    • @Awarsing
      @Awarsing  Год назад

      Hi,
      You might need to made some adjustment on where the hinge sits to the edge of the door/glass in step 12 & 14
      With some assistant (pop the glass guard back on step 13 ), you can loosen the screws to the bottom 2:41 and move hinge closer to the edge of the door/glass. Secure the screws back in.
      If still not closing, adjust the top hinge as well 3:04

    Hello great video, I have a question about the back screws on 2:09, the two fronts tighten but the back two don't and I'm not sure what's wrong

    • @Awarsing
      @Awarsing  2 года назад +1

      Sorry to hear!
      Only 2 things to check
      1. Make sure the top is sitting flat on the glass at 2:00
      As this can cause the screws to mis-align and not tighten
      You might need to unscrew the other 2 and place the top back on
      2. Swap the screws around with the ones that do tighten

      Hi,
      Not with the IKEA original setup.
      There are 3rd party extenders you can buy to modified the height of the shelves.
      My Kotobukiya 1/8 scales fits okay in the DETOLF height wise.
      Ideally I would recommend a different product, there is the IKEA Besta, which is modular
      Or a metal shelving

      Hi, thanks for sharing your concerns.
      Sorry if you or people you know had a dangerous experience with the IKEA DETOLF.
      If you haven't already please send any incidents to IKEA .
      As well as report to your countries consumer authorities regarding your concern on safety with the product.
      This section isn't affiliate with IKEA and I do not work for them.
      It would also be handy if you have any suggestions for a great alternative glass cabinet (preferable available internationally) to the DETOLF for displaying figures.

      @Awarsing same. I would also want to make videos to post on here of reviewing figures, but I'm not sure how to go on about that, especially with all the editing and other things that go into making a video. I got so many figures still in their box that I want to open, but I'm waiting to get started on making my review videos.

      @@VshinkuV Oohhhh!
      That's pretty cool! RUclips is a great resource, there's quite a few videos on starting a channel.
      Go and make some videos and I'm happy to have a look and give some pointers!
