In season 1, the fight was from Claudia’s perspective. Lestat was bashing Louis’s head in the floor and he wasnt bloodied at all by the end. I found that interesting

That was Claudia’s POV. She doesn’t see what they are doing in the room. Plus, in season 1 we see the damage on the coffin. And Louis doesn’t deny what is being said.
I think this part of their fight is true because Louis did not really get into what happened upstairs when they were battering eachother in the earlier season. I mean it kinda makes sense why he didn’t give more details about the fight especially when there was an eerie pause disrupted by the consolation of Louis’s words to their daughter. Louis simply didn’t want to look bad, or it was a memory that was locked away by Armand in order to antagonize Lestat. Or a memory locked away by the brain trying to protect him from the trauma and shock of that situation.

This is not another version , this is what Claudia didn't see and what Louis left out .Louis is an unrealible narrator , it was shown to us again and again . Lestat does lie during this , but the flashbacks are what actually hapenned . Now for those wondering who is in the real abusers ? Both are . This scene does not take away all the abuse we saw in the first season (everything that came from Claudia's journals is true). Lestat is still emotionally abusive and manipulative . But so is Louis .
