I didn't encounter any bugs with this pack (yet), but after talking to some of my friends this morning it sounds like they had a few issues with the career. @Dzastin 0713 ahh yes, the *player* should have to manually set the likes and dislikes of every npc in the game, rather than the game devs actually bothering to integrate their new system with the existing content

@@marinary1326 Lol okay try to find a reason to be mad, if it was the same likes and dislikes every time the game would get so boring, it being randomly generated makes it fun and different every time
@@marinary1326 The npcs have generated likes and dislikes, you can ask them about hobbies, their favorite colors, etc., but it makes sense that the sims you make would have the likes and dislikes you choose.

The little oven that can go on the counter is perfect for tiny homes.
actually they take more space in kitchen, it’s better to use regular ones or oven without the top part
@@maryamhajiyeva1619 I'm pretty sure you can use where the stovetop is as a counter as well? If so you can have a one-countertop kitchen! Way smaller.
@@eroticmanhole THat's worked in my game. I've also seen Sims do that with sinks that have dishwashers under them (had to use MoveObjects to make that though, so I guess it's a glitch).
This pack kicked down the door and said “I heard y’all like building?” And the RUclips simmers went insane

@@Eventide215 Only issue I have is that they still can't place the cabinet doors on the correct side for the islands. The doors shouldn't be facing the chairs. Forever a pet peeve of mine.

This pack looks great! Can't wait for it to go on sale in a few months haha. I will say - I wish TS4 base game had been built more like this game pack. It's great that they're finally making customization a priority. They need to keep going in this direction - connect the gameplay to build mode. Now to create a pack that connects the gameplay to CAS...
There's a basegame career that does. I'm blanking on the name, but you can make over other sims when you level up.
They NEED to just stop and release Sims 5 with all the improvements in the base game

interior designing is literally my dream job, that’s why I got sims 4 in the first place. So I’m so INCREDIBLY EXCITED to get this pack
I hope you will be able to live your dream! There's a lot of 3D simulators to practice decorating, something like the Sims 4, but you can make an actual portfolio with it. :) Good luck!

this is the first pack in a very long time that I've instantly felt like I NEED to have it because it looks so good. as a builder, I love how it incorporates building into your gameplay and I feel like its going to make me fall back in love with gameplay as a whole in TS4
I like that with the career you can slowly renovate lots and actually get paid for it. Rather than just going in and feeling you need to renovate everything so it looks good even though you can still do that.
saying this out of love, do you. but watch plumbellas video. glitches tend to make it unplayable

@@loanpefoev wouldn’t recommend because the pack + base game only include two design styles & it would be hard for someone with no other packs to decorate if they ask you for something different :/ it’s up to you but just letting you know!

Ok but this means you can make 2 tile kitchens- a mini fridge with the little oven on top, dishwasher in a single counter. I cant wait to do a kitchenette in a tiny house.
This looks and feels like custom content, it's that good. It sounds like an exaggeration to say this, but it feels like a whole new game. Incredible.
Only problem is I don't see myself using other furniture anymore.. it's just so good with all this modular stuff. Like why ever use a normal entertainment stand now? Why use other couches? I do really like this direction though, it's just it kinda makes everything else in the game feel extremely outdated now.
People who make CC could really get some good results out of the new pack
@blue Yes, it says that The Sims team is actually looking at CC and seeing what we want from the game rather than pushing their own agenda. They see we want our Sims 3 customization back, and CC usually does that with modular items. It started with beds having a separate frame and mattress and progressed to much more being like that. Now it's actually part of this pack, but that is also a bit annoying because it makes this pack FAR better for things like closets, entertainment stands, kitchens, etc than all of the older furniture.. Like this one pack single-handedly made a lot of the other furniture in the game obsolete.

I love the look of this pack, I just wish the Sims has given us cushions to place on sofas and beds! Some of the sofas in the sims look so uncomfortable

Imagine placing fixer upper houses in an entire neighborhood or save file and trying to see if you can eventually renovate every part of the houses as you level through the game. So fun!

Just played this pack. Best addition to the game ever. It really makes me feel I'm connected to the Sim's world and making an impact to my community's lives.
I'm excited for this mainly because I'm just starting to learn how to build better, and customizing things look so fun!

This is one of the first packs in a LOOOOOONG time that I feel like is actually worth its price. There's a lot of stuff to mess with in there, and it all seems like REALLY good quality. Like the kind of quality we'd get from CC creators. Modular sofas, separated ovens and stoves, actually attractive swatches for counters and cabinets. Like...they're taking notes from CC creators, that much is obvious, and let me just say... _IT'S ABOUT FREAKIN' TIME!!!_ This pack legitimately seems like the kind of quality I am okay with supporting. I will give them my money for this one, for sure. Good job, Sims team! This is the kind of quality the community has been asking for, so keep up the good work!

But what are their requirements for being a game changer. They must be contractually obligated to do something in order to be in the program right? Do they have to make videos about the new dlcs? That alone is of course major advertising for EA as the rest of us get major sneak peaks of what the new content looks like.
@@naryainc I´m pretty sure that after you hit an amount of subscribers, EA sends you the packs early, so people can know what to expect and hype people up, cause EA has been sending Kayak packs since she hit 20000 subscribers

I'm super excited for this pack and it gives me hope that they will make a pack for the simmers who love CAS. Like Sims 3 ambitions with the stylist career. I want a pack with a ton of Cas stuff that has a playable stylist career where you makeover Sims based on their likes and dislikes and personality. You could interview them and it would be amazing

I literally went to Interior Design school BECAUSE of The Sims. Both TS1 and TS2. Skipped TS3 and late to the party with TS4. I am very excited to add this pack and it will likely be in the next bundle I purchase. I wish I could attach a pic of my builds for you.

I think what is important about this pack, something we all would do well to acknowledge, is the quality. Even if the theme of decorating/building isn't up your alley, I think we can all still agree that the quality of this pack-the items, the variety, the amount of content you're actually getting-is a step above the others they've released recently (aside from Paranormal Stuff, that was also an improvement over others before it.) Modular furniture, nice swatches, replayable active career... The Sims team appears to have stepped up their game. I think that no matter who you are, whether you like building or CAS or Live Mode, we all can appreciate the improvement in quality with this pack.
(Glitches aside...hopefully they get ironed out quickly.)

Honestly shocked it took this long for us to get this pack, it just makes so much sense! What is one of the main thing people enjoy doing on the sims? Design! Adding game play to that is *chefs kiss *
Tbh, I got this pack for the sectional sofas, but putting an oven in a counter then raising the counter allows stacked ovens (only bottom is usable) which is often realistic.
Im going to buy the sims soon, and this is going to be the first pack im buying
