This skin comparison is so deceptive. People fail to realize that the look of our skin back home is due to the dust we have everywhere mixing with our sweat because of our unpaved roads. On the other hand, people abroad have false freshness due to cold weather also if we must be honest with ourselves. The abroad fresh looking also mirrors the freshness of our food in the grocery stores or super market because of the chemicals used in preserving them that we also put in our body when we consume these food. Don't be deceived, those in Nigeria may not look as fresh as you expect, the truth is that they're more and very often healthier than those abroad. Go to Nigeria and tell me how many people in their 50s and 60s you find walking around with canes or back braces due to lower back problems. But here in America, majority of the people start developing back problems from the age of 40. Yes, you have the false fresh young looking skin, but you'll end up on a disability line and nursing home, while the people we think are older looking in Nigeria are still waxing stronger in their 70s and 80s. Go to the villages and see 70 years old men ripped with six packs, full of energy than an average of 40 years old abroad. Abeg, let's rest matter, If we rid our streets of the dust, couple with our naturally grown food back home, we'll even look better than people abroad.
Nice one bro. U are doing a nice job but u can do more better if u are doing life streams to get people outside ur city involved. There are people outside Roma that want to tell their story. Not just Italy including outside Italy. Think about it. All the same nice job.

If you go abroad, have a plan. If need be go to school, learn the language If you are living in a non English land, the language is a must to learn. Integrate!, integrate, integrate!!!!. The door that opens many doors.
Exactly!!! This is what I keep saying.. If one is heading to Germany or lives there already, one must learn German to survive,, learn Finnish for Finland, learn French for France, learn Mandarin for China etc, and connect with the locals. Learning a new language is not gonna be easy but it would open doors!!
Truth is that after the colonialists left us they didn't keep anything for the common man. Over 50 years later there's still nothing for the common man. The only opportunity is the same office the colonialists vacated so we scramble into those offices to gain the benefits.
It’s about a change of environment. Some people do well when they get to a new environment and start over. We are all looking for different things and may find them in different places. Yours may be at home. Someone else’s maybe abroad. It’s not necessarily the place but the opportunities it affords you. I know people who were financially comfortable in Nigeria but travelled out because their children have special needs. Nigeria is not yet a place that provides a better life for children with special needs. The parents are advancing in age and needed to secure better prospects for them. They are getting this abroad but couldn’t get it at home. I also know African Americans who are relocating to African countries to escape racism. The exchange rate favoured them so, with their savings, they were able to set up businesses and buy homes in Africa. I know another Nigerian who fled domestic violence and relocated to the UK. She lost everything in Nigeria. But was able to restart in the UK. So, you see that one man’s meat is another’s poison. You find what works for you.
Nigeria is the best place but insecurity is the only in Nigeria. I live in Europe but Nigeria is the best place to enjoy, there is nothing person will tell me about Nigeria it better I have little money I will be safe without fear

Things are relatively easy in the US when it comes to career advancement, thanks to the abundance of courses and certifications available. With the right mindset and dedication to studying, it's possible to land a six-figure job. However, my brother, the situation is quite different in Europe, excluding Ireland and the United Kingdom, where opportunities are more limited. Those who are familiar with the landscape know what I'm talking about. I have been to Europe many times. I have been living in the US for about a decade and I know what I have achieved my older siblings who have been living in Europe since the early 2000s are no where close to what I have achieved and not because they are lazy or not educated.
Japa is not for everyone. If you are a professional or a businessman that is already established with personal house, cars, money, family, you need to THINK carefully. You are just going to suffer. If you are lucky, you may make it after many years, many are not able to get to the level where they were before they left Nigeria
I almost got deceived by the title. But staying in this town hall country different from balablue , while you are enjoying good social amenities like constant light, good roads, health care, security abroad .
What about healthcare, security, good education? Money is not everything. At the end of the day - this man is still in europe. He does not have to worry about school fees for his children, getting kidnapped or going to a hospital that will not treat him until he drops money. These are the basic things the average Nigerian will still struggle with no matter how rich they are.
Healthcare? With long waiting times to see a doctor? Education? Where you are being brainwashed that male is female and vice versa,😅😅😅😅😅😅 What are you talking about? You work your ass off to pay huge taxes and ends never meet with 2 or 3 jobs? You are under a terrible illusion! Wake up... second slavery is what is happening 😅😅 Security? What about all the gun violence and knife crimes ?😂😂😂😂 So, no kidnapping for the abroad? You are not informed o😅😅😅
I want every country in the world praise their own men like Nigeria do, Nigerians think like only men on the face of earth but we can praise our men as women of countries not be fools.
There are Nigerians that do well, no doubt about that. But there are many that suffer also. No doubt about that either. Everyone has to consider personal, family, financial situation and make appropriate decision
Africans should learn this and stop disturbing public peace.... life is live every where on earth... If you are doing well in your home country don't travel anywhere to live, but you can go for visit.... There is nothing under the sun.....be happy where you are when God bless you... and stop unnecessary movement...
This man should state the means he got to Europe? His qualification? The purpose of his travelling? If you are travelling for a greener pasture. Remember you will land on a plain land, and have to plant your own greenies, and then wait for it to grow. The idea of i am going for a better life is somewhat over "sugar coated" As you struggle to make it in Nigeria, you may have everywhere else.
Sometimes I wish the whole Nigerians can japa from Nigeria to taste abroad for themselves before throwing stones at someone who sharing their experience and opinions, shebi na west una dey complain about, what about those of us in Asian hiding alot that's is going on here. Coming here has made me personally value home and family
Africans usually have a different mindset, different from those of foreigners. Foreigners believe in process. Us we have “get rick quick” syndrome. To be happy abroad, drop our bad and impatient mentality. Work hard, plan your time and resources, stop showing and putting yourself in depression when you have nothing to show. I had a car immediately i entered the US. I didn’t enter with a lot of money. I’m not manifestly rich right now, but I have seen the white people around me and seen that they may not be so rich but they are happy because they have a process of knowing things take time, they save, they don’t give respect based on money like Nigerians, they prioritize that once a year vacation and they are content. I adopted that mindset and happy that my baby is born here, I don’t put pressure on myself and God is great. If you can, find a better life for you and your family where there is safety and peace of mind. Ever since I experienced abroad, I can’t rest till I relocate my siblings and it must not even be to where I am.

Make una stop all these negative vibes abeg. Mtewwwww
If there is kidnapping, corruption, rule of "community" but not law....etc, personal financial success will not bring you safety and satisfaction. You will always live in fear of the future in your own country. That is what is pushing "well to do" people out of Africa. It is not about your personal situation but the country!
Yes, but you may need to further yourself in their vocational school, like Germany, you have to learn the language first n look for on the job training training programs (Ausbildung) or better yet look for mechanic jobs in Australia if you not scared of snakes.

The thing is,
In Africa (I dare generalize), getting a five star lifestyle is possible with less money than it is on the abroad. Here, you will need to earn a huuuuuge amount of money (almost impossible on salary), if you were to own a home with a little garden, so you stay in apartments.
Thanks you for this❤
I was in UK for 4 yrs. I did an MSc there and returned to Nigga cos of family issues, etc. That was in 2012.
Since my return,I have had a PhD and am teaching in the varsity.
Now I want to go back to UK or German. And I mean it.
For people talking like politicians, life is not all about money. For me, social welfare is paramount.Health education, security etc.All these will influence your quality of life and longevity.
Most Western countries are much much better than us and many African countries,by far.I am not begging for food.I have a storey building, cars,an investment and family. But am planing to go back because of those welfare packages I mentioned.Yes,one works harder there, but things work better there and are predictable too.
I want to have a qualitative life for the rest of my life.Me and my family.

My brother it all depend on destiny, you go see person wey enter Europe few months ago go don dey successful pass person wey dey there for more than 20 years. Another problem with most Nigerians abroad is illiteracy and most no get any skills or handwork wey dem sabi do. My advise is just to help our fellow brothers abroad and show them the way if we have one and to advise the ones planning to make the same decision so they have proper ideas of what to expect.

@@Siewe_Francois Destiny is the plan of God for your life before you were even born
@@EOMI777 What God said and what eventually happens is conditioned by *Faith*. Nothing happens automatically. In other words, making it abroad or not does not depend on destiny *alone*. @@Siewe_Francois My brother, what you are saying is true. You have to pray in faith and take action in faith for you to see manifestation. But there are somethings, no matter what you do, it will surely come to pass

What i cant understand is that we run from countries and people are running to our countries and doing well
Who? How? Where?
Yes corrupt people are enjoying in Nigeria.. people that speak truth in Nigeria does not enjoy anything
Nigeria is still best place for business with good capital to start oooo
Yes once person no get Capital...Na oyo be the person name
Wow. Eye opening
Nigeria is the best place but insecurity is the only in Nigeria. I live in Europe but Nigeria is the best place to enjoy, there is nothing person will tell me about Nigeria it better I have little money I will be safe without fear
Then go back home to Nigeria.
Our mindset controls the destination of our lives...As a man thinketh.
Nigeria is a lawless country. Not everything is productive like the light, health sector, and strikes in education.
Also , God's guidance and counsel should be sought before embarking on a journey or relocating.....
That's before. Now ,if you have little money, you become a target.
Yes

If you are going to study abroad it's good otherwise it doesn't worth it
Does dis longivity in settling down applie to USA and Canada??
Hmmmmmm oh my goodness.oh Lord have mercy.😢😂
It's funny that we take life changing decisions based on 'effizy'
Japa is not for everyone. If you are a professional or a businessman that is already established with personal house, cars, money, family, you need to THINK carefully. You are just going to suffer. If you are lucky, you may make it after many years, many are not able to get to the level where they were before they left Nigeria

The idea of i am going for a better life is somewhat over "sugar coated"
As you struggle to make it in Nigeria, you may have everywhere else.
Wow
Sometimes I wish the whole Nigerians can japa from Nigeria to taste abroad for themselves before throwing stones at someone who sharing their experience and opinions, shebi na west una dey complain about, what about those of us in Asian hiding alot that's is going on here. Coming here has made me personally value home and family
Thank you my brother, I live in Asia too china 😂 they will see pepper 😅
This comment is so valuable!
If you have your own house why then relocating abroad our mumu never do us

If there is kidnapping, corruption, rule of "community" but not law....etc, personal financial success will not bring you safety and satisfaction.
