    Today I wanted to test myself and create a Scrying mirror, also known as black mirrors, for divination and psychic development. Keep an eye out next week for a video on how to use a mirror just like this. I really enjoyed doing this and hopefully, in the future, I can do more crafting videos.
    The items I used:
    - Wood and Glass Picture Frame
    - Acrylic Paint
    - Mugwort (Dried)
    - Brushes
    If you want to learn more about mugwort and its use in psychic work, I have a video on it here: • Mugwort in Witchcraft ...
    The Theban on the mirror reads: Peer into the dark and from it draw wisdom.

    you can also just put a piece of black paper in the frame to get a similar effect, then if you’re in the broom closet you can pop a normal photo in the frame when you aren’t using it and no one will suspect a thing !

    Water inside a black bowl or cauldron is also good for scrying.

    • @lenninmontiel4539
      @lenninmontiel4539 5 месяцев назад +2

      Really I actually never heard of those tactics before, I always thought only using a mirror or a crystal ball are better options for scrying.

    • @TheBusyHoneyBee
      @TheBusyHoneyBee 5 месяцев назад

      @@lenninmontiel4539 you can scry on the flame of a candle, on the flame of a fireplace, on the fire of a bonfire, on the night Sky, on the day Sky, on the waters of any body of water, anything that you could enter in a trance state, because you are not seeing with your eyes, you are seeing with "your third eye" or "eyes of your soul" or "the eyes of spirit".

      @branwen8009 5 месяцев назад

      @@lenninmontiel4539There are so many things to use for scrying! Hot wax in water, smoke, creamer in coffee!, clouds, tree bark...the list goes on! The perception of what is best in in the belief of the practitioner!

    I made a scrying mirror a while ago, but I've only used it once. Mostly cause I was scared to, but I really wanted to develop my psychic abilities
    It took a while to still my mind, but I eventually saw a heart then a butterfly and a heart again

  • @DeeDust

    Most cellphones when not on are black mirrors. Make a cleaning solution with mugwort and a microfiber cloth to clean the screen very nicely when you want to use it that way. Super useful for those in the broom closet and those who aren't sure if they want to invest in something more. It's less effective if the screen is cracked though. 🖤❤

    I finally did it! Thanks to your easy directions, it took no time at all. I decided to keep it simple and not adorn mine with any symbols, crystals, etc as I know that I am not that artistically inclined. Felix Unger said decades ago, "Simple. But, it says it." So, my philosophy is to keep it simple and quit while I'm ahead. Lol I just love my do-it-yourself scrying mirror and can't wait to use it. Again, many thanks & brightest blessings. Be Well, Alice R.

    Your mirror came out very well, and the Theban lettering looks just perfect. More tutorials of arts and crafts would be great. One of mine, that has been on the back burner for WAY too long, is making a primitive style “cauldron” out of a coconut shell, and fancy it up with some carving and/or some paints and dyes. Thanks as always. ❤️🥰

    You can also use really cool old vintage mirrors and then use paint remover chemicals to get the metal coating off (do this outside), keep in mind very old mirrors used to use led so be careful. Then I used a combination of powdered charcoal and UV resin, I do layers and layers of this with each layer only having a sprinkle of charcoal. This effect gives the mirror a really cool depth effect and it plays with the light in the craziest ways. Have fun and be creative/safe!

There are like so many types of fae, their personalities, their connections to witchcraft and what to do or not to do when interacting with them. I made sure to add a peice of black paper in the picture part to make sure the metal bits doesn't scratch off the paint. I used a divination oil on the sides bc i dont have mugwort and I put an incantation in the back piece then i got a pencil and wrote (in the worst cursive ever) my intention. The pencil idea was really cool bc if i want to talk to a specific Spirit I could write that intention on the back of the frame

    Has anyone made one out of a cheap frame that has acrylic instead of glass? I'm debating using a frame like this that I have. I'm not sure if it will be reflective enough. It's not a matte finish. I know glass is better but idk when I'll have it.
    PS, when you go to paint the glass, you can always make a couple loops of duct tape, stick them on the front side of the glass and then gently press that side to the table. This will keep it stationary so you can get the corners easier and avoid paint on the fingers too ❤️‍🔥 also thanks so much for making me laugh when you're trying to find things, because I do this too. I love how real you are 💯❤️✨
