As someone who grew up in south central literally blocks away from 55th and normandie, its hot af. I dont think people really understand how crazy it is, I lost 4 friends while growing up and NONE of them banged. I even thought about carrying when i was in HS because i felt like i was going to die. Luckily i went off to college, graduated, and came back to LA but i live in a waaay better neighborhood now lol
Living in south central is traumatic af. I usually dont like when people go to the ghetto to talk to people because it feels like theyre exploiting us but Andrew has always been respectful to everyone and genuinely seems like a great guy. As for CMAC idk man...hes always trying to give back to the community and stuff but his mental illness doesnt allow him to leave the guns behind but if they can get him on meds i think he'd better off. And if they let him live somewhere else other than L.A because its too hot here especially for him with that tat on his head.
To any kids who still live in south central...be careful and try not to grow up too fast even though i know it comes with living there. Also, stay in school and maybe you can find your passion. My heart goes out to all of you going through this stuff because i know its hard af but you got this.

If I was In Mac's situation I don't think I would be ok, let alone with the mental illnesses he has. It's pretty unfair that they basically locked him in one of the most gang-infested areas in the entire world and then told him he's not allowed to leave and he's not allowed to have the means to protect himself.
X is right though, if you take the person out of it and look at just the pure facts its hard to see why he shouldn't go to prison but damn. It just feels wrong because he seems like a nice guy and he's out there helping people and giving advice and being positive and they're just going to lock him up when they really set him up for failure. It just feels like there has to be a better way to handle justice in the modern world.
Regardless of your political views or how you stand on punishment vs rehabilitation the prison industrial complex has got to go. Its wild to me that the constitution is so wise in so many things, and they even fought a damn war over slavery and then just left in there...

97% is federal, wow imagine my little county is 98.2% because everyone pleads guilty. Even the innocent. You have to be a proud person in order to go to trial. Imagine facing 1 year in jail for a nothing charge that you didn't do. Well a prosecutor says we will let you do no time and only probation if you plead guilty. 9.82 times out of 10 people take those deals. The prosecutor knows if it goes to trial their chances of winning are very slim, but they don't care. They know it most likely will not go to trail, and if it does guess what the public defender is getting paid by the state. Unless you have money of course, and then they ask you to plead guilty to get the conviction on paper, but immediately seal everything related to it, and it's like nothing ever happened. No one can look it up, and it will never affect you.

The lower reciever is what has the serial number on it. You can buy any upper you want but its not a gun until you put it on the lower reciever with the serial number. You also cant just swap uppers from the lower recievers. Its technically a felony to do so.

But it does kind of annoying me that I can't just have a pistol to defend myself. But I can just go to any gun store and buy and ar-15-ak-47 platform rifle with a 7 day waiting period but you need a license for a handgun.

And ye there is also a way of not being a hood mf with a list of crimes include the possession and transportation of controlled substances in 2014, grand theft in 2015, attempted second degree armed robbery in 2017, and possession of firearm as a felon in 2021 and 2022 respectively. Him being in jail is good thing for society.
