Alternator isn't bad, but it's TTK is. Guy is running 2 smgs with the same ammo type. Hate to be his teammate as he loots all the light ammo. Love to be his enemy as he can't do anything in a mid range fight.
I'm so used to these two doing the craziest challenges, that at this point them going out of their way to use bad guns just seems like casually playing.
just gotta say, i haven't watched the video yet but i think Sentinel Alternator is a pretty decent combo. not the best but definitely usable, i'm pretty fond of both those guns.

Straight up gave up on Apex recently so it's weird to see a new video pop into my feed. I just cannot get the game to run well (three CPU and GPU upgrades in last year or so and still stutters and is super unresponsive [bullets just don'e register]), and the absolutely critical need to have smooth framerate and response makes it a super frustrating experience. Back to Quake Champions so I can actually have some quick FPS fun again, not get driven insane by the Apex grind.
Nah charged up Sentinel is still getting love in ranked, but personally I craft the Alternator whenever we drop near a replicator. Thing slaps with a 2X bruiser on it.
I’m so offended listening to them disrespect the alternator. The slow fire rate allows for hella movement, I’m pretty sure it has the highest damage per mag out of all the SMG’s in game, and if you make sure you hit some of your shots, it’s very forgiving of missing a few of them because of not only the slow rate of fire, but the high ass damage it does per bullet. Also I’m pretty sure headshots do almost 30. Thats crazy high for a smg

The alternator is my most used weapon. Steady easily controllable rate of fire with easily controllable recoil.
That with the 99 is my fav combo.

There's a lot of good guns around so no one really thinks of using it. When we hit the crafter, it's 1: Heals, 2: Attachments

sentinel is the best weapon, i still craft it every game. Just being able to basically break someone shield from any distance is OP in long fights.
