Alright thanks for doing this song and some Peppers, hard to get anyone to react to them. ( wish it was a different live version but hey) Long time RHCP fan from the 80's so I'm definitely partial to the John Frusciante on guitar days over the current, not to take away from his talent but the band with John is RHCP, as a whole . He brings so much raw passion to the music, and together with Flea their chemistry is undeniable. I've seen them many times and have to say they are one of if not the most energetic bands I've seen. So glad we have them with us still! Lost way too many!

my man john frusciante, my mother fucking hero! and yeah when you said about it being hard to do, and him multitasking, it is. ive played guitar since i was 12. john is my all time favorite player. this songs rhythm is very hard to play correctly, he plays it using his thumb and palm mutes all the notes he doesnt want hit and constantly mutes other notes while strumming all the strings freely. its a great example of funk style playing. which not a lot of players do. i can play it just like him but youll never see me playing this rhythm doing circle spins and jumping up and down. rhcp's stage presence is unmatched. and for anyone that doesnt know, this was their concert in Ireland. people see huge crowds like this and think it was a festival. this was not a festival it was their show.

They've got a lot of 70s and 80s funk music influence to them if you go back and listen to that first part where the vocals come in.

I'd make an argument for "State of Massachusetts" of well, but only with lyrics so he can get the context.

Peppers are my ALL time fav. Have this whole concert on dvd..is amazeballs! Was so stoked beginging of the year to hear the announcement that John Frusciante(guitarist) came back to the band after him departing for about decade. But then pandemic hit. Anyways have seen them live more than handfull times and every time has been pretty epic..CHAD SMITH is one of my top favorite drummers. Fukn love watching him play. Blood sugar sex magic is my favorite album produced by Rick Rubin. The dvd of the making of that album is great! For them to be pushing 60 and rock the stage man sumin to expierance. Saw them on their last tour for The Get away album the guys stil bring it.
That is Jihn Frusicante singing the aaaahhh in the back ups you liked.
SOOOOOO GLAD YOU FINALLY GOT TO R*H*C*P..welcome!
They have an extensive library..as they been around since early 80s. I got into them in H.S. late 80s... went to coachella ONCE and the main reason i went was for them they headlined..think was 2003! Them and G.Love and special sauce were my 2 reason for going and i didnt even catch G.Love. i was bummed. But end of day waa worth to see RHCP headline. I never had desire to go to cochella evee again..although im glad i went then when it wasnt like it is todat

the beautiful voice is John Frusciante the guitarist. Legend. And, i will add the only time they are relevant besides when Hillel was alive, is when John is with them. Thank God hes back.

All their guitarists have been great. They weren't relevant with Dave? They had HUGE singles from One Hot Minute. As long as Flea and Anthony are involved, I'm in; slightly different flavors with each guitarist.

Best concert moment I've ever seen is when Flea and John get face to face for a noodle jam "who's dick is longer"-fest. Just feeding off each other for 5 minutes till they segue into the next song and the drummer Chad picks up on it and off they go.

BTW Slane castle in Ireland is such a great spot, particularly during the daytime gigs - there was around 80k+ people there to see the Chilies, great choice of video!
