Unless you have to go through a gate to get onto that road then even on PRIVATE roads it is covered by the RTA got to any supermarket car park and they are covered by the RTA the car parks you go through a barrier to get in or out I believe are not covered by the RTA however I could be wrong.
Well said! On that note I should point out that DJ made an error in this video. He claimed it was a public highway so vehicles need tax, MOT and insurance, which he said they don’t need on private land. This is incorrect. It is in fact a private road but as it’s open to the public, the road traffic act applies, therefore vehicles do need an MOT and insurance, however, untaxed/SORN vehicles can be driven or parked there as they’re only illegal if on a road which is repairable at the public expense.
I just wish companies would just have a line in their employment joining instructions; ‘if you see anyone outside with a camera or drone, just leave them alone and ignore them’. Or perhaps an email to that effect, for those already employed. It’d save RUclips a lot of money.

If the landowner chooses to permit vehicles to park there, that is their choice. Even if someone parks on the yellow lines without the landowners permission, there’s little that can be done about it.
He clearly broke and was struggling on a basic level. Walking into a person like that is a sign of an inferiority complex, something you'd typically see police do.

So, parking next to a no parking sign, where there are double yellow lines, causing an obstruction opposite a factory entrance - which is precisely why there are double yellow lines there - made considerably worse by the vehicle being being well over a foot from the kerb, physically forcing any passing vehicles to cross the centre of the road right where vehicles are turning. All whilst simultaneously leaving his vehicle totally unsecure, leaving keys and what may be confidential documents on show and easily taken, plus whatever is in the back of the vehicle too of course. Not that you'd need to spend a hasty time looking when you could just bugger off with the vehicle and its entire contents anyway, safe in the knowledge that if you got caught you could claim to have been moving the van from a dangerously parked position as a public-spirited act of benevolence. Then we have, wearing a high visibility vest which is not fastened up, rendering it completely pointless when it is supposed to be visible from the front by virtue of it being fastened up. There is even a graphic of a correctly fastened up high vis vest depicted on a mandatory safety sign directly above him at one point in this video. We can get fined fifty quid at the airport where I work for doing that! Not forgetting trying to stop someone from going about their legitimate business, getting in their personal space, quoting incorrect notions of laws at them, and of course, wasting police time and resources. On the plus side however, if anyone wants a job as a warden, I should imagine there'll be a vacancy for one soon, and don't worry if you have no experience; you could hardly be worse at it than the previous bloke.

I'm not a security guard but I know enough to not leave my car unsecured like that when moving away from it even when there's no one visibly around.
