Early 2000's Vin was on a different level. Riddick from Pitch Black is still one of my most thought about characters, they make it almost impossible for you to hate him despite him actively being a serial killer.
I liked the street racing culture stuff. I wish they explored that more in the sequels. But instead, they went with standard action and stunt casting with occasional bad melodrama. I hoped for more after this.

The truth is, this film had the best plot out of the entire series and is the best in the series. The plotlines get so twisted and unbelievable that they have nothing to do with 'fast and furious' and they become more superhero movies. Personally, I wish they would completely drop the current ridiculous direction the series has been on and instead bring it back to basics, where it is actually about the cars and racing...

That's the point, this is a film where the plot is just there so you can follow a story. This about showing you a world and some characters in that world and that even in a world you may not agree with, there can still be a place where people can find a home.
People always talk about how unrealistic the fast and furious movies have gotten. The real unresisting is that Dunn is gonna be able to provide for a family, have a garage, have tools and equipment for these cars, be able to supe up these cars run a diner and pay a mortgage for a house.

The women that were used as "props" were actually all well known models from car racing magazines. They were put in the movie as "easter eggs" before easter eggs were a thing. Still used as props but they were specifically put in the movie because of they were all famous in the car racing scene. When people watched this in the theaters people in the car racing culture were all excited to see them in a movie other than a magazine! Love watching your reactions!

The women that were used as "props" were actually all well known models from car racing magazines. They were put in the movie as "easter eggs" before easter eggs were a thing. Still used as props but they were specifically put in the movie because of they were all famous in the car racing scene. When people watched this in the theaters people in the car racing culture were all excited to see them in a movie other than a magazine! Love watching your reactions!
