    Can you take all stringers out and hull keeps shape?

  • @jb243wp
    @jb243wp 2 года назад

    Yep get rid of those wobbly rollers, nothing but trouble, been there done that...
    Centre rollers about 300-400 apart depending on the weight of your vessel, skids forming a V to suit the deadrise at the rear, series of V's tapering up the trailer to suit the rest of the hull shape, I've never looked back with mine.
    Mine will come around and centralise in any bad wind or current conditions if off coarse when loading no problem at all, it'll land bang on in the boat catch every time..good luck 👍

    Not sure if you were. But I wear multiple pairs of gloves. Then I just peel layers off as I go. Usually that with with epoxy though.

      @@AngryMackAdventures ye it turned out the transom wasn't to bad but it's out now. I can't believe how much water is being held in-between the layers it's shocking. I'm enjoying watching your vids keep it up

    Grinding is a nightmare. It seems you're done with it though. Hurray!
    In France, boat trailers mostly have rollers. Skids are used for light vessels, such as jet skis or very small and light boats. Different countries, different uses I guess.

    • @AngryMackAdventures
      @AngryMackAdventures  2 года назад

      Definitely done with the grinder for now lol!!
      Oh wow there you go, alittle different in Australia, we are using skids for everything now

      Hi chase, twin 150hp Yamaha outboards, but more information on that later in the build!

      Going to be awesome to see the new internal layout (tanks and batteries) to support this. I have 210 offshore with short pod that follows hull, I’ve only got a 175hp optimax on it (which is fine) but was always worried about going heavier due to weight distribution.

    Gday mate i had one of those drop down wheel carriers and they are great got a quote for a new one 500.00 so that aint happening (thats without wheel or rim just the drop section ) ill make my own . My boat is tiny compared with this but still heaps of work sanding ready for painting filing defects ect take care and take the drop down off before you sell that trailer and put it on your new one .

    • @AngryMackAdventures
      @AngryMackAdventures  2 года назад

      Oh wow did not realise they were that expensive! Ahh I wish I knew the trailer is sold now but it would if not fitted to new trailer!
