I have to agree I would have NEVER thought that a Yamaha Virago would lend itself into such a Gorgeous Cafe Racer Style of machine ! What an incredible bike !! I can still hear the Telltale Crappy Virago Starter Problem still exists however...Those Starters and gears were always problematic...for everyone. What a nice bike though!!!
I came home from work on Friday after a rough week. First thing I do is look at your new video. Felt better immediately. I wouldn't have thought you could turn that XV1000 into a great cafe bike either. Thanks for the pick me up.
+Dan Protz Thank you my friend for sharing your feelings and thoughts. I'm really glad you liked this project. Keep watching, because next friday there will be a very special video. :) Cheers.
Oh boy! You've just showed me the project I have had in mind. A TR1 with a small hanging seat and a better looking swingarm and upside down forks with better brakes. It will be my 1st attempt and I'm not a mechanic so not sure it's a good 1st bike to build. I do have access to a draughtman to design CNC work for me so that's not a big problem and I am going to attempt to build the parts in carbon rather than metal or plastic. Still in planning and infant stages but these videos are very informative and opens my eyes to the possibilities.Thank you!
I remember seeing this bike a while agowhile searching for beautiful cafe racer online, and a detail that I loved was the exhaust pipe and the beautiful lines of the tank, time later turned to find but fails to find it, now months after your bring her to me again ... you talk a lot of passion in your videos, love the cafe racer, because I'll tell you one thing, I see passion in what you do and transmit in a wonderful way with every week ... Perhaps the perfect "cup of tea" for me is not beautiful bike last week, perhaps the perfect "cup of tea" for me is RACER TV ...
+Turbo Dreams Wow. What a great comment you shared here. Thank you so much my friend for your kind words. If you liked this video, you absolutely going to love the video of next week. It's not about the best bike in the world, but i think is my best video until now. I already saw it 20 times. Lol. And again, thank you for your support. Cheers.
+RACER TV the best bikes in the world for me not from large factories, coming from those who bleed their hands during construction, and I like that every week you saw that the next will be your best video , you're beating yourself, better every time...
what impress me the most is the individual, like christian did with this project is truly unique. but I'm more impressed with his persistence and determination to built something which many will think or tell that's impossible. those guys which have such a talent like christian i really admire them. i have a CB500F 2013 model and look at it to figure it out if it would be possible to make it a cafe racer and i wonder if i have half of the talent like christian here what would be achievable.
+ripmax333 If you are looking for this kind of talent and creativity, i recommend you to search on youtube for one of my videos called "the secret of creativity". I'm sure you will love it. Good luck for your project. Cheers.
I think there is a new style of cafe racers developing, where they have the leanness of the old school, but with aerodynamics, reliability and functionality of modern bikes, such as the two in this video. that is my opinion, Friends.
I prefer the gentle bends like on the the old Vincent's. More efficient and better performance. I guess we are now in the days where Beauty is ugliness and.....Ugliness is beauty🤢😝 The tank is nice but it sits too high.
Awesome.....well planned.....beautiful.......nice you folks give folks a format to showcase the average guys build...to high end....nice wide variety of brands.as well..THANK YOU! VIDEO AND BIKE BUILD.....WELL DONE!
It's an cool bike with some serious sculpting technique in the tank and overall body shape off the bike. The Italians are known for there ability in metallurgy and sculpting of metals, just like they are known for having an eye for striking shapes,so it's no wonder this bike is a Bella figura.
hey RACER TV, i'm enjoying every video on your channel. thank you for brought us most beautiful cafe racer bikes all around the world. i hope someday i can build one of them.
+Nicky Aldyano Thank you my friend for your kind words. I'm realy glad you enjoy it. Good luck for your future project. Dream, and it will happens. It is just a matter of time. :) Cheers.
+RACER TV you're very welcome friend! i notice that you always mention 'i don't want to talk too much. just see how beautiful the bike is', love it, and your british accent! if you have any suzuki thunder gsx 250 to review, please post the video. cheers
+Luiz Fernando Postingel Quirino Pois. :) Fique atento. Um abraço.
+MykiHell Indeed, but i think this fuel tank only fits well in a skinny frame. I'm not sure if this is the ideal tank for a Monster. But thanks for your comment. Cheers.
+Chris Harris And as always, Thank you my friend for your comment. I wouldn't say all bikes can be a cafe racer. Because there are some bikes that demand so many changes, that would be a project financially prohibitive. Cheers.
Saludos.
+someguy I must say, that the orange bike in this video, is only an example about using the Virago model in a cafe racer project. But is not going to be included in the next election of the 2015 best Cafe Racer. But I'm glad you liked both. Thanks for your comment. Cheers.
RACER TV Well: cdn.blessthisstuff.com/imagens/stuff/img_docs_chops_yamaha_virago.jpg The one on this video, although beautiful and made with brilliant craftsmanship looks too busy as if it is trying too hard. The far more prosaic Virago in the picture is, in it's simplicity, stunning. It is a true "motorcycle" with the motor taking the centre stage in this project. Simple, elegant, purposeful. I want one.
Hallo! Would you please advise me, if an 1991 honda steed 600cc is a good base to biuld a cafe? Engine overhaul, wheelset, subframe, tank, forks, other traverse to shorten the trail, general design... What else shoul I consider?
Any bike can be turned into a cafe racer.. ANY BIKE! Thats what separates the few true craftsmen from the rest of the narrow minded sheep of the world.
+nonya biz Well, i wouldn't say "Any bike". Maybe "almost Any bike" would be better :) . I think turning almost any bike into a cafe racer is relatively easy. The hard part, is making a difficult bike look really good. And in that matter, this project is definitely a great achievement. Thanks for sharing your opinion. Cheers.
+jl jl Obrigado amigo.
+Arthur Palma There is no perfect bike for a cafe racer project. Everything depends of what every person needs, and what he most like. I don't see any problem with the CB1300 for a cafe racer project. I only recommend trying to create an horizontal stance, just to achieve a more retro look. Good luck. Cheers.
Very nice lines. Aggressively beautiful. A lot of modern bikes try to achieve this look but are not simple enough nor have the lines to achieve what this has. Really excellent engineering on the triple clamps and sub frame. There has been a lot of work on this project. Not my favourite motor but it gets good treatment here. These motors were a bit light on in character but maybe that has been modified. Excellent presentation in the video. On another issue, I saw this bike on Pipeburn and it looks like a very good one for Racer TV. www.pipeburn.com/home/2015/08/21/bmw-r50-cytech.html The Pipeburn reviewer, while giving a good appraisal of the work that went into the bike, does not undertsand the true nature of traidtional bikes but I am sure you could do better. If I may make one suggestion for improvement in your very enjoyable video clips it would be to also give more insight into what these bikes are like to actually ride because to me this is more about the true nature of the bike than the appearance. I realise however, the great difficulties this could create for you because many people, probably through lack of experience, appreciate bikes that are compromised in their engineering and feel.
+Thomas Elliott I'm glad you also liked this one. Thanks for your suggestion. The BMW seems to be also a very nice bike. The problem is that i'm always finding others even better, and with more photography material available. I also understand your suggestion about the feeling of the riding each bike, but according to most Racer TV Fans, they are looking for ideas and inspirational projects. I hope you understand. But thanks for your help. Cheers.
RACER TV To be honest I find your subjects to be more style driven than a real development of motorcycles. Any really nice bikes seem to be an accident. Good luck. Hope you win the lottery more often.
RACER TV English isn't my native language but I think he's asking if we will see any K100 cafe racers in the near future? In any case, these bikes by Moretti are beautiful, thanks for sharing !
- iza - Lol. You are right. "pipe works" can be interpreted in that way. Thanks for your help, and for your comment. I'm glad you liked this bike. Cheers.
+Gregory Parker To be honest, i never expected so much success with this video. It seems that this project is really special for the majority. Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
gotta say, that last pic with the gal sitting backwards... is hot as hell! makes me feel old though... as I know I'll never sleep with anything like that again! :(
This time I am not agree with your constantation. This is not a first great Virago project. I saw nice conversions by Hageman in the states, also in the Netherlands by Dutch cafe racers, great bike with Benelli Mojave tank, custom subframe, Motolana seat and Ducati USD fork.
+ZOS No problem, i honestly respect diferent opinions. Sometimes is just a question of our personal taste. I think Hageman Viragos are very similar to the "orange project" that we saw in this video. They are nice bikes, but i think they are lacking some refinement. But thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
This Video just gave away a secret in that Mission Impossible Video Clip that was played in the beginning of this video lol!! When the red street bike went off the dirt jump and was in the air, you can see that the bike has Knobby rear dirt tires, and after the bike landed, the bike was showed or seen with Rain/Street Tires.... If nobody else noticed lol, check it out, I could be wrong but I am 99%sure. Thats funny we dont see that kinda stuff while watching the movie lol. Have a great day people!
I Freaking Love The Design Of The Exaust On This Bike.. . And I Feel As If Exaust Routes Play A HUGE Roll In A Custom Bike Design! Really Really Proper Exaust Right Here Ladies And Gentlemen, Expect Top Notch Bikes To Be Seen Here On RACER T.V.! Proper Proper
+Andrew Carbines Sorry to hear that about this voice. I use this "robotic" voice, because i'm Portuguese, and my bad english accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that i like for my videos. I already tried a real american voice in one of my videos, but things didn't worked as i expected. Believe it or not, the robotic voice sounds very good for all non english natives. Try to see all this, as one of the firsts youtube channels in the world, using a voice that isn't real. It couldn't be more original than that. :) Cheers.
+massimiliano parisella To be honest, that's a very difficult question. Because everything depends on our personal taste. But i think the old japanese and italian bikes and also the Bmw bikes, are probably the easiest, because they don't demand to much work for the transformation. I hope this helps. Cheers.
There are so many variables, that is almost impossible to answer your question. It depends of the level of transformation that you want. But i would sugest to search on youtube for "Cafe Racer Tips" , and you will find several of my videos that will help you about that. Cheers.
+Omar David Matar Guerrero Try to search on google for "HEADLIGHT OVAL, E-APPROVED". Unfortunatly, i don't have any information about the Tires. Sorry. Cheers.

yah. i notice the shaft converted to chain.
+Juraci Santos Muito obrigado amigo pelas simpáticas palavras. Um abraço.
What a beautiful work of art that bike is. I love the exhaust, the tank and the sexy rear subframe especially,
+Bob Barrett (Byjingo) I'm glad you saw the beauty in this project. I agree with every single word you said. Thank you for your comment. Cheers.
Man! The pipes and air filter are so interesting. Their locations and lines I could stare at for hours. Very cool Bike.

:) Obrigado. Um abraço.
The creativity these builders have are astonishing. Great video as always, my friend.
+ThatGuyFromNantucket Indeed. Thank you for your kind words my friend. Cheers.

4:50 I really like how that "seat" meets the gas tank!!
+Geonious Loooool.
😂
Wow !!!! One of the most beautiful bikes in this series of videos !!! Thx a lot for share !!!! You have a great taste !!!
I prefer the gentle bends like on the the old Vincent's. More efficient and better performance.
I guess we are now in the days where Beauty is ugliness and.....Ugliness is beauty🤢😝
The tank is nice but it sits too high.
I love how he designed the exhaust pipes on both the motorcycles.
I really don't.
Why though ?
How did he convert from shaft to chain?
You say thank you for watching Racer Tv.
Yeahh i loveeee watching Racer TC. This project is authentic. Loved it. Cheers ;-)
+Robin Narula Thank you my friend for your support. I'm glad you liked. Cheers.

The narration and the music is very soporific. I have to go to bed now.
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
Incrível!! Já estou viciado no programa Racer TV!!
+Giovane SOA Ainda bem. Lol.
i love this channel, i get amazed in every video they post. thanks!
+JC Roguez Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you liked. Cheers.
It's an cool bike with some serious sculpting technique in the tank and overall body shape off the bike. The Italians are known for there ability in metallurgy and sculpting of metals, just like they are known for having an eye for striking shapes,so it's no wonder this bike is a Bella figura.
+ThatDutchguy I couldn't say better. I agree with all you said. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Cheers.
to see the transition is amazing ,I recently acquired a 84 xv1000 in hopes of converting it into a bobber
Good luck for your project. Cheers.
hey RACER TV, i'm enjoying every video on your channel. thank you for brought us most beautiful cafe racer bikes all around the world. i hope someday i can build one of them.
+Nicky Aldyano Thank you my friend for your kind words. I'm realy glad you enjoy it. Good luck for your future project. Dream, and it will happens. It is just a matter of time. :) Cheers.
+RACER TV you're very welcome friend! i notice that you always mention 'i don't want to talk too much. just see how beautiful the bike is', love it, and your british accent! if you have any suzuki thunder gsx 250 to review, please post the video. cheers
Yes it’s the angle and portions the combos of different bike parts Those pipes. Well done 👍 you fired here up 🏍
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers.
Maravilhosa motocicleta. Obrigado pelo vídeo. Vintage
Obrigado amigo. Fico contente que tenha gostado. :) Um abraço.

Beautifull work ! I really love the "shape" of the tank and seat. I want same on my monster.
+MykiHell Indeed, but i think this fuel tank only fits well in a skinny frame. I'm not sure if this is the ideal tank for a Monster. But thanks for your comment. Cheers.
loved it mate, as always.
Makes you realise that any bike can be café'd.
+Chris Harris And as always, Thank you my friend for your comment.
I wouldn't say all bikes can be a cafe racer. Because there are some bikes that demand so many changes, that would be a project financially prohibitive.
Cheers.
+Alain Semedo Sem duvida. Obrigado pelo comentário. Abraço.
Masterpiece! And with two slash cut exhaust pipes would be even better !!!

Very impressive bike. Beautiful!
+Phil Turton Indeed. Thanks for sharing your opinion. Cheers.
Gorgeous machine!
Saludos.
the 750 (orange bike) is a good looking bike too. both bikes are easily with in the top 20.
+someguy I must say, that the orange bike in this video, is only an example about using the Virago model in a cafe racer project. But is not going to be included in the next election of the 2015 best Cafe Racer. But I'm glad you liked both. Thanks for your comment. Cheers.

Not my favourite Virago Café reincarnation but still a great bike.
+Alex Ferreira Thanks. But you let me curious. What is your favorite virago based project?
+RACER TV i got curious 2!
RACER TV Well:

Not bad at all. It is also a very nice project, But i think i still like more of the Plan B project. But thanks for sharing it. Abraço.
+RACER TV which gas tank is it? and gosh love the bike.
+himanshu sharma As far as i know, this fuel tank was custom made by Plan B Motorcycles. Thanks for sharing your opinion. Cheers.

Hard to turn mopeds into cafe racers
what is the tank of... a wonderfull creation whole bike
+Tommi CH This fuel tank is completely custom made. But as far as i know, it was inspired in the old Norton fuel tanks. Cheers.
thank you, fantastic...
Virago's done right are a good Vincent retro
+Roy Rodriguez Yes. I understand your point. It's inevitable forget the same engine configuration. :) Thanks For sharing your comment. Cheers.
Parabéns pelo canal !! estou querendo transformar minha moto numa café race, teria dicas de motos brasileiras de baixa cilindradas p/ projetos cf

What do you think about Honda CB 1300 for a Cafe Racer Project?
+Arthur Palma There is no perfect bike for a cafe racer project. Everything depends of what every person needs, and what he most like. I don't see any problem with the CB1300 for a cafe racer project.
I only recommend trying to create an horizontal stance, just to achieve a more retro look. Good luck. Cheers.
Incredible bike!
I want to recreate that tank!
When should I start?
Where I can get it?
That is a very hard task. Only if you find a very good metal worker with experience on making these kind of fuel tanks. Good luck. Cheers.
It’s 100%custom or he started from an specific tank?
what's the name of the song that plays in the beginning?
Cheers.
If Coco Chanel were still alive she could tell them which bike to buy
RACER TV To be honest I find your subjects to be more style driven than a real development of motorcycles. Any really nice bikes seem to be an accident. Good luck. Hope you win the lottery more often.
do you have any BMW k100's in the pipe works?
+Chris Harris Sorry, but i didn't understand your question.
Are you asking me for any suggestion about exhausts for the K100 model?
RACER TV English isn't my native language but I think he's asking if we will see any K100 cafe racers in the near future? In any case, these bikes by Moretti are beautiful, thanks for sharing !

Lol. You are right. "pipe works" can be interpreted in that way. Thanks for your help, and for your comment. I'm glad you liked this bike. Cheers.
+Chris Harris Not at the moment. But i already made a video about the BMW K-Series by Larry, and Carol Romestant. I'm sure you will like it. Cheers.
Chris Harris I'm working on a 87' K100 conversion currently. Slowly getting there. Check out my channel, I'm starting normal and motovlogs very soon.
Very beatiful
not the same bike anymore, but sweet conversion!
+Gregory Parker To be honest, i never expected so much success with this video. It seems that this project is really special for the majority. Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
oh! that's sound!!!
gotta say, that last pic with the gal sitting backwards... is hot as hell!
makes me feel old though... as I know I'll never sleep with anything like that again! :(
Loool. Cheers.
Worst part is I'm only 31 LOL!!!
ChromeArty never say never think rental
gosto muito que genio.
davvero spettacolare!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing
+Zone Television Thank you my friend. As usual, i'm glad you liked. Cheers.
Cheers.
+RACER TV Thanks for your answer. Everything is better than stock. I don't like plastic.l bikes. Greets from the Netherlands.
nice vid
+Lam Eric Thanks.
Yes, you are right about the tires. :) Cheers.
the voice kills my soul!!!
+Andrew Carbines Sorry to hear that about this voice.
I use this "robotic" voice, because i'm Portuguese, and my bad english
accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that i like for
my videos. I already tried a real american voice in one of my videos,
but things didn't worked as i expected. Believe it or not, the robotic
voice sounds very good for all non english natives. Try to see
all this, as one of the firsts youtube channels in the world, using a
voice that isn't real. It couldn't be more original than that. :)
Cheers.
what type of moto you raccomand for a good project ????
+massimiliano parisella To be honest, that's a very difficult question. Because everything depends on our personal taste. But i think the old japanese and italian bikes and also the Bmw bikes, are probably the easiest, because they don't demand to much work for the transformation. I hope this helps. Cheers.
thanks !!!!! and sorry for my bad english
massimiliano parisella
No problem. My english is also limited. :)
What is the best first cafe racer bike
There are so many variables, that is almost impossible to answer your
question. It depends of the level of transformation that you want. But i
would sugest to search on youtube for "Cafe Racer Tips" , and you will
find several of my videos that will help you about that. Cheers.
RACER TV Its Awesome
can someone give me info on those headlights and the wheel size, front and back?
+Omar David Matar Guerrero Try to search on google for "HEADLIGHT OVAL, E-APPROVED". Unfortunatly, i don't have any information about the Tires. Sorry. Cheers.
Thanks
