3:39 this sketch was the thumbnail and it triggered a memory I couldn’t quite put my finger on. I don’t remember this female cast member’s name-maybe she wasn’t, but this sketch sticks out for me as one of the most hilarious of the entire series😂😂😂just the look on her face and her ridiculous answers and John Candy’s reactions crack me the hell up!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Brenda Donohue, 1950-1979 (circa). What a talent and breathtaking beauty. Sadly, she didn't live much past this. She is reported to have died of cancer in 1979 those some reports say it was a car accident. Either way, we lost a chance to see her develop further. RIP

So Moe Green's full first name was Maurice. Interesting. Also, on the SCTV News sketch . . . don't you get the sense that Floyd Robertson was SCTV's news director, the way he chewed out Earl for botching his San Francisco assignment?
Good god this Brenda cuts me deep in the funny bone. She is so pretty and funny. Her delivery is a miracle. I never thought anyone from Canada could be funny, but who knew?
Plenty of examples here of why SCTV would not fly in today's social climates. On a lighter note: they successfully showed how ANYTHING can be funny, viewed from a certain perspective 🙂
It always seemed to me like writing was his forte, and he didn't hang around as an actor for long, so maybe he didn't think he was that funny either...

Joan of Arc with a Canadian accent, lol. It never gets old!
Nope 👎🏻🙅🏻!
Well of course, she was French……Canadian. Born in Chicoutimi. Maudit!
@@imashmenge7981 What 😦 I meant 😏 to say was it never gets old 👵🏻 with Joan of Arc with a Canadian 🇨🇦 accent.

“I hears this bush and I looks over…”. That’s Canadian alright.
@@imashmenge7981 Yep 👍🏻, it certainly is.

Wondering who that was. That’s too bad, she was funny. And pretty
"Well, he's God, you know. He can wear whatever he wants."
“ If I was King of the foressssst .. “ Hilarious .

She is hilarious!!
Who is that actress? She was great!
@@johnshuttee6914 Brenda Donohue. She died of cancer in 1978, I think? Not long after this, I’d guess. I loved her in this skit.
@@italoblu I had no idea. How sad. She was so good.
@@VHScape So good! The way she says I was getting a bucket uh water has stayed in my mind for 40 years.
She really added something to the mix.

"She was just a flying nun"
Ya seen one flying nun, ya seen 'em all...

I know, right? Bob sure let her down.
B'nai of Moolah
18:49 Andrea Martin looks like she could do a great Ralph Macchio🤣🤣
The cut Andrea Martin's How to fake an orgasm skit!

Joan of Arc didnt have a good lawyer. Let that be a lesson folks. Divinely inspired yet still in need of quality legal counsel.
🤣🤣🤣 18:10
That dance Andrea does at the end 😂😂😂😂

Why is Harold Ramis the featured player? He was the only one that wasn't ever funny. 🤔
It always seemed to me like writing was his forte, and he didn't hang around as an actor for long, so maybe he didn't think he was that funny either...
He went on to do movies
