    What did you do to modify it so you could fit spoke wheels? Or are they a direct fit from the older models?

      +Brendan m Rear is from a later model XV, dual shock. New spoken, off set to the left. Made new axel.Front is from a Ducati with a Ducati USD.

    I owned an XV920RH in red but it never looked as good as this café`d XV920-Virago. Wish I'd been able to keep that bike. Nicely done! ~ S ~

    That's one of the most beautiful Cafe Racer's I've seen!

    I'm hardly thinking about modificating my GS500 1997 into Cafe Racer and that's one of the examples that says to me "shh... do it!" :)

    Fantastic build. I love the way the speedo fits in there so perfectly. Real clean. Can you tell me which spoke wheels you used. I'm guessing XV700- how difficult to fit?

      Front wheel is Ducati, rear wheel XV700, re-spoken out of the middle.

    Where did you get the foot control extension rods and levers? Are they custom made or an off the shelf item? I am in the process of converting the same bike ('82 virago 920).

    What size is the carb? The original had the dual carb setup, right? How hard was it to do a single?

    want to do this so bad with a cafe racer I found online but I don't know much about engines and the like.. I could paint the rims and all that buy anything with the engine and wiring id be clueless :(

    I dont get it... Did you cut your frame? Why did you do that? How could you get this bike street legal with a cut frame?

      +FoxD13 no, did not cut my framejust made the "neck" a little smaller so i could lower the benelli tank

    how did you go about extending the fork tubes? I swapping the forks on my 1980 cb650 with ones off of a gsxr 600 and the forks are giving it a little too much rake.
