How did you get a stallion? I only ever get mares spawn at NPC camps, not that it makes much difference, I just like to have a mix of male and female horses :)

I got it twice today alone from bounty hunter camps
You can also get this Piebald Princess in Ch. 3 mission "An Honest Mistake". The cornwall men will ride a lot of these. Just have to manage to get one by feeding. I got myself during the end parts of the mission. Brave she is ❤
Got one at random in ch.2 while exploring near Clemen’s Point. I was goofing off when I came across a ridge because I saw smoke in the distance. At the time,I was big on acquiring the Few Spotted Appaloosa,so I checked it out. From a distance,I was disappointed to realize it was a black horse,and assumed that it was just a black Kentucky Saddler,but just to be safe,I got out my goggles and zoomed in(incase it was a full black Standardbred)and instead I saw a black splotched white horse. I’d been confused because I’d NEVER heard of the horse spawning at campsites,so I studied it,and I was appalled. It was a PTHH!I quickly rode down the slope with my lasso,got my horse close to the fleeing HH,and took the leap of faith. With luck,I was atop the horse whistling to my main as we rode away from the zooming bullets. Named her Lucy because the day after that I was going to be bringing my tricolor piebald mini Dachshund named Lucy!I’d always park her near Old Boy because I always imagined they were friends. Why?Because the first time I brought her to the camp and untacked her and let her be,Old Boy walked over and began grazing by her. I know,the horses don’t have feelings,but let me dream!Anyways,I gotta tell ya,horse Lucy is just as spicy and fearless as real dog Lucy!Great video,Rock!

Worked like a charm... Went to the spot where those two people are camping. The horse spawned in just three tries.
I tried this again today, only difference is I went a lot farther away this time between approaches, and the fire never went away, the camp stayed there, and I could have had any horse I wanted almost if I waited. I am very early in chapter 2. I had multiple variations of mustang. I had Apoloosas, blood bay thoroughbred, I had hungarian halfbred brown, and pie bald, I had splashed paint and many more. I got the piebald I wanted, for a new playthrough.

Just to add, I never pulled a single shire or draft horse, it was all riding horses. I think it depends on who is camping. If there is nothing for a horse to pull, its gonna be two riding horses.

I got it after (finally) escaped from guarma, just stole it around the bar in van horn trading post. I still keep the horse until now & didn't know that it’s a special horse 😅

Dude I've had it spawn many times at random camps in chapter 2. Good spot is the camp that spawns by Flatneck Station

I had a huge shootout near Annesberg the train wasn't moving so i decided to kill all the guards, and they sent everyone after me, from bounty hunters and lawmen, i was near death and my blue roan nokota was killed by them. I was trying to get away, and this horse the piebald was one of the bounty hunters horses. It saved me and got me to safety.

When i tried this i kept getting Suffolk punches, shires, and belgian drafts
I’ve tried it at least 50 tomes and it’s never spawned for me.

I got my Hugarian Halfbred on the bounty mission for the poison medicine peddler.
You jump on his horse to retrieve him from the river, then bond with it before you take him to the sheriff.
Easy and it is the same horse everytime.
But it is not that coat, it is the grey speckled one.
Do NOT a skip the cutscene or you don’t get the horse, trust me I did it wrong.
a Arabian would buck you off as you go closer to the Preditor you cant get a Horse with High Speed, Excelleration & No Fear all at once
The MFT is the closest thing to all that but either you glitch the horse or wait till chapter 4
I was out today trying to decide between my black arabian, or the piebald. Used both bonded to lvl 4. The both encountered cougars. The Piebald threw me off at the sight of it, instantly. The arabian held on cool as a cucumber as I killed from mount.
I was surprised also. Both bonded to 4, both chilled out, fed and all. The piebald will be sold.
Even a mustang will buck you with a cougar this is wild
I got this horse and got it to level 4 bonding. Tried this same test and it bucked me right off when the cougar got within 5 feet. This guy is either using a mod to prevent from being bucked or is incredibly lucky
@@wrb6483 It is random. I have a Breton online who doesnt buck me with cougars, but a small alligator and he bolts out of there. Likewise my black arabian literally stomps wolves to death and allows me to chase down grizzlies. The key is to hold down G (calm it), and to have a full stamina core for the horse. If the stamina core is affected only a little, even the "brave" breeds will buck you off.
@@104thironmike4 it is not random and your entire "observation" is based on subjective, biased situations. every horse hase the same bravery level and if it will buck you depending on the distance it has to the threat, how fast you pressed the calm button and about your bonding level to it. damn this comment section needs some red dead education from people that really know the game.

I have 3k hours in this game, dude. just because folks never found a stat for bravery or whatever governs this mechanic, it does not mean it does not exist. My RDO Breton will not buck with a cougar between his legs, not calming him. Now go and repurchase Bretons till you find the one that does that for you and then tell me again how it isnt random. Did you read the code yourself? All of it? Then don't "educate" what you read online, instead of really knowing yourself.

I'll be on the lookout from now on. I just made the game fun to me again by trying to get Arthur and much of the stuff that he's not supposed to have as possible. The Silver Dapple Pinto was the start. Game is still fun and easy to get lost into.

I have the brown one found in the wild and I love it. its the bravest of most of the war horses I rode Andulasian, Ardennes, etc.
I was disappointed in the Andalusian Perlino (kind of skittish), although it was beautiful. I have the Bay Roadn Ardennes too. I'll stick with my Chocolate Roan Dutch Warmblood for now...my second one. This one is not making sounds if there's an alligator in sight.
Seems to spawn often at the camp over near Flatneck Station. Same spot you get the Jack Hall map from the treasure hunter
You can get the gray one when you collect your debt and he tells you to surch the house the horse is in the barn .. 2nd chapter

Nice vid but the rarest horse in the game is actually the horse that gets a gold shine on its hairs, u can only obtain it once in a quest, it also has blue eyes which makes it even more luxurious 😂
Maybe the best of the best, and safest way ( and maybe easyest) to get that horse.
I can't get this bounty hunter location to spawn, no matter how patient I am. BUT, I finally got this horse. It's the same horse you get on when coming back from Guarma. I just kept it.😂

I hate how coward my horses are in RDO (at level 4 bonding and pressing G key to calm them down during the hunt). Maybe in story mode it's different, but seeing your horse stomp the black bear at 0:14 was so satisfying! I wish to find a horse as brave as this one someday :)
My horses are nervous and get frozen with fear even if the bear is running rather far away... So I have to shoot bears from distance. One time my horse simply refused to follow the bear so I had to dismount and chase him down to finish him off on foot :/ And other time my horse got frozen in place while I was sedating grizzly bear, and while I had to press G few times to calm her down and finally get her moving, the bear had already run away and despawned without trail (it was a random animal during Legendary Animal mission from Harriet).

You can try the anesburg method it always spawns a male horse

Thanks for a wonderful horse, immediately after it spawned at this site I was attacked by 5 wolves near cornwall oil, she bucked me but whilst I was fighting the wolves she steamed in and trampled one to death, she was hysterical but calmed down nicely after the wolves were dead, what a horse, I have the andalusian as well, I like the bigger horses, the arabians look like ponies to me.

I have a mft, black arabian, brindle thoroughbred, Braithwaites turkoman. And my spare is the perlino right now. I am gonna get the piebald, which means I will lose my perlino but thats okay because its the one horse i can replace any time by taming a new one. The andalusian is brave, so we will see soon enough.

That’s a HARD one..I cant really narrow it down to just 2 but I’ll give you my top 3 picks - the silver dapple pinto mft, dark bay turkoman, and perlino andalusian . All-around capable, top tier horses in my opinion

This white Andalusia i only found once and kept it because its just beautiful Plus its a war horse, at 1st glance I thought it was a white thorough bred but scoping it showed Andalusia, so you can always find it where you mapped it? @RockworthRDR2 hello I've just started a new play start, traveled all the way to that spot, saved the game before coming upto that place but the white Andalusia just doesn't spawn? Tried so many times, I went there riding the black brute, after hosear Misson, no luck finding the Andalusia, I'm I trying to early in the new game?

If you guys want there’s an easy way to get this horse but not this coat, the uncommon coat… simply in chapter 2, the first bounty hunter quest. Before you chase after him through the river. Get off your horse and ride his.

Yes I got random common horses. I first saved the game and reloaded a couple of times. Then I tried the run away method this video shows. I was just very lucky. I bet next playthrough I wont get it this easy. I think a thoroughbred grey also spawned.

Theres a trapper close to van horn, theres a npc that spawns near the trapper too who usually has this horse. Got mine today. And i was riding a turkoman already. Currently in chapter 3 too

Every black bear will run from you grizzlies won’t
grizzlies will run too, if you are on foot and dont move. they will run up very close and try to scare you, if you are brave enough to not move at all it will run away after that.

I think there is a guaranteed way to get this horse, I was eyeing on this horse and tried like the videos in yt but no luck.
But at the end of chapter 2 when Cornwell comes for Dutch in valentine his aid have this horse but he leaves in the cut scene no chance there.
During chapter 3 molly'mission where uncle interrupt and we go rob a wagon with uncle, Charles and bill, there when we hide at a barn, there will be a big fight at night, there is an enemy with this horse when you kill him it runs off, and I ran after that horse and mounted it and started feeding it in the middle of the fight and somehow I finished the mission without dying and after the cut scene this horse was showing in the map as my temporary horse...lucky me... mounted it and ran to the stable. I think there may be a better way to get it if someone tried with trial and error basis and make a video on how to get the piebald tobiano for sure in chapter 3. Good luck guys hope it was some how helpful.
Is the Tobiano different in behavior to other hungarian halfbloods? Coz they always buck me of when predators come close
no, every horse has the same level of bravery, they will buck you up all the same if you dont controll them right. all those "this horse is the bravest" videos are myths. bravery depends on your bonding to the horse, the distance between the threat an the horse and about how fast you pressed the calm button.

Although I will say that the dark brown Turkoman (I can't remember the proper name for that exact coat color) is by far the bravest I've had, and I've played the game in its entirety 6 times. I'm on my 6th play right now and am going for my second 100% as I'm now playing on the PS5 I got for Christmas.
The Turk is the horse I've always used to complete the Exotics challenges as you have to go to the swamps and go in croc-ridden waters, and it absolutely never lets me down! THAT is the only horse I that has shown me to consistently be extremely brave!

Yes to some extent. Bravery in my opinion is better but stamina is lower for Hungarian half bred

The stats are BS on these horses. ANY horse can outrun enemies or catch up to a train. The important thing is not being thrown as shown here.
I think thats not entirely true. Although its very important to not been thrown when around predators but i noticed arabians are noticably easier to ride, (making tight curves, short turn radius, and great acceleration). Its specifically noticeable when u r in saint denis and in tight spaces this horse is a nightmare to handle but arabian deals flawlessly

You can find one in the wild just explore. I just don't like this farming like strategy and like to naturally discover horses.
Although you may not find this coat but Hungarian Half bred can be found in the wild with different coat.
"brave and battle tested" ok, Im sorry I have to take that from you guys, but every horse has the exact same bravery. How fast a horse gets spooked is about your bonding, the distance between the horse and the threat, while its also affected by how fast you calmed it. Thats the three factors which are exactly the same for every breed. anything else is just misconception and myths. thats why people are arguing for years about which is the bravest horse, but there has never been a clear and official answer to that.
Horses don't have the exact same bravery. Others may actually be more skittish. The horse being brave sometimes is random but not the same
I had the brown turkoman from the horse meat mission and it’s great but to close to an alligator or cougar and it bucks me off Hungarian doesn’t do that ever
@elroy5080 the turkoman is great all round and I think that's the problem lol. Mine bucks me off at the sight of cougars. Idk where I read this but they aren't war horses 100%

Then went on the hunting trip with hosea, BUT before going, his shire was hitched at the same hitching rail thingy the piebald was, but thinking about it, I don't recall seeing the piebald there when I got on the shire. SOOOOO maybe the shire somewhat replaced her or booted her off the hitching rail

I got this beauty when i was not looking for it at all, was doing your video of making the legend of the east satchel, was searching for a third horse for my bison pelt like you recommend on the other video,
And voila, first try, it was there, so happy, i love it because it's big, and has a unique coat, even tho it's stats are inferior the pearlino Andalusian, i still prefer this one, more than my MFT, just perfect.

This method has yet to produce this horse for me. Usually all I see is a Belgian draft and Suffolk punch.
I have found it at other camps though, all female.
I’ve actually just found it lol. The horse didn’t spawn in the exact location shown, but I found it at a camp just on top of one of the hills, so you can find it in the general area.
My horse is a mare, which is fine, although I would’ve liked a stallion.

I have the horse in all of my significant saves. I have found it in 2 separate camps, but it's always female.
In my saves I have males. The lawmen in Annesburg rides them. A few hundred in bounties, but I got what I wanted.
Edit: I finally found it at the bounty hunters camp. It's female like all of the others I've found in camps.

This doesnt spawn anymore. You have to steal it from an NPC
Only modded horses are this brave. I got the Piebald and it's the same as any horses, they all will buck you off when they saw a cougar.

There's one thing I don't get yet from horses. I imagine breeds share similar traits, but, are there specific things that specific horses would do? I'm asking because I got a Hungarian Halfbred the daple dark gray, but it did bucked me off when we came across a cougar, and I have level 4 bonding.
The "type of horse" aka work, race or war usually determines their speed, acceleration, health and stamina stats. The handling aka heavy, standard or elite usually determines how easy it is to maneuver the horse (such as in sharp turns). It is believed that war horses are more courageous, however courage seems to be a hidden or randomized trait in each horse, and the same breed can behave differently depending on the situation. I personally have had american stardarbreds (race horses) be braver and easier to deal with during a shootout than a turkoman (war/race horse). My suggestion with spooked horses is spamming the calm button and not forcing them to move, because most of them will buck you off regardless. I have had horses trample cougars to death just by calming and keeping them still while the cougar got close enough to get stepped on. My current black american standardbred Nyx has faced grizzlies head on and not budged, so it might just be luck. Some people say to discard your horse and then get the same one again, and the courage of that new horse may be better or worse, but I can't for sure tell you that this works. So maybe test things out? Or change the way you usually make the horse behave in these situations.

Yes i got a female today but not from this npc encounter. Plus im sure the genders are randomly generated

What about the speed and acceleration?
Does it have to be that exact NPC camp or can the horse also spawn at any other camp?
It can spawn at other camps throughout the map as well

I got one today but not by spawning it at a NPC camp but from the mission in chapter 3 where Molly wants to talk to Arthur about Dutch and gets interrupted by Uncle. You rob a coach and get attacked by several Cornwall guardmen. Turned out some of them are riding a Piebald Tobiano and its quite easy to get one.
