Seyi, thankyou for this information. I really appreciate your sincerity especially since you are a Nigerian and you have seen firsthand how people may not be informed. We have mansions in our hometowns, lands, etc; but everyone wants more. People in Nigeria want to earn foreign cash that changes for a lot in Nigerian currency. People call it going to hustle. Nigerians love to travel.
But better to do it responsibly. Not packing up the whole family. But ego won't allow those who failed in their travel most times, to go back home. Especially if they sold their house, land etc with promises to relatives to travel and make it big etc.

Hi Seyi, I truly appreciate the well elaborated information you shared. However, my case is different, and I would love to share it with you if you don't mind. I got a PSW job in 2022, applied for Work permit and PR for me and my family. And while waiting for IRCC's decision which took almost 2 years, my client passed away and IRCC gave me 60 days to get a new offer before they finalise on my application. The time has passed over a month ago and still no employer for PSW. I got for HCCP ( child), but they also refused it. I truly need a PSW (Adult). All payments and fees has been paid completely including that of my Canadian immigration consultant. All I need is an offer from an individual employer and if possible now that tgey can allow organizations to sponsor. Many thanks.

Rural towns and villages in Canada have a wide range of amenities. Most are very modern with all the contemporary conveniences but isolated from the large cities, do remember that Canada is the second largest country in the world by area with a relatively small population of just over 41 million most living 200 miles from the US boarder. Then there are the towns and villages in the far north, Canada is an artic nation, these are always in need of professionals, doctors, engineers, teachers and tradesmen, electricians, welder-pipefitters, mechanics, equipment operators and tractor trailer drivers are just a few. Be prepared to upgrade your education and skills to Canadian standards and skilled English language competence is an absolute necessity unless you're French speaking and you plan to live only in Quebec.

When i moved to Canada in 2008, none of this information was available. In fact, i wonder how people managed to navigate because i dont even remember agents helping people. You had to download the forms and fill them out your self. What has changed on those forms that people of today cannot read and just fill out?

Common sense is work only given when you apply with an employment offer and this includes a signed employment contract between an employee (permit applicant) and employer, resume, etc. Without job offer letter from any employer, you can't get work permit
