And the car that went ahead to block the road was parked closer to the start of their leg than it should have been, along with being right around that corner where they couldn’t see it

@@aurboda rolling is good if you cant dissipate the energy another way, like if someone runs u over or you fall from a high, or if you have no gear that can protect you from burns and bruises (like if u go bare handed or with plain clothes, but in these cases where they have protection pads which allaws them to slide without any injury it's the preferred method. And even without gear, sliding could be preferred cuz it's more controlled that rolling it out.
Really good video to remind us to not to get complacent. There’s so many videos with perfect runs by brilliant skaters but it takes a 1000 crashes to get to that level. Even world class skaters like Josh can just slide out. Thanks Josh - great stuff. Stay real.

If ur making urself an obscured obstacle reguardless of the direction of traffic, than ur just asking to get hit... I'm not excusing them going downhill in opposing traffic, but im not 100% sure if they were going in the opposing direction. Because some roads where I live, in NC, are that narrow and are still two way roads...

So true. I love skateboarding and all, but I always wondered how so many people can support and cheer these ignorant guys in search for their "ultimate adrenaline kick" up. They think they have everything under control but they will never have. Beside of the facts you mentioned and that the car would be totally damaged, the board, the person itself or other parts that are moving in highspeed could definitely kill the driver who might also have children in the backseats that would loose a parent then. Doing something like that should be more than just illegal on used roads.. If this kind of stuff should be alright, then you could also simply justify a smoking person next to a fuel pump.

The clips certainly show a high level of skill and the journey towards it. A number of the incidents could have been avoided with a grippier wheel choice. These wheels are slidey, yet also get one into dangerous situations at high speeds. #1 was plain negligence. Stay on your side and stay safe out there. Your videos are great. Please keep being a role model by respecting the rules of the road and the countries roadway legalities you are riding in.

Totally agree with the grippier wheel thing too. #1 was on a road that we had closed down with walkie talkies otherwise I wouldn't have sent it that hard (especially on wheels as slidey as snakes).
