    It is alright to play Gu Zheng for non-chinese right? 🥺 i feel shy to buy, idk why. I dream to try and learn this beautiful instrument tooo, I’ve been practicing Dizi for years now. I don’t perform in public but I play to feel happy even though I’m the only listener 😂. Your video is great 🥰 I feel inspired to save money and buy one 🥺.
    I need to ask advise which is best to buy for me as a beginner but one that I can use for years🥺🙏🏼.

      @@yaomosuiguai UwU ❤️ so nice of you.. thank you so much!! I watched many of your covers earlier! So amazing✨😍
      Also, I want to ask if it’s the wooden parts of the GuZheng that makes the sound quality good or is it the strings that is making it sound good?🥺 I’m nervous to buy my own cause it’s so expensive and I want to buy what you can recommend 🙏🏼🥺-love from 🇵🇭❤️

    • @yaomosuiguai
      @yaomosuiguai  3 года назад

      @@riicesea1330 I would say both parts contribute to the sound quality. The vibration of the strings makes the instrument sound and the wooden part make the resonance part. Also, the price difference is mostly because of the wood of the Guzheng. You need to think about your environmental humidity when you choose the right one for yourself as well.:)

    oh, I want to learn to play one, but with my living situation I can not practice with instruments that can't be "silenced". I discovered an electric guzheng on RUclips I thought would be perfect, just plug it in an amplifier and use headphones, but I can't find it sold anywhere now.
    I did subscribe hoping to see more guzheng tutorials from you. BTW, your english is great.

    • @yaomosuiguai

      Thank you. Hopefully my tutorial can help. :) for electronic guitars and acoustic guitars, because they use different styles of strings, the electronic ones have been mute without plug in. For Guzheng maybe not the case since I never see electronic strings for it. Maybe it is under development, I am not sure. Actually, the big size makes it sound loud. I believe what u see is used on stage and the aim for plugging in is to make Guzheng sound even louder. U can buy half Zheng instead. It sounds lighter but good enough for practice. Have fun.:)

    • @yaomosuiguai
      @yaomosuiguai  4 года назад

      U can buy a carpet under it. The thing makes it loud is vibration. As long as u find a way to make it less vibrate, the sound can be muted a little bit. For me, I usually do not fully remove the cover when I play it. Just leave the left side half covered. U can also try to block the three holes beneath it. I have already made the second tutorial. In the third one, I might talk about it.

    What Guzheng can I buy in Amazon? the most cheap, I dont have much money, sorry. And what microphone can I use for Guzheng? ( any ) what is your microphone

    • @yaomosuiguai
      @yaomosuiguai  3 года назад +1

      Personally, I do not think Amazon is a good place to buy Guzheng and I do not recommend you to buy a very cheap one. But definitely, you can consider about second hand. Just check the condition of the instrument - little dents are acceptable but no cracks on the body. Maybe you can find one on eBay. I suggest you buy a full-size Guzheng-sounds much better and did not cost you a lot more than the half-size one. The brand I recommend you to buy is Dunhuang (敦煌). It is a well-known brand for traditional Chinese musical instrument and their products are reliable.
      I do have a blue microphone, but not use it too much. for practice, I use my cellphone, or iPad to record. Then I will listen to my own crap and try to do better. On my channel, I do have some processed video music pieces. Some of them are recorded by the Blue microphone (ruclips.net/video/mqbv64Yah1E/видео.html), some recorded by my $100 (bought in 2014) Sony HDR-CX440 recorder (ruclips.net/video/n-aQB9AF1QU/видео.html). To be honest, I do not think there are big differences in the soundtrack qualities as an amateur. And we do not have a studio to do it - the kid upstairs just running all the time and dogs around might bark in the middle of recording. So, I do not think the microphone matters a lot.
      But learn sth. about video and audio software to process them if you want theme better. Those things help a lot. I am using shortcut for video and Audacity for audio. Both of them are free.
      Happy Thanksgiving!

      @Sound Kaleido Thank you very much for the contribution, I have been looking for videos of a good guzheng for a long time, what happens is that I live in Venezuela and well ... the economy, and I am 12 years old then, I have small monthly savings and I wait in 2 years to buy a good one, I saw the two videos and they seem great, I'll see what is done, sorry for the inconvenience, I will comment on my doubts,
      thank you very much again and happy thanksgiving
