I think you get it right. What most people want to watch is this really personal approach to an instrument. And in this direction, you rock it! I’m looking ahead to buy this model of classic/modern acoustic guitar. Cheers!
Really nice playing. One very minor suggestion though is that with nylon strings, vibrato sounds best with a motion parallel to the neck (like a violin player does) rather than the sideways motion that works best on a steel string. Also, you would probably be better with the NTX crossover style instrument instead of the classical guitar form factor of the NCX. I really love your touch and your sound regardless.
Great review, Lewie! Hey, did you find the "battery compartment noise" issue that Peng Chen reports in a comment below? I´m just about to press the trigger for an NCX3C and wouldn´t like at all to find that noise...
Great review. Thanks. I have the NTX3 and love the sound. However, the neck is too narrow for my hands/fingers. After this review I’m even more convinced the NCX5 is the right choice.
@Thatcher R yes, both NCX5 and NTX 5 has truss rod builtin, I bought a NCX 5 , it is nice one good for many styles, but I found it has noise issues near the battery holder, I returned it. I did a sound test review, also talked about the noise issue, please click the link to watch. m.ruclips.net/video/4iAEDwv6CPs/видео.html
@@MrThuraKo I think that my NCX3 is loud when I play it with Savarez 510AJ (high tension strings). The basses are very strong and present with very harmonic mid frequences. I had the luck to find a great model.
by far the most useful review out there, thanks so much mate, and great playing!

Great review mate, and bloody fantastic playing! Keep up the good work 💪
Thanks William!
You are a great player with a lot of feeling and big presence !! And the way you present this nylonstring is just the right way !!🍀👌
Great sound, playing and guitar! Subscribed
Great playing bro and great tone !
Sounds ruddy lovely! I have a crappy old nylon I have held off on upgrading but this is tempting me big time ❤️
It’s a great guitar man…. Haven’t played anything else for weeks! X
Sounds so good. Great review! Hope they give you that guitar now, I think it has chosen you.
Thanks Harry! Me too! Haha
Sounds great. Yamaha engineering is top notch. :-)
Really is a great guitar
The intro song is amazing! Keep up
Great review, Lewie!

Very helpful, thank you.

Absolutely incredible guitars
I prefer the NTX as its a little more like a steel neck....cheerz
Yes the NTX is also a really awesome guitar. Love them both
nice playing 👍👍
Great taste in guitars dude: 2 eletric Charvels and acoustic Yamahas. How I understand you
Thank you Diogo! Thanks for watching bro! 🙌🙌
Does the ncx5 and ntx5 have a truss rod builtin for neck adjustment? Thanks. Ask many online shops sellers say no.

Which strings do you use on this video? I’ve got a Yamaha NCX3. Do you know the sound difference between NCX3 and NCX5?
How’s the acoustic sound volume of the guitar? I have NCX900R and NCX1200R both are acoustically quiet, 1200R has got a bit more volume.

@@carmelodistefano1572 Thank you so much. I am planning to buy NCX3.. 😊
I think they are made in China?
NCX5 & NTX5 are made in Japan the 1 & 3 are made in China
