    • @MakeItorBreakItNow

      there might be two a couple options; see if you can find a user manual online, or maybe its glued in place? Which in that case you're going to need to use a solvent. The seal might also be slid down a channel, or the screws are really well hidden. Let me know if this helps.

    Thank you for the video. My roommate threw out the old seal because it was ripping apart, so I don’t exactly remember what it looked like other than it was brown and only had little ridges on the bottom/top (not a T maybe, it was ripped to shreds). Also, my shower door only has the screws for the water catch (the first piece you took off). Any idea if this would still work for my shower or if there is another seal? I’ve been searching everywhere to find a seal.

    • @MakeItorBreakItNow
      @MakeItorBreakItNow  11 месяцев назад

      Not sure how old the door might be. At some point they likely switched over to silicon seals like this one, since that's all I see. Some doors have brand names on them in the craziest, places, find that and it should help you with your search.

    Question for you-My drip rail is held by two screws that are closer together than the screws on your shower door (yours are on the end I believe?). The screw holes are basically warped and one screw has completely come off. Without buying a whole new drip rail, do you think it is easier to 1.) Drill new holes into the shower door and rail (i.e. maybe located on the ends similar to where your screws are?) or 2.) Just get larger screws and keep them in place where they currently are? The threads on the screws are ok, but I think where they are screwed into the frame is the issue. Thoughts? (and if I'm not making much sense, I apologize! I've been trying to figure this out for a week now!)
