A very strong African Honey Bee colony was saved from the base of a water feature at a bead and Breakfast in Pretoria, South Africa..

This one was a strong calm colony that allowed us to work through them with ease. It is the beginning of Spring and we see a lot of bees, brood and honey. We used the trusty beevac to remove and transport the bees and then safely transferred them into the Langstroth hive we had already placed the comb in.
