furious 7. There were discussions regarding whether they should finish the movie or not, and in the end the movie was finished and Paul's two brothers helped out as stand-ins to refilm and finish some of his shots for the final edit.
Jane getting a revelation that her school was darker than she remembered had me dying 💀
JV: Yeah the mafia was outside about smoke like 8 kids
Jane: I was too busy to notice
This and the next 2 are the best of the franchise
They should have changed the title after Walker.
Youre not gonna tell me 2 Fast 2 Furious is better than Fast 5 🤨
@@polterkat Yeah 👍💯 because it was all about racing 🐎 hahaha 😂🤣😂🤣😂
I remember going street racing after this movie 😆
OMG ITS HERE😭😭😭 I’m so excited. This whole series has me in a chokehold. The first one ofc is the most iconic but allll the way till 7 they are gut wrenchingly good. Even after but out of obligation for the first 7 being amazing
They don’t even make any kind of sense after 5. Like the second we are made to believe Letty can’t remember ANYTHING about her childhood but SOMEHOW remembers how to be an expert level street racer, hand to hand fighter, marksman, etc.
@@markg1727 you did not just spoil it for them😭…
@@alanalopez2086 I didn’t spoil how it happens, or what precipates the events or why, they will get there when they get there it’s fine.
@@markg1727 ok well let’s talk about it. I’m willing to & I do consider all sides. I’m aware they are out of hand now but i much more like to enjoy the cinematic experience rather than pick out everything wrong with it. While I do take notice in the issues with the franchise continuation past 6 I’m a more live in the moment kind of gal because once it ends, it ENDS. BUT for the sake of argument not all amnesia cases have to start from scratch and learn how to walk again or talk. We were never shown her recovery after and there was a time jump because we had a whole period of her absence in between the saga. As well as the crowd she was around werent regulars and had those skills themselves as well. No telling how long she was around them either to brush up on some things. But seeing as her skills and knowledge have pretty much been imbedded in her brain since teens I don’t find it hard to believe some things would come back to her like second nature because they technically are.
@@alanalopez2086 Yet she can’t remember a single thing about learning those skills? Im sorry but no, that’s not how amnesia or muscle memory works. And it was never established that she was an expert level shooter since her teens. Im not saying there isn’t a lot to enjoy but the franchise left the realm of believability and started to lack a satisfying cohesive story after 4-5.
I remember watching this in the theater. I had a 92 Civic hatch with a b18a swap, lowered, with a janky body kit, lol. Shit was hot back then, lol. Also, the import scenes still huge because car culture will never die
You can actually run nitrous in your car it is not illegal as well as neon lights underneath your car that is not illegal either except for you cannot have red or blue because that is the color of emergency vehicles lights
Hope you two are having an great and awesome day ❤️
mans got 3 1020s and a 1520 just sittin in the back...im jelly
You're in for one hell of a ride!
10 second car is making it a qtr mile in ten seconds when racing
I love watching y’all reactions I be feeling like I’m there with you guys watching it
No cars cannot go under tractor trailers in real life
If you look closer...the Trailer used for that sequence was Lifted so that the Car could fit underneath; there were also safety bars across the Rear Wheels, which would have only "pushed" the Car instead of damaging it.
To see what kinda damage those Rear Wheels can really cause, watch "2 Fast 2 Furious". . .
@@tomhoffman4330 That's why I said real life.
Heyy jv and Jane
26:22 The racers like to race a quarter mile and they like to take times so if you get 10 seconds in the quarter mile from a stand still to the quarter mile mark then you got yourself a 10 second car🏎️
10 second car can go a quarter miles in less than 10 seconds
Paul walker's first car was a 1995 mitsubishi eclipse and the 10 second car is a 1995 Toyota Supra
Vin diesel first cas was a 1997 mazda rx7 and a 1970 Dodge Charger
Mitchelle rodriguez car was a 1997 Nissan 240SX
Mias car was a 1994 Acura Integra
Ja rules car was 1994 Acura Integra
Leon's car was 1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R R33
Jesse's car was a 1995 Volkswagen Jetta
Vince car was 1999 Nissan Maxima
Johny tran car was a 2000 Honda S2000
"Fast-Fan-4-Life" Right Here, Y'all! 🤠 I Love each and every one of these movies, I re-watch them as often as I can, and I can't wait to see the Newest one; "Ride Or Die!"👍
To answer your question: Paul Walker died in 2013, in-between filming the 7th movie...which then became his last one. (R.I.P.)💔
I'm commenting because I want so see the next 4 get reviewed 🔰🏎️🔥🏎️🔰👍🏾
Suping up hondas and nissans etc started way before this, our hondas and my Maxima was tricked out back in 1985! Maybe during this movies’ time might have ‘boosted’ nitrous installations and gawdy paint jobs but so cal already had loud and fast ‘rice rockets’ as we called them. It’s ok, I’m Asian lol I can say it
A 10 sec car is basically a fast car that can go a quarter mile in under 10 seconds, anything above 10 like 15 16 or 17 ur car is basically slow & shouldn’t b racing
Vin Diesel was a supporting actor in "Saving Private Ryan." His biggest leads were the "Pitch Black/Riddick" movies and the "xXx" movies.
Also I didn't see it as problematic as a 17 year old but now looking back "Race wars" is a bit of a bad name. Lol
Because you make it sound problematic 🤣
Ja Rule got sued not to long after this movie. He did an episode of MTV cribs and showed the house he was staying at. He had the cast show up and the owner saw then sued him for showing the house with out permission.
wtf you can sue people for anything
"Hey Idiot "!! Classic line Jane, my favorite part of the whole review..
When they say a ten second car, they mean a car capable of going a quarter of a mile in 10 seconds.
You guys should check out ‘a Man Apart’ by Vin diesel
A quarter mile is a 10 second race, so a car that can make a quarter mile in 10 seconds
Actually a car that is capable of doing the quarter mile in 10 seconds or under is consider a fast car specially if the car is a dally driver so yeah a quarter mile is not a 10 seconds race it could take more or it could take less time than 10 seconds a dragster can do the quarter mile i think in under 4 seconds i haven't seen professional drag racing in a long time so they could be faster now
Must. Be so annoying having a woman who screams an hits you any time theres something slightly violent just watch it
This is my favorite Paul Walker movie. Rest in Peace. Gone too soon.
YES My favorite trilogy, cant wait to see ur reactions. Jk Back to Future all day every day but this ones okay lol.
Trilogy?
listening to you two talk about cars is hilarious! Its like me talking about what to expect when you have children and I dont have any.
When Johnny Tran said " A couple or SR20s a pull a premium before race wars" was wrong SR20 is a Nissan engine and the cars in the bays were Honda Civics ( the motor oil in mouth scene)
You guys sold me on the ridge wallet immediately! Thanks!
Hope you enjoy it!
You guys should react to the Justin lin film called "Better Luck Tomorrow" because that movie is unofficially the prequel to the Fast Franchise because before he was hired to direct Tokyo Drift he did this movie and it had Han in it
Check out more Vendisol movies, like Riddick.
I have that wallet
Brian’s first car that he races is a Mitsubishi Eclipse. I wanted that car for years when I was a kid, because of the first two movies. That, and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo (my dream car) and the Eclipse Spyder from the second movie. As for what the movies evolve into, audiences have evolved, so the filmmakers were smart to focus in on the action sequences and the heist heart of the films instead of the more niche racing culture.
We need a video of just y’all comparing school experiences. For two people who went to the same school, Justin saw some shit. LOL
Paul Walker made it to Fast 7. He died in the middle of filming
Why cause he said that it was nobody's car so that's why they shoot it up
Yes! The one that started it all.
React to all fast and furious movie plase
10 seconds is the average time for one of them street races they do
The fake thumbnails have to go
I’ve never modded my cars, but I bought a 2021 Supra because of these movies.
Lol it’s not a Acura Impreza There’s No Such Name😅 Ja Rules Car Was A Acura Integra…It Only Has Subaru Impreza….Paul Walkers Car Was A Mitsubishi Eclipse,Vin Diesel Car Was A Mazda Rx7,Asian Guy Car Was A Honda Civic Si
I remember going to see this in theaters when I was a kid.
Back when they made good fast & furious movies. They went from jacking dvd players to taking on submarines... the franchise should have stopped after Paul walker passed.
_”10-second car”_ referenced how fast it was in the 1/4 mile; anywhere from 10.99 to 10.00 seconds. For a street car in 2001, “10 second car” for the street was VERY fast. Today with technology for ICE (internal combustion engines) and Electric, it is a lot more achievable. Tesla Model S P100D is a 10-second car and the Plaid is a 9-second car. 9-second car is the new benchmark.
Paul Walker died during the making of the Fast and Furious 7 movie. The movie was only partly completed, they used Paul's brothers for certain parts and used certain clips from other movies in certain parts.
the film's crew set about the task of producing some 350 additional shots of Walker to flesh out his role in the movie, 90 of which used archived footage of the actor from previous outtakes or shots from earlier Fast & Furious films, which were then relit and repurposed. The other 260 shots were completed by having Paul's brothers, Caleb and Cody, perform his scenes in character, then replacing their faces with CGI versions of Paul in post-production. As Weta VFX supervisor Joe Letteri explained in 2015 (via THR), the Fast & Furious 7 effects team created the CGI replacement for Paul Walker's face by first scanning his brothers to use them as a point of reference. It wasn't perfect but I think they did a great job.
23:00 when Dominic screams NOS and then the car explodes that is a little over the top. Nos allows the engine to burn more fuel by providing more oxygen during combustion. The increase in oxygen allows an increase in the injection of fuel, allowing the engine to produce more horsepower. It's not flammable at a low pressure/temperature, but it delivers more oxygen than atmospheric air by breaking down at elevated temperatures, about 570 degrees. Just some useless information
Pls watch the short movies!!!!! There are 2!
There’s Los Banoleros which is a prelude to the Very 1st movie (you just watched) but it came out after the 4th movie.
And then There’s Turbo Charge which is a prelude to the 2nd movie but came out after it lol. Both good shorts, like 20 mins long
OMG I didn't have a souped-up car I was part of the American muscle crew at car meets I had a Ford mustang 1988 V8 5.0 supercharged engine manual
My little sister showed me an animation movie called The Willoughby's and it is lowkey very dark and I definitely recommend!!!!
Great film series, can't wait for the ALL!!! The stunts get bigger, badder and better!
Plus... Jane with the '2in the pink, 1 in the stink' 🤣🤣🤣🙈
The Civic driving under the truck is a real stunt, done by a female stunt driver named Debbie Evans. She also was Trinity's stunt performer during the highway chase scene in Matrix Reloaded
when car guys like me say " 8 second car" or "10 second car", it means how fast i can go from 0 to 1320 feet, or a 1/4 mile. so a car/vehicle that can go 10 seconds or less in a quarter of a mile, is fast, around 800-1000 horsepower.
This is my childhood. I love the movies from 1 to 7. The 8th movie still enjoyable, but F9 for me it's just garbage. I really hope Fast X to be good.
So a 10 second car is a car that can finish a quarter mile in 10 seconds. Paul Walker's been in 5 or 6 movies. He did 80% of his scenes in Fast and Furious 7 before his unfortunate passing.
There's a short film between this one and the second one called Turbo Charged, which explains what happens after Brian lets Dom go away, and it directly leads to the second one.
You guys should react to The vampire diaries. It's like twilight but it's better and it's a show. You have to go in order The vampire diaries, The originals then legacies
If yall don't react to all atleast react to Fast Five, the 5th one, literally the perfect movie and all spinoffs are involved its one big movie,Best Ending,Also a side note, Need For Speed , the movie is probably the #1, as for a single story line movie.
Vin Diesels first movies: Strays and Pitch Black, and a short roll in Saving Private Ryan.
Ey yo don't be talking bad about Panasonic TVs 😭😅 They still good 🤷♂️
54:40 if you keep looking at the driver someone is really in that car with a helmet on doing this stunt
I got to live out that lil scene with the Ferrari but it was a Porsche gt rs. My 4 cylinder with a turbo and fbo and tune I was able to hang until 130mph I cap out at 140 :P
I love all of the Fast and furious but every time I used to tell people how this movie gave Paul Walker bad luck the part with they talk about he's dad dies and u look back how Paul dies but R.I.P
i wondered what you guys meant when you said that you couldn't say the f word in movies anymore. i think you mean that since it's a pg-13 movie, you can't say it. but actually you can, but only once. after that it is considered to be rated R. at least that's the way it is in the US.
There is an art to weight displacement in cars, you want the car to be light enough to accelerate quickly but not too light that the wheel torque exceeds the grip of the tires.
The Engine provides the weight on the front wheels, the sound system would provide weight on the back wheels and everything else would be made lighter, racing seats, alloy wheels, air foils and spoilers to increase air pressure in the areas that need it. If the weight balance isn't right then your performance suffers at high speeds
The vehicles!
Car moding was definitely a thing before this movie but it did make it more main stream. The series has gotten real koo koo. Feel like the only thing they can do now is form voltron or inter the quantum realm 😮💨
